Echo

Echo leaps bravely into place, daring to tread a path reminiscent of the gritty Netflix Marvel streets we all fell in loved with.

The raw, brutal, hard-hitting series deeply rooted in Native American culture offers a refreshing shift from the extravagant, CGI-heavy narratives of recent MCU releases.

Its TV-MA rating allows for a darker tone and sets an exciting precedent for the anticipated Daredevil: Born Again series currently in production.

Marvel Studios Echo gets it done, delivering a strong character-driven story that also honors differently abled people as well as the Choctaw Nation.

Supernatural

With clever dialogue and two incredibly-charismatic leads, "Supernatural" rises above most of its genre competition.

Supernatural continues to be one of my favorite shows on television/streaming.

It’s not just the dialogue that's clever, it’s also the way it’s delivered perfectly by each character that makes the it work as well as it does. None of this would be possible without the sensitive, emotional, subtle, and often hilarious performances of Jared Ackles and Jared Padalecki.

It was a show that knew how to expertly balance the overarching plot with monster-of-the-week stories that kept you wanting more.

The Winchesters

I feel the CW has become very censored in being viewer friendly. This would be better developed on a streaming service with the current state of that company.

Supernatural had an edge and darkness to it, but The Winchesters can feel almost juvenile and underdeveloped at times.

I started watching Supernatural when I was 15, and I still love it. It’s been great having a spin-off and seeing this universe live on but damn! Age up the dialogue

Please drop a “son of a bitch” somewhere in the script!

Fallout

Fallout is just a damn good sci-fi series, regardless of the lore that already exists.

The series can stand on its own as a brilliant take on the inequities of survival, the constant evils of capitalism, and why you should always have a good dog by your side.

Fallout

Fallout is somehow both the best “mystery” show — with multiple twists, clues, and reveals — but it’s also one of the funniest sci-fi shows in a long time.

Season 2 can’t come soon enough!

The Girls on the Bus

It’s been a while since MAX (formerly HBO Max) released an original show that I’ve actually liked.

That’s finally changed though. The Girls on the Bus is incredibly enjoyable to watch. The talent and chemistry amongst the cast is magic. Melissa Benoist shines in every scene she’s in.

Veronica Mars

Veronica Mars is an excellent. Filled with creatively snarky characters that make Veronica Mars shine with her intelligent quick quips.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The jokes, my god, the jokes—every syllable is dead on the comic beat. They’re bitter and bright as a stiff gin cocktail.

WandaVision

The best thing to come from phase 4 by far. An ode to television that's told in such a unique way.

Marvel maintains their ability of creating relatable characters by humanizing emotions.

Wanda's journey of grief is on point and provides the audience a teachable moment that one is never truly without it.
