Alien universe film order:

2. Alien: Covenant (2017)
3. Alien (1979)
4. Aliens (1986)
5. Alien 3 (1992)
6. Alien: Resurrection (1997)
Spin-off franchise:

- Alien vs. Predator: Requiem (2007)
The acting is impeccable and the cinematography and directing is truly memorising. However it all feels wasted on such a long, overdrawn and predictable story line. I found myself waiting for it all to end, which it does eventually, just how you thought it would.
God, I still hate Lori
This episode literally felt like a PARODY.... That is not a good thing
If you enjoy good storytelling, quality world building and interesting characters you will not find anything of the sort in this show.
Nah, I'm out. The Chinese version, while lower budget, was better. This is more drama/relationships/love nonsense.
I guess Netflix Fans will enjoy it.
TV shows fans: "man that 'Battle of Winterfel' episode was so dark, I couldn't see sh¡t for like 90% of the episode. I mean, the white WALKERS scene in the hallways was a bunch of blurs running on the screen... "
The Walking Dead se10ep9: "Hold my beer"
So they turned Muad'Dib into edward scissorhands in a desert. They dragged the story on and on with endless slow mo and flash forwards. Dissapointing, the cinematography and soundtrack was brilliant but thats all. 5/10 is generous. Ive read the books and watched all the dune tv shows and the 1984 movie and i would recommend them as a must watch before this.
The directors clearly think Naomi is the most interesting character, but she is absolutely the least interesting character and I abhor constantly being forced to watch her whine and flail.
I love the end - but it is not like it would be an accomplishment to the TV Show, they took it from the book and removed so much that it barely makes any sense.
All the political tension is basically removed and replaced with "why are we even discussing this". Not to mention the fact that they completly left out how Inaros fleet got destroyed.
That was really important, because the way they did it, the physics they used in the books (The rings make matter disappear when there is more than a certain amount in transit at the same time) was the reason Earth and Mars actually agreed that a trade union controlling passage through the rings was necessary.
It would have been hard enough to do this properly in 10 Episodes, doing it in 6 was impossible. Too much of the source material has been left out without patching the holes.
Its heartbreaking and not in a good way...
Slow and boring, pretentious BS with great visuals and BGM. Good cast wasted. Cliché! Weird doesn't mean it's good or unique or a cult classic.. A waste of time IMO.
Arrakis=Middle east, Spice=Oil, Other houses=White men fighting for the oil:joy:
Please no more scenes with Naomi. You have an entire universe so why do you have to focus so much on the most boring character of the show.
Season 5 was going so well but this episode was terrible... complete filler with Naomi going back and forward to tweak the automated recording, something that could have been summarized in 2-3 minutes. The recording was really starting to get on my nerves and so was Naomi's overacting. I truly hope the show gets back on its tracks on the next two episodes.
One of the worst, if not the worst episode of the season. This show needs to stop.
3 episodes in...
First episode was 6/10,
2nd episode 8/10,
3rd episode 10/10
Glad I stuck it out during the first episode as this is turning into a really good show.
Season 2 looks like it's already in the bag. Can't wait to see it.
Update:
Season 2 was even better, right from the beginning. 10/10.
Season 3 looks great as well!
Waiting for the Final: Final Season Part X. I mean there is not much air time from here to the actual end, maybe a movie?
I think they could've easily end this anime this season but seems like they gonna milk it all the way boys.
Seems like a real big set up, and they better deliver or this is going to be all the bigger disappointment.
This is a animated comic, not an anime. So don't go in expecting more than a slideshow, but it's a damn good slideshow.
I'm sure fans of the manga are disappointed, I was when I saw how lackluster Dr.Stone's anime was, but the lack of animation still works cause the comedy is so god damn god. The main visuals come across well enough and the formula of former Yakuza doing normal thing but making it look like Yakuza thing is absolutely incredible. I constantly laughed & my big complaint was that the show has so few episodes, I wanted more. I haven't read the manga but I'm definitely going to at some point now, if fans of the manga were disappointed in this, then I am very, very excited to read the manga, cause this is a real fun watch
For such a small timing it is very difficult to bring a new idea to the viewer. No episode is no exception. The series - a mixture of vague statements and banal scenes. Nothing new, these works did not give me personally.
It was another great Slice of Life. On first look it seems a bit childish but as you go further you'll see it's definitely not.
All the CGI were very well developed and animation was top notch. Story is a bit weird though.
I'll definitely recommend this one.
Edit: Season 2 was a bit on the down side but it was still entertaining.
RIP Hana Kimura.
This season is cursed.
2/10 too much sand.
In all seriousness, it was decent. I'm not really sure how much I enjoyed it though. I enjoyed the final act, and I was intrigued in the first act, but the middle part of the movie I did not enjoy all that much. If I had watched this movie while tired I'd have probably fallen asleep half way through. It's certainly beautiful to look at, and the sound is fantastic. But the pacing is definitely quite slow (not necessarily a bad thing) and I came away feeling as though there wasn't really all that much substance. Perhaps after watching a sequel I'll feel differently.
After 5 episodes i still have no idea what this is about :’)
This is my advice : just watch season 1 and stop.
The rest of the manga and anime are going to suck real bad.
The worst episode so far. Bad plot, bad acting.
Is really a joke.
Love seeing Isabella’s return to the story. The soldiers who attacked their shelter seemed pretty dumb though.
