This has a great premise and the possibility of being a great show, but if the Brits were doing it they'd make it spectacular and in 8 episodes or less. This is a typical American "how-can-we-drag-a-short-story-into-5-season-before-killing-it-unexpectedly” show waiting to happen. I want to love it, but it just drags on and on. 6/10
Update - someone put a bullet in the back of it's head... about 4 episodes too late. Painfull to watch the further along it went.
It's a really well done show. I just don't care about it. It's nothing they've done wrong. All the parts are there but Loki is just a character who is somehow less interesting than Iron Man or any of the avengers outside of Hulk preMCU. This is like the opposite of Hawkeye where there was a character I didn't like but the show was very engaging and made me care for it. Loki is ostensibly a better show, bigger budget, longer runtime, more big names in the cast but, ehh.
It's all well put together and in the end I just still don't care.
I would have rated this drama 8.5/10 and most of it comes from how much I loved the chemistry between this two guys, that was real good low-key-cuteness ( did you see the last twenty minutes of the finale? bromance overload ) !! Don't hate on me for liking this remake because I haven't watched the original series and my opinion is only taking into account k-drama standards.
Alot darker then I thought it was going to be which I'm glad it did. Felt like AHS had a baby with Riverdale. I can't wait for season 2
