I don't know what to say. Is it normal that Barry is so ... i dunno, dumb?
What are the writers doing? So Barry hears that he is about to go gaga and the first two things he does is chasing a meta who can drive him crazy in a instant, instead of leave that task to someone who hasn't been accused for destroying the earth yet. Great idea!
And then that thing with Joe :
When you hear something you can't believe, wouldn't you ask at least once "how" could that happen and "why"?
And btw: Am I the only one who wonders why everyone immediately reacts insulted to Barry when he talks about something he obviously doesn't know about ?
Things might make sense if Barry is still trapped by Xotar and it was all just an illusion from the point they first met. But then what would the point of this episode have been?
Episode 5
(Episodes all out of order)
When they did said Stargirl was moving to CW I got worried, but It's actually going pretty good, it doesn't even look like a CW show.
I'm a bit disappointed that Alder's death wasn't a bigger blaze of glory. I feel like they had to cram a lot into the finale and its a shame it wasn't a two parter or a feature length episode.
Love the idea of them having to work with Nicte at the end and just love this cast all round tbh. Need more of this show in my life.
So wait...the witch plague that got locked up in the clean room...doesn't that get out now that the WHOLE BUILDING has been demolished along with the clean room? They didn't show anything about the plague, but I would assume he would be smart enough to know that was a possibility when he went to destroy everyone. Maybe he avoided that room and kept it detained? They are supposed to be smart. I assume they thought that through as they did see the plague in the room nearly consume Raelle. Sooooo...did they just set a plague free to destroy every witch around? Did they just do what they were trying to prevent? This episode has so many questions I want answered. I guess I'll have to wait for the next episode to see if they make any references to it, any sort of note. That would be silly if they are the ones to cause such trouble. I feel so sad for Raelle... the moment she finally gets to see her mother again, she sacrifices herself to save her daughter. What terrible luck she has!
Another fantastic episode, I'm loving this show! Now it's off until July 27 2021, then we only get a bit more. The plus, it's already been renewed for a second season!
I might start a drinking game every time Ava and Sara say "babe". Will probably be drunk by the end of every episode they're in.
That was cool. I really liked the mystery and the reveal of this one. I'm just a sucker for immortality tales, you know?
I don’t know the original but this got me hooked.
Great visuals, a little bit feeling of an „old, trashy sci-fi show“ which I really like. Hope it keeps that way..
Episode 12
(Episodes all out of order)
Faye: "What, there's a bounty on me?"
Spike: "A whopping 6 million."
Faye: "What, only 6 million?"
Finally Matt Ryan new character, Davies looks funny and cute(?). Pretty different of the a-hole Constantine (who I also love).
Good epsiode overall but i'm not sure about the direction the story is taking.
having a time travel show where they get stuck in the past is kinda a tellltale sign that they're running out of ideas, while having Gideon as a real life person is something I've always kinda disliked them doing on this show.
But, we'll see how it turns out. It is only the first episode after all.
Still struggling with the Bruce Wayne casting choice. Ugh. Just doesn't feel like any version of him that I've seen or read at all.
Barbara Gordon however! Wow. Loving her portrayal so far. And looks like they've cast an actor who lost a leg too. Albeit not the same injury as Barbara but still. Sometimes it can be disappointing when they hire someone who fits a role in more than one way or simply because of it as they often miss out on casting someone who can actually act (Ruby Rose). But in this instance it seems they got a two for one coz she nailed it. Looking forward to more.
Fantastic episode. Lyne Renee is an absolute powerhouse as Alder. Some great revelations and what a final moment. The witch plague is truly terrifying.
P.S. Nicte's comment about Tally's dimples was A. Very gay and B. Very true.
Did anyone else recognize the “homage” to Lord of the Rings with the flashlight falling down the hole?
Emotionally satisfying! Your mileage may vary, haha
I'm so glad I re-watched the previous episode, to remind me of everything.
I loved how there were so many hooks, or emotional pay-offs in this episode...I felt them...even that earthquake (I'm still feelin' it).
:)
ps: Looking forward to Raelle & Scylla reuniting -- that's a guess, not a spoiler -- but, positive thoughts, right?
Yayyy HAPPY PRIDE!!!
Such delightful, tooth rotting, vomit inducing sweetness at the end there... but, excuse me... Kayla?! Are we to just forget about our Rory's gorgeous badass alien queen?!
ALSO - I totally enjoyed this episode! This is the fun, pick-me-up I come back for every time!
Great one, I'm really impressed by how this show defies the longevity curse most TV shows go through.
I'm sad that Alex is gone, but I guess it's understandable due to the accusations he was facing.
great episode, a little bit slow, but I think this season is somewhat similar to season 1. I think it is building on a fast paced end of season episodes for the climax. Naomi's actress was awesome in this episode.
On the surface this film is about a group of people who have been labelled “villains”, working together to save the world. But really, this film is about one man and one man alone, he isn’t strong, but yet he defies all odds and sacrifices his life to save his friends. His only power is his bravery, he is the driver of the van and the main character of this film, Milton.
Can't believe a character that I knew only for minutes made me tear up!
GLORIOUS PURPOSE!!!
Where the hell did her parents vanish to during the attack? She was yelling all throughout the house, and her mom just reappears right at the end. Lol.
(I know it doesn't matter, but I thought it was funny.)
That musical was actually kind of great; I wouldn't mind seeing more of it.
I like it. What's not to like? Action scenes? good. Christmasy theme? good. Kate? good. Vera Farmiga? goooooood.
Perfect end to Loki Season 1. Some may find the amount of talking in the episode excessive - but this was not about fighting a big bad (that was last episode). Loki has always been about self discovery, believing in yourself, and most importantly, Growth. I found all the conversations in the episode riveting. I've seen some believe that the actor in the reveal is hamming it up too much - I personally loved that performance. So much heavy lifting for the future of the MCU is done here, from Dr. Strange, Spider-Man, Ant-Man, and maybe Secret Wars? Love it.
Episode 1
(Episodes all out of order)
That was in parts extremly dark and gruesome. But it is countered by a very positive final scene.
So, that were basically the first Stormtroopers ? It will be interesting to see that transition.
Great episode. Tense all round. Having Clarissa back on the scene is definitely an interesting element. I felt for her previous story despite her very extreme methods.
The CW are renowned for being excessively woke in every aspect and I respect the attempt to raise awareness in certain outstanding issues amongst society. But they really need to address their delivery method as all the shows I love are just getting worse and worse and worse.
Supergirl was never a strong contender but now it’s just verging on unbearable.
All that said, it was nice to see some actual superhero action. Although, I’m sure it probably would’ve been much quicker for Kara to just fly the ice bomb into space rather than just stand there power stancing and staring at it for ten minutes.
Overall, Oliver Queen is turning in his grave and wishes he let the Antimonitor win.
