Please don't hate me. I like Melissa Rauch but i grew up with Harley having a certain voice and it's the only one I like. In addition couldn't even watch more than a little as movie was poorly written.

@malekar it seemed like it was written by the crew of Big Bang Theory

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

Let me start by saying that I really loved the previous three 'Pirates' films. They were a great mix of treasure-seaking adventure and humor, action and romance. They were the Indiana Jones of this generation.

While this fourth 'Pirates' movie has all the ingredients of the previous ones (with the addition of Blackbeard and man-eating mermaids), and even looks and sounds just as great, it seems like the magic is gone. For some reason I couldn't get involved in the story or the characters (old or new). Both the story and the acting seemed contrived (even more than before), meaningless and empty. Instead of the two hours of high-quality entertainment I expected, I got mediocre. Not bad, but I've come to expect more of it.

Unfortunately, this movie is easily forgettable. Not up to par with the previous installments. Let's hope they get their groove back in the next one.

@draackje that's how I felt when I first watched this film, revisiting it years later changed that and gave appreciation for the new characters ,storyline and of course the Mermaids

The more I watched of this whole franchise the less I wanted to continue. I guess it´s just not for me. Not everything can be.

Guardians

I was very pleasantly surprised, definitely above Doom, Cobra, etc class of movies. It' doesn't have a genre behind it like Marvel, but it seems to have a good X-Men like origin for a single story as a movie. Fun stuff.

@gmillerd this probably is what Marvel.RU looks like

Shin Godzilla

Worth it just for the atomic breath scene.

The first form of Godzilla was really freaking weird looking. Seemed like they focused all their CGI money on the later stages and completely forgot about the first part. But after that all scenes involving him look fantastic.

The pacing IMO was way too fast. And the human scenes were kinda boring because it focused on the bureaucracy and politics of such an attack and I really didn't expect that. Very un-american typical monster movie but it worked.

Overall it's a fun movie. Would recommend it. I will definitely check out the older Godzilla movies now.

@hwlr As a fan of the series I liked it; definitely one of the better Godzilla movies; classic feel to the movie franchise from the 1950s.

You know what, pretty decent! Its not exactly aimed towards adults so with that in mind, pretty decent!

@kirenosslrak Well said, I couldn't agree more. Much better than first reboot , was fun to watch like the classic. Bonus points for them sticking in super model Alessandra Ambrosio cameo in a TNMNT kids movie.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I REALLY don't get why most people didn't like it. In my opinion it really worked quite neatly

I rated a 7, could be higher but I agree with most people about the film's presentation ie choppy editing and use of CGI effects. I saw some better CGI 25 years ago in Jurassic Park. However that being said the overall story was great; the last 30 minutes of the movie the most epic.

The Dark Knight

I've seen Batman Begins yesterday for the first time and I didn't like it that much. i rated it 5/10. thought this one might be better but it didn't. i've watched the first hour then jumped right into the last 20 minutes or so. I just couldn't watch more. clearly, it wasn't made for me.

If you didn't actually watch the whole video, then why you rate it ?
