Barry Allen the stupidest man alive is back. This show played so much with time traveling that's it doesn't make sense anymore and it's impossible not getting confused about it.
"Now, who's the villain Flash? Now, who's the villain?" I got goosebumps, literally.
My body is ready, slugger.
While most of the Avengers are taking a "vacation" in Wakanda, SHIELD is out there saving the world again and again. Maybe SHIELD should be in the movies and not the other way around. AHAHA jk. Tony Stark and Vision may be the only ones that knew what was happening and still they would need to ask the UN for authorization. I guess they could send the military first and only them as last resort. The thing I didn't get was about the three EMP devices in the USA (Miami, LA and DC) but Coulson, Mack, Fitz and Yo-Yo only deactivated one of them, right? So who deactivated the other two EMP? I was bit confused there...
I guess New York should've been the primary target from the Watchdogs but then they would need to explain why the Defenders weren't there.
I loved this episode. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
First of all, I'm actually really scared of blackouts. I mean, if something like this happened to me and I had to live without electricity for the rest of my life, I think I'd prefer to die. I know that the blackouts in this episode only lasted a few hours, but seeing all those big cities without any lights made me feel super anxious.
Daisy, my love. I wish they'd just let you live in peace for 5 seconds.
No one can break my heart like Jemma Simmons crying. But hey, at least May's okay! Those hallucinations were terrifying.
The MVP award in this episode goes to Fitz saving the day using homemade compasses and trigonometry.
Is it just me, or are they setting up a Coulson/May romance? After 3 seasons of barely hinting at it, I didn't really expect them to make it happen, but everything's pointing in that direction. Which is fine, although I still have hope that Amy Acker's character, the Cellist, will return someday.
A better episode than the pilot, in my opinion. The bias and expectations from the original are now gone, so I can now enjoy and respect it for what it is. So, the second episode felt more natural and interesting. We'll see where this thing goes.
Please for the love of the universe someone give Amy Acker her own show.
For real, one of the best, if not, the best episode of the entire season !
Amazing !
Great episode. Only goofy part was Brian discussing NZT with a family in the beginning.
I really had no expectations for this show, so it was okay.
I think that with time I can actually like the characters, however the writing needs to improve a LOT.
But the shaky camera when they are running is so awful! I really hope it was a one time thing. And all the cool stuffs he does with everyday things really should be fun and new, and in this episode it was pretty much what we've saw in every spy show/movie.
This is so bad I couldn't finish the episode. When the girl hammered the notebook to "extract" the HDD, that's when I said enough.
Prepared for the worst, so I wasn't directly disappointed but definitely confirmed my assumptions.
The opening is teasing you with the iconic soundtrack just to change it entirely shortly after and the opening ends with the evenly well-known explosion with the name MacGyver over it. Appears so half-assed. Really.
However, why have they recasted most of the characters and reshooted the pilot but of all the issues we saw early on, they kept the biggest one: Lucas Till? That makes no sense.
He comes off as a snarky, arrogant and condescending ass. He's this way too young superman type of a guy, who can do basically anything. He's too much of everything, he's seriously unrelatable and unlikable to the core. I hope, they turn that assholeness down a lot in the upcoming episodes. This episode - for a MacGyver and this show is just that: a modern attempt at a MacGyver by taking what's cool these days - appears simply too violent for what it is or tries to be. Hopefully that was just an attempt at drawing people in.
CGI effects are atrocius (except the "useful" hints that that object is an unfolded paperclip and such). I hate cheap CGI gunfire, seriously hate it. If the explosion is cheap CGI and defies any laws of physics (bomb explosion), okay, you usually don't have that many of those, you laugh it off and move on. But gunfire was pretty common here and was Blindspot S1 atrocius or even worse. This, for me, is one of the biggest immersion killers in any action packed movie/series.
Having the ex-Rush Hour (TV Series) actor, who played Carter, be in this as "Wilt" seems unnecessary. Any scenes with him are a waste of time as they take away from the MacGyver-ness of the show. He's supposed to be the cover for Mac and has no clue what Mac does for a living. But why?! Why is it so often necessary, to have a main protagonist live with a "cover" friend? Can a spy, super-agent, can-do-everything adventurer, or whatever never live alone without raising suspicion? It never makes sense and always imposes on the actual show at some point. It makes even less sense for a MacGyver show.
It's pretty action packed so it might catch on a younger audience, though.
But what I really wonder is, why should one watch this?
