dude is a really good critic and brings up some really valid points on lots of stuff. too bad he's supposed to be funny :/
Well... I'll give this a try for at least two episodes more but so far none of the jokes landed for me.
This was the most satisfying finale I watched after a long time. Would love to see it back on Netflix.
I didn't expect this show to keep being this good, but the third season was even better. It;s funny, it's sad and it's real life. I also love the fact that they added some characters with real life problems.
I'm adding this as a new contestant of my best episodes of the year list. Also, this season is just very, VERY good so far.
Worth checking out if you liked shows like Pushing Daisies or Dead Like Me. Kristen Bell is great in this too. So good at playing a bitch lol. Yet she's a likeable one.
I didn't watch the original Rabid, so I cannot compare it to Cronenberg's version. I did like this Soska sisters movie though. It's entertaining, although the plot being a tiny bit too predictable. Then again, what would you expect from a body horror movie that kind of mixes vampirism with a zombie-esque outbreak. Props to the Makeup department, I especially liked the prostethics design in this one.
Terminators: Recycled was the same program run the same way after a soft reboot. Still, it was fun to see Linda Hamilton again and Mackenzie Davis is so good that I hope there's a sequel just to see her continue to be the action hero I never knew I needed.
Wow. One of the rudest 'catfish's ever.
Standard reaction after each episode: WTF is happening?!?!?!?!
J Lo - really excellent. Constance Wu - very good. The story - anticlimactic.
Blame the editing and the direction. It builds and builds and then peters out when the scam is up. Shame. 6/10
The best Star Trek movie of all time; that's how you do it JJ Abrams.
Never give up. Never surrender.
Great casting. The adult and kid versions of the Adam/Robert character actually look pretty alike!
Finding it quite enjoyable so far. We got a whole lot more questions than answers, but that's par for the course . with the mystery/crime genre. Looking forward to watching more episodes!
Not as interesting or engrossing as American Crime Story, but still pretty well done. You can definitely tell the tone of show is presented from Edie Falco's character's POV as the show presents the Menendez boys as worthy of sympathy.
Actually, not a bad episode. I mean, I've seen worse concerning this show, and yes, it's a compliment. A huge thing. Appreciate it.
Watch Inside No 9 instead. Stories actually make sense (and are still weird)
This is so weird, I dont like it but I cant stop watching... What sorcery is this?
dropped. its way too mediocre. i can do mediocre but this is just... too much
There's no two ways around it, this is a bad series. Every single episode is a lengthy exploration of literally nothing. No intrigue. No particular acting skill. No finding yourself drawn to the characters or setting. This is leftover ideas compiled with hot names onto a series of abject failure and low effort. You see every plot point coming. You can predict the dialogue. It's just all-around cheap. You won't remember moments or lines from old episodes. You won't care to revisit even a favored actor who got conned into appearing in this. I watch it sped up like a CW show so, on the off chance we're discussing it and I just finished an episode, I can lay into the degree of specific criticism that manifests as the tar creeps over me. I actually decided to rate it one heart lower after reading this because it's HBO. You don't get to be HBO and accept this. That's a poor job.
The real horror is the terrible pacing and lack of focus in this movie.
Just 1 hour and 30 minutes of waiting for something to happen, and when something finally happens, the movie ends.
Jan 2020 cannot get here soon enough!!
Probably one of the best horror series I've seen in a while. All kinds of creepy, disgusting and scary, all at the same time.
My Review of ‘Head Count’ in 3 Sentences:
This was a clever little horror movie totally worth a rewatch.
This kind of storytelling is what I was hoping for from the new ‘Twilight Zone’.
Clearly you don’t need a budget or insane amounts of gore to be effective and super creepy.
While the movie is somewhat of a one-trick-pony, Head Count is intiruging from the offset with enough punch to keep you guessing. Not deep or "easter egg" filled like the hook would have you believe, but still an engaging watch nontheless.
Hooooooooooow is this show not more popular? Why did I have to find out about it by chance? So far, 3 episodes in, it's fantastic fun and pretty well animated. The fact that the plot spans over the whole first season or even whole show makes it all the more interesting, love those Babylon 5 esque space operas! ;)
No, but really, good stuff and I sincerely hope that enough ppl watch it so that we get more than one season at least.
I'm on the fence about this one. It took me some time (and patience) to fall in with its particular brand of humor. The cast has a lot going for it and the show finds a rhythm around the third episode. I stuck it out and, all in all, didn't find it to be a waste of time. That being said, it tends to go places many will find immature as opposed to taboo. If you find songs about menstruation in the style of "Everybody Hurts" to be over the top, you should skip this show altogether. Caveat emptor, let's say.
