You being a bigot doesn't mean the last season was "woke". Supporting gay rights and acknowledging the aids epidemic from the past isn't "woke". In fact, AHS has always had gay characters.

VIPOG12The movie mainly follows the original story and Halle Bailey was the best part of the movie.
Although her performance felt too broadway-ish at some moments, her voice is stunning and she shows a bubbly personality which makes it able to sit through this boring movie...
Why didn't they give her the iconic red hair though?!The other characters are pretty bad too...
Triton is such a player... He has 7 daughters and I'm 100% sure they all have a different mother.
The blackwashing of Ariel is pretty obvious, and that wasn't enough for Disney either so Prince Eric is now adopted and has a black mother too.
I hate it when forced diversity is getting pushed down your throat!Sebastian, Flounder, Scuttle, Flotsam and Jetsam all look hideous, what are they even thinking?!
Scuttle was annoying and they managed to make the worst Disney song ever called the Scuttlebutt.
The song makes your ears bleed, and it seems to never end!
Ursula doesn't look scary enough, Melissa McCarthy her face is just not fitting for the role, but I did like her voice and her vibrant tentacles. those look so awesome.
I did love Vanessa, she was absolutely epic!The CGI is very bad, it looks incredibly fake. Many scenes are also just way too dark.
Disney has enough money and I'm sure they can do way better than this.

I wasn't with this live action version... I was so bored!

Okay so, I think RuPaul has this amazing sense of humour, and that this show really brings a lot to a lot of people BUT why the hell does everyone have to be so rude to each other? This one however was bad… it missed every single thing that Rick and Morty in general makes a fantastic show. Yeah but people have been complaining about this season as a whole since the 1st episode aired. Those are the people my comment is about.
This will be semi-spoiler-y but nothing important.
Yeah. So I thought it was going to be a rip off of Battle Royale but I was wrong. It's actually a combination of both art house and grind house. So you get some really high concept stuff, mixed in with ultra violence. It basically starts off with a bus of Japanese school girls going on a class trip. After about a minute of this, the, uh, wind, cuts the entire bus in half and everyone on it, except for the main character, who was picking a pen up off of the floor. Hilariously corny cgi.
Well, she ends up in another reality bla bla. Then her and some classmates skip school and go to the lake and start pontificating about life. When this girl turns around, a crocodile jumps and pulls a Donald Trump and grabs her by the, well, you know, with his jaw. Then he just starts eating her. But then that stops and snaps back to reality, because that didn't actually happen.
Eventually in another life she is trying not to get married to a pig-man.
Then at the end, I won't spoil the what and why, but she ends up having to violently kill herself in all these different realities.
I don't know, I'm not really doing this justice. It was weird as f*** and ultra violent with awful cgi and "art house meets grind house" really is the perfect description but it's impossible to describe, you just need to watch it yourself.

That's not what this is saying at all. Seems to have touched a nerve with you though.
This starts out very slow and rough. The first 5 episodes are just mostly a waste. A lot of setup with no follow through. Just when you think it's about to go somewhere, the story ends.
Fortunately, the latter half finally tell some good stories. I only watched more to show a friend what I was complaining about, and then every point I had made wasn't really relevant.

To be fair it is a collection of short stories.
This show is beautiful. I've been watching it with English subtitles on Amazon. The subtitles are adequate for following the story but a heck of a lot is left out. There are parts to the story that seem really odd, and I can't tell if the oddness is due to cultural differences, or poor translations, or if there's some style that's being followed, or if the wackiness is because it's an adaptation of an animated web series. So there are some head scratcher moments. But also moments where time stands still and I am amazed.

This was a really good series. If you're here for the Time-travel part, fair warning, it's a very small part of the show.The show is a very well done, heart-breaking, murder-mystery drama, and worth a watch.
How I rate:
1-3 :heart: = seriously! don't waste your time

Time travel is a major part of the show. His adult consciousness is constantly in his past body. That is time travel.
This is such a good show. One of the best shows i've seen this year. I really like how everything is coming together & I'm really happy about old lady. Her bastard husband is finally dead and she is free....

There are 2 genders. Male. Female. Not other. There is straight. There is gay. Bisexual if you like both. Not a whole bunch of letters as long as the alphabet.
