Does this mean the phone company killed Kennedy?
My favorite entry in the Rocky franchise.
One thing about these old B movies is that they took it seriously and didn't make themselves into a joke just because it's low budget. I miss that approach.
I liked the first one but this one was too Star Warzy. Just not my cup of tea.
It's hard to believe a Fritz Lang movie could be this underrated.
I always thought Airplane was a spoof on Airport ......until I saw this.
An odd mix of talkie and silent highlighted by the great (pre-confined) Lionel Barrymore.
An incoherent trainwreck...at best.
What was that ending all about then?
Quite funny and entertaining but it's very difficult to get past the recasting of Pa Kettle.
As a lover of bad movies(apparently, so I'm told) this movie is so pitiful I couldn't recommend it to anyone. And no it's not so bad it's good, it's so bad it's terrible. It makes Asylum movies look like masterpieces.
That Indian dress up scene is absolutely hysterical.
"We all go a little mad sometimes."
Now that's a horrible watch.
TCMs transfer is in desperate need of restoration. Not too bad of a crime drama but it's hard to follow because of the film quality.
But the jokes wearing thin, let the audience OUT! Let YOUR opera END.
This episode Hitch goes Noir.
I really enjoy these movies with the practical special effects. They are so creative compared to modern CGI. I also like the nods to the Universal Monster movies. The addition of John Carradine was a nice touch.
What a incoherent trainwreck. Boo
It's like Stranger Things meets Ghostbusters. I rather enjoyed this and I don't even like Ghostbusters. I've seen them all because my wife is a fan but this is the first one I can say I enjoyed.
Janet Blake: Please come right away. This is the zoo speaking.
Dr. Garth: The what? The zoo?
Janet Blake: Ja! One of our elephants is seeing pink men!
I feel that one thing needs to be cleared up regarding the score. This film did NOT have a score. The only music was in the opening credits and the theater scene. A score was done in 1998 and the 1999 VHS release came with that score. DVDs and Blu-rays allow you to watch either way you wish.
"This is the part I really like, when she does that shit with her hair."
Solid mad scientist movie from Fox.
Generally I don't care for ghost movies but I liked this one. Much better than I expected.
Yeah I didn't see that coming. A very Hitchcock like flick.
Also known as Night Creatures
It just didn't click with me. By the end there wasn't a single character I cared about.
He went for a little walk, you should have seen the look on his face!!
I didn't hate it as much as most but boy could this movie have used a slice of cheese.
