That was painfully bad. How do these things even get a picked up
casting was well done, pretty good for a book adaptation.
:heart:x7
Although this new experimental format of story-telling is interesting - I prefer the more standard way of story telling - linear.
Having said that, the story itself is pretty good and interesting. The order in which I saw the episodes, kept me guessing as to what was happening at time (which was good).
However, I doubt we'll see a 2nd season unless we get a brand new cast. And there is one thing I still don't understand... Who killed Leo??
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
I rather enjoyed random episode order. Just watch White last. Chronological order is just spoilers. It could have been much better but it was entertaining. Remember, White last.
Why did I spend 8x 40 minutes of my life watching a tv show where absolutely nothing happens? I had high hopes for the last episode, but forget it: nothing ever happens!
Possibly the worst show I have ever seen.
Terrible awful bad show, ugh.
I absolutely love this show! I started watching just because Lady Gaga's fiance was acting, but you can't like it just because of it.
If I was in a coma and someone put this show on, I would wake up to turn it off ... 0/10
For fucks sake. This series is a godamn dream and they've touched on everything alright. This series is so immersive that when the crew won their Oscars, I felt my heart bursting with joy. My, my what a plot. What a cast. Absolutely gorgeous. Also love, how there is loads of queer representation here. Everyone's gay but that's not what you're gonna stay for. It's the chemistry and the actors and how godamn awesome this series is. 100% recommend.
I honestly thought this was going to fail, but it is entertaining as hell. Angela Bassett as a badass cop is just pure gold.
It took me almost 3 seasons to admit that this... is not good. When I first heard about Raven coming back I was thrilled! That's so Raven was my entire pre-teen years and so much of who I am was influenced by that. I can still watch the episodes and love it just as much. But this new show, or whatever Disney Channel is doing now, is not for me. The point of That's so Raven were her visions. Her visions were about the storyline. Now in some episodes on this show it feels like they kinda forgot about the visions and put one just to say they did it. The kids feel a bit forced and even the adults sometimes. I still love Raven and Chelsea's friendship but the writing (and sometimes acting) is nothing like it was on TSR.
People are raving about this on twitter but after two episodes I still don't get it. It's just some potentially lesbian cheerleaders with a slutty head coach with very little storyline. If you get this sort of thing you'll enjoy it but for me it's totally boring
It was a bit exciting at the beginning but towards the end, it was just hopeless. and the last episode!! what was that ??? not worth watching
WOW! If you liked Desperate Housewives (which I loved), you'll love this. Marc Cherry has created a fantastic witty drama that entertains and intrigues. The cast is perfect for each character and really carries the show very well. Probably one of my favorite new shows of the season!!
Love the girls, love the topics and most of all LOVE the music. Whoever is in charge of picking the songs for the episodes need a friggin raise because they are KILLING IT!
This is definitely getting a second season and I'm all up for it. The cinematography is gorgeous and the soundtrack fits perfectly with its themes. It addresses important topics that should be discussed amongst teenagers in such a natural, easy way.
The whole cast does a great job. I'll never get tired of saying that Asa Butterfield is a fantastic actor and deserves to get more recognition urgently.
the show should've ended with all of them dying due to the asbestos exposure
Really wanted to enjoy it as I like both main actors but it was so pointless. Tries to have meaning but there is none. Not a lot of episode so I pushed through thinking it will go somewhere, nope.
Best description of a TV show I have ever read! You can't describe the show better than this :D
Don't spend a single moment watching this travesty. Lasted 15 mins into first episode and all I wanted to do was sue King for compensation for the strenuous work I put in watching it for that long. Potential to be good if they scrap what they are doing now. Recast and start over from a better script. Watch something else.
Never read the book, but I liked the movie. This.. this is just bad.
That pilot sucked……the movie was phenomenal , this crap is gonna make it look bad
If you were looking for a show that is worse than the Big Bang Theory, look no further. If you thought the laugh track on TBBT was great, then you are going to love this show. Some of the most pathetic forced "humour" I've ever seen, the writers of this show should be ashamed.
Procedural. I hate procedurals. That case-of-the-week format just does not work for me. APB has an interesting premise but fails to execute on anything remotely edgy. They are going the safe route and in today's TV world that is extremely boring and unoriginal. The characters are bland and utterly forgetful, dialogue is written as throw away lines and the world they created eerily lacks depth and realism. Good television allows you to get lost in it. APB is just too detached from reality, which can be a good thing when you tell the story of people being stranded on a magic island after an airplane crash. Being detached from reality for a cop show is not good. Therefore I doubt this show will see a second or even the backend of its first season.
The best comedy that debuted this fall. Definitely not for average viewers though. It will be a critical darling, but unfortunately not a hit.
I feel conflicted any time I'm motivated to criticize a "day in the life" show like this. It's just rather boring. Each episode is what may be simply 2 characters' layered drama/dynamic in a more complex and compelling series. Just watching people talk about their daily lives isn't really why I watch TV, particularly when it's not shooting for anything deep or witty. After 2 episodes I decided to watch the rest at 2x the speed because I'm not missing anything and I don't plan to remember much if any of it when I'm done.
Mmm... I'd rather they bring back Constantine.
Dropped it after the first season, sure it may not be the worst show or sure it may not even be bad but for me at least it felt pretty boring and repeditive after a while.
terrible depiction of what the Antichrist would be like
