6 episodes with short run times, that feel like a G rated Best in Show (2000). I was able to finish it in one sitting without a problem as it's an easy watch with a simple pleasant story line.
it's basically a poor man's Wipeout - way less obstacles, but still entertaining
update: i guess this is a clone of a UK show from 2017 ... im off to watch that one too, beer in hand
5 minute episode - 2 minutes was Poincy developing pizza. this short format from Quibi does no favors for the flow of it's original shows.
4 episodes in and nothing has happened yet. tension is turning in to boredom, due to this Quibi format.
Richard (Mick Cain) gets his bottom lip ripped completely off by the Lady in White (Amber Smith), but doesn't even flinch until she drops her dress to expose her naked weirdness off camera. if that sounded interesting and intriguing, watch this movie, because that basically sums up the writing, acting and charm (?) of this movie.
low rating, so i went in with equally low expectations, but im really digging this show.
yesterday, 5/21/2020, Schooled was officially cancelled by ABC
very disappointed, as it was a great easy little sitcom to enjoy with a fun cast of characters.
this episode had 50% filler - and 100% disappointment
this entire movie is about past traumas, but the writing and directing is extremely weak, along with the stiff, bland acting that fails to have any emotional impact. especially, during the twists and revelations, that just fall flat because there is zero character development other than exposition - there is no reason to be invested or interested in any of what is being offered in this movie. i liked the concept, but it was poorly done and boring.
horror lite - feeble attempt at horror, but i laughed more than expected at the idiocy of the characters
generic creepypasta with [insert antagonist here] storyline.
not the worst, but very boring and forgettable.
if you've watched this episode and are wondering whether you should continue or not; skip this show and watch MovieBitches "RuView" instead https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BmPZloTkV_4 you'll be thanking me later
kudos to Tyson Hesse and the team that redesigned Sonic - they did an amazing job, especially in the time frame and urgency in which the project had to be completed to get this movie out in theaters, after the backlash of the original trailer.
James Marsden, also, did a great job - the man knows how to act alongside a CGI character and sold me on the interactions and friendship between Tom and Sonic.
this is definitely not a perfect movie, but i enjoyed it and would love to see a sequel, especially after the mid-credit reveal of Miles "Tails" Prower
7/10 - Good
Sherry Pie has been officially disqualified this season! twitter screenshots here https://imgur.com/a/AUfQig0
the OG cast looks fking amazing!
faults are that it can be overly long and unnecessarily annoying, but Doug's a solid critic
Toy Story 3 was the end of Andy's story. Toy Story 4 was the end of Woody's. not as great as the first 3, but still pulled at my heartstrings.
i made it this far and im not enjoying the ride. it was nice to see queens like Katya and celebrities like Adrienne Barbeau pop up, but it's not enough for me to continue, imo.
a complete filler episode, but i can forgive it because of Willam's character Douglas, which i wish i had seen more of this entire show run. to be honest, it broke up the monotony of Cal & Thom's stagnant cycled (lather, rinse repeat) storyline.
this show should have been 4 seasons of Lin Shaye's Diane and Traci Lords' Valerie - it would have been a better show
who told Manila Luzon that 90s Huck Finn was a show worthy hairstyle??? i wasn't going to mention it, but it continued on for far too long! have mercy!!! joke
i love to see Kamie Crawford as a permanent co-host, but these forced "twists" are really stupid and i think im pretty much done with this show after all these seasons/episodes.
this movie's release date was pushed back for years, and for good reason...it's bad
im rating this a 6/10 solely because Jennifer Lopez - everything else was less impressive and meh
this movie had some high and low notes, but overall it was a enjoyable dark comedy satire. Gabrielle Elyse's facial expressions gave me Maya Rudolph vibes the entire time. solid acting from the two leads; Sara & Hayley and good practical effects.
the run time is 24 minutes, but it felt much longer, the way it's dragged out. i like the idea, but poorly executed like the rest.
every step/twist of this episode was predictable, but better than most of the episodes.
average, but after watching some of the other episodes, i liked it alot more, due to it's lack of pretentiousness.
i really thought this episode was going somewhere, until it didn't. not sure if this episode was meant to play out like a comedy at the end or not, because of the absurdity of the visuals used. it truly felt, like it was a joke on the viewer for sticking with this crap until the credits.
