What a strange movie. It mostly takes place in a single room but all of the dialogue is bland and no one is believable at being as smart as their characters are supposed to be. It feels like whoever wrote this tried to be thought provoking without actually understanding what they're talking about.
Fun watch and I enjoyed all the reference to the original except... The scenes with any original cast members felt forced and often cringe. Dan Aykroyd wasn't bad but that's because he was just being Dan Aykroyd.
I wasn't expecting much, but that was pretty bad.
If boys assumed death came for Niko, why didn't they have to run this time?
Wait, why can she see them without her powers?
Almost two hours of constant anxiety
The whole aspect of using this for incarnation wasn't thought out at all. No one is getting rehabilitated by being "locked" in solitary confinement. What is the point to going through multiple life sentences in a matter of minutes? Society isn't protected from a dangerous person, the offender is barely inconvenienced, and assuming they're in solitary they aren't rehabilitated either.
It was just an okay movie overall, but Newton made it worth the watch.
Pretty tough watch. Everything that happened felt so forced and unimportant. Having what is basically a filler episode in the final season is wild.
What a masterpiece. Best episode so far!
I don't know what's going on with the other comments, I thought it was great!
I regret sleeping on this so long. Such a great movie!
This movie was fucking bananas
"Watch old movies" is such a bizarre and unnecessary line.
What a bizarre experience this was. Everything just felt so off, but the music was the oddest part.
Constantly making unhinged decisions is getting a bit old.
First act was rough but things picked up and it was rather a pleasant surprise.
The people that write this show know very very little about the real world
Weighing to the second decimal place doesn't seem very scientific.
Ah yes, he overdosed by stabbing a big needle into his chest, as one does. Not suspicious at all. :person_facepalming:
Using a made up language feels like a poor choice. But poor choices seems to be the theme to this movie so I guess it fits.
The amount of people that didn't know this is based on the Broadway musical is shocking.
So they didn't explain the stigmata, cut, lack of decomp, and the slime...?
I hate these fucking kids.
He could live for awhile on those bugs.
I really enjoyed this! I might actually devote some time to the anime now and watch it too.
Well that was very disappointing.
Ralph's character not acknowledging how similar the drawings are is frustrating.
Yikes, the CGI is like watching Halo gameplay footage
I feel like this show is now suffering from a reduced budget or something.
