I donno how I'll be able to go on not knowing how Michael Burnham is feeling every 5 minutes.
The reason why it's a new series is pretty simple. When this season fails they can start Doctor Who 2005 back up and pretend this season never happened.
About damn time he showed up, now I have someone to root for.
I feel like this show is now suffering from a reduced budget or something.
Farming montages, just what I love in my sci-fi.
Somehow feels both low budget and big budget at the same time.
First trailer dropped and I'm feeling pretty meh about this so far.
March 15, 2024 update. It was much worse than I ever expected. I doubt S.J. Clarkson will ever direct again. Pretty impressive production for a CPR training video though.
This show gives me anxiety, I think that's intentional but it's intense. Not sure if the show is right for me, but I'll give it a few more episodes to feel it out.
What a masterpiece. Best episode so far!
Yikes, the CGI is like watching Halo gameplay footage
I enjoyed the extra character development of Hela. I'd really enjoy seeing this character again in the MCU. The training reminded me of Doctor Strange #1.
I find myself rooting for the monsters as I dislike every character in this show so far.
Remember when Rick used to burp and drink?
Clever of them to hide how religious this movie is in the marketing. It's a loose adaption of the Book of Job, and is very preachy.
First act was rough but things picked up and it was rather a pleasant surprise.
Using a made up language feels like a poor choice. But poor choices seems to be the theme to this movie so I guess it fits.
Well, I went in thinking "It can't be that bad"... It's pretty meh. If I had to describe this movie in five words I'd use; generic, desaturated, lens flare, slow-mo
I enjoyed it. Captivating concept and well acted. My only complaint was how distracting those very bad coloured contacts on young Elias were.
This episode will divide the fans, I'm on the side that loved it, it was great! So well done. That theme song!
Pretty tough watch. Everything that happened felt so forced and unimportant. Having what is basically a filler episode in the final season is wild.
I don't know what's going on with the other comments, I thought it was great!
That was... wild. Cameos were exciting to think about but so poorly implemented and wasted.
Struggling to finish episode 1. Does it get better?
The amount of people that didn't know this is based on the Broadway musical is shocking.
Visually there appears to be a lot of money spent on this. But the dialog, motivation, and direction all make it feel like very low budget SYFY original. @scooby-snack hit the nail on the head saying this feels like it was written by AI.
But... They didn't need a badge for that, did they?
I stopped halfway through episode 3 and won't be continuing. Everyone talking about how cringe it is are spot on. The fact this is rated so high (currently 71%) is baffling.