It's a copy of a copy of a copy. Scorpion, Blindspot, The Last Ship, Containment (in a smaller scale), Supernatural, Orphan Black...
All shows with a group of people solving ("world") problems. This has literally nothing setting it apart.
The little things he does with tinfoil and stuff was way too shallow and, well, lame. Opening handcuffs with a bobbypin? Never seen before! Putting tinfoil in some ammonia+corrosive to create smoke to start the firealarm? So exciting!! So much easier than using a lighter and I always have my bottle full with ammonia on me, anyway! A parachute from the planes of that truck? Mindblowing. All these things felt like they were a stupid joke reference to the old MacGyver that is thrown in between all the gun and explosion action. There's (mostly) no relevance to it whatsoever. I wouldn't have anything against a (good) modern MacGyver reboot but not how this episode tries to sell it: as a joke.
Say what you will, I missed this show a lot, I loved season one and I loved this episode. Of course there's a mole. And the new lady would probably be too obvious. So we'll see where this is gonna take us. I'm excited!
Restoring confidence in someone once lost is difficult, Kalinda Sharma errr, the official NSA well
Some people hated on Fish from previous seasons but I think she was really one of the main reasons to watch the show along with Cobblepot. She's had some great one liners too. Glad to see her back.
When Gordon takes out Killer Croc in the first 5 minutes why does Bruce ever have to become Batman ?
I am so glad to have Gotham back. Last season was absolutely brilliant. Expecting good things this season as well.
The premier was so good. I am loving this crazy Barbara haha, Gordan as a bounty hunter is quite the badass. The reporter seems like an interesting character as well. Excited to see where this takes us. THAT ENDING. WHAT. HOW MANY TIMES DOES HE NEED TO BE KIDNAPPED LOL.
Loved the episode. 9/10
Also will be interesting to see who the stowaway was that came with them from the alternate reality. Probably will be one of the bigger reveals in season 3 since they did not explore it on this season. Could be Jace Corso again lol
Damn that was one hell of a cliff-hanger.
this episode perfectly reflects the best of what limitless has to offer: a catching story, great actors, a lot of sarcasm, yet enough room to get your attention caught.
I would have watched more often if I knew the season was ending already. Limitless is definitely getting better with much more intrigue. Sure the goofiness still exists but it's a fun show.
" The Last Ship" even know its a tv show with 3 seasons so far, I must say Thank you to all who made this show possible, even the actors for such Great work, this show gave me Allot more respect as well I value even more what people do to protect each city, town, state province's, land and waters in general. my hat off to all of you that supports our men and women who fight each day for our people around the world, even every race, and culture.
I want to thank you!
THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST TV dramas of the last 5 YEARS IN MY BOOKS !
I never thought about wanting to fight or be part of a team like this show sets the stage, but I can truly see myself wanting to support such a unit ! as team players and supporters. WELL DONE!!!
Awesome episode! Finally some loose ends tied up.
Loved seeing the army members lay down their arms, for the right cause. Also wish Tex didn't have to die :'(
What an awesome finale. This show just keeps getting better and fucking better. I'm glad that bitch Shaw got what she deserved. Why you Tex? Why you.... RIP.
This season was INTENSE!!!
So much drama!!
So much stress!!
So many good-byes...
I'm gonna miss those who are no longer part of the show.
See you in Season 4.
Yes, New season is confirmed in Happy Birthday Sense8 video by Netflix https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=39&v=Yt0ws-nDvmg
This final episode was incredible, full of action and... Sadness. Will is so brave, he even sacrificed for the sensates, that's heroic but he can't live sedated forever so season 2 will be interesting. I like the way they showed so many things about the group we didn't knew. Like... Wolfie's story (he's such a badass too) and why he can't be with Kala :(
I liked this series so much because you can connect to every sensate in so many ways. It's amazing, even when they have different lives, you can also understand them, you can feel with them, I like the way you actually care about their feelings and they almost become yours too. Not many shows can do that, and they managed to do it in just 12 episodes. I'm sure I'm not the only one begging for more SENSE8.
I can't believe that's the ending of the season. So much to explain. I see the only viable resolution being they have to get to Whispers and take him out. Is that Season 2? I think my favourite character remains Wolfgang
Totally brilliant and better the other overrated shoews
Births, deaths, fireworks, guns and a bazooka. In what other show might you find these things together?... I think Wolfgang stole the show.
I've seen so many tv series and I want to say only one thing. The last long scene of this episode has been the best longest artistic and emotional moment of all the shows I watched.
Thank you for this.
