Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo!

I really loved this.

I loved the 1969 animation style (also used in Guess who Scooby Doo). But even though the animation was based on the old style, it was smoother and looked better due to the colouring.

I loved Velma finally being blatantly a lesbian. While I know many producers tried to have her gay, they weren't allowed to make it so blatant and at least leave room for the friendship interpretation. Still, this movie finally allowed Velma to be interested in a woman with the same oomph that straight relationships had. I also love how Daphne's supportive ex-girlfriend vibes.

I love the storyline, I think it's a little different from the usual catching masked villains to find a moral, but I really did think it was interesting. It kind of pushes the franchise forward.

Purple Hearts

Literal millitary propaganda - don’t watch this it’s so bad and only trending cause it has booktok tropes. The story is literally a white conservative man and a poc liberal women fall in love and she ends up being conservative at the end despite his racism towards her family

Omg this movie literally made me not regret watching it before so i could analyse it for school. The symbolism, characters, cinematography. the Shirtless scene!!! This man knows the female gaze. This man knows how to direct action .

I know the first thing you see is the bad rating. But i ask you to trust me when i say this is a good movie - actually a great movie. And the actors are amazing, like Rajit Kappor made me want to become violent because of how annoying they were, and i don't care what you say, being able to make people want to kill your character is a skill. I'm gonna be honest the minute i heard the whitewashed Hindi (being compared to the normal Hindi) i knew this would have a lot of detail, and it did.

I think the only real problem is that they focused on the coming out a lot, but barely explained the backstory like the kiss behind a wall (with a little peek window) was not enough, i needed to know more about Pallevi's younger days

Ever notice how men are the only ones commenting that it’s bad? Cause they don’t get it - they think it’s got too many themes too many mixed up ideas, too many Paradoxes. But that’s what this movie is about. This movie is about growing up as a woman, cis and trans, and how paradoxical it is. This is about how women and men alike are forced to fit into these images and when they don’t they’re hurt. Yes there were problems with the films (some jokes didn’t land, the Mattel criticism seemed unfinished, etc) but the idea that the film was “bad” and something you shouldn’t want because it “hated men” (or you know told men to not base their worth on a woman’s validation - but whatever right) is a crazy idea

Bring tissues - especially if you're a First-gen kid with mummy issues. It's funny, but it's also just emotional trauma.
