It is kind of disappointing they didn’t do more to save Andy, especially with how adamant Piper was for Leo the episode before. Why not make the time loop happen again, and then break it? With Andy alive? I don’t know, guess they really wanted some character death for the season finale.
Wonder if Prue saying he will always be with them is some kind of foreshadowing, but it probably ain’t lol.
That whole last scene with The Chain ? chef kiss. I love this show's soundtrack.
Even though I hate Marissa, this was a very beautiful and sad episode.
"You lost a lot of blood. The doctors don't think you're gonna make it".
Huh? After he has been stabilized in a hospital, survived the first 24 hours, and regained conciousness? Not because of organ damage, but... because he lost a lot of blood? Are you kidding me!???
Roy mouthing along to "Let It Go" was the perfect 3s touch.
what the hell am I supposed to do with myself now I've just seen the most romantic scene to ever air on tv
"We speak. We haven't talked in years and you know it." -Max to Michael Good line
Ending was gripping. I love when I can feel Julie Plec's touch on this.
Richard: I doubt we'll meet again
Lady Grantham: Do you promise?
I just XDDDDDDD I laughed for like 5 minutes straight istg XDDDDD Almost coughed my lungs out from laughing XDDDD
Oliver is so annoying... the whole arc is boring.
Marissa is super annoying and she has a pattern, she has a boyfriend and starts to flirt with someone else and then drives the boyfriend away and plays the victim... worst character ever
Xander: Don't even try to deny it......
Xander, baby, she does not owe you any explanations!
I love Drusilla. 10 pounds of nuts stuffed into a 2 pound bag.
I totally wanted Johanne with Jonas in the first season, even if I hated the way they had to end, so this makes me happy!
Reading all the comments is depressing. This show is not about drama or being interesting to watch. It is about making a comment on society.
The build up was obviously to get us attached and interested in the characters. Maybe even make us question if this kind of "relationship" is OK. They made it purposely vague by making him right at the edge of the age of consent.
Climax was obviously when Claire gets caught. We are now at the point where they are exploring the consequences of this kind of trauma. The point of the time jump is because sometimes you don't always realize the effects of the trauma until much later, especially when the trauma occurred when you are young. We are seeing Nick be glorified and focused on because of his trauma because unfortunately society does not look at it as a trauma, hence why they made this show to begin with. He is OBVIOUSLY struggling and being re-traumatized over and over. He doesn't actually miss her, its a form of a trauma bond. He needs to talk to someone but he also needs to be ready to talk to someone. I'm just hoping he is ready before he gets hurt more severely.
And everyone out there thinking he is loyal, envious of him, or thinking this show is boring is obviously missing the point of this entire show.
That FBI agent is making me damn nervous.
Finally Lukas is not a complete asshole anymore. He was so annoying until now! He still has a lot of work to do if he wants to make it up to Philip (and everyone else, because he behaved like a total douche), but at least it looks like he is trying now.
If you stop and think about it for a second the alien prison storyline is the most heartbreaking thing ever, seven decades and they were so close to their family and they never knew, also lets use this as a reminder that people leaving their home in search of a safer life don’t belong in cages!!!
Well, this was the final nail in the coffin for me: I despise Lord Grantham with all my being.
Cora is absolutely right; Sybil is dead because him and Sir Philip were too arrogant to admit that Doctor Clarkson knew better. Their dominant stubbornness killed Sybil. Robert killed his own goddamn daughter because he refused to listen to the doctor, all so he wouldn’t offend Sir Philip. And all because he didn’t want to listen to any medical explanations as he thought it was “vulgar” to discuss the female body.
And when she died? He didn’t even shed a tear. He didn’t even really seem to care. He’s a horridly selfish and utterly disgusting person. I can’t believe I used to love him in the first season, because he’s been a prideful, narcissistic, sexist, selfish pig for a while now. But this final act of him causing Sybil’s death really killed just any love I might have still had for him. I’m just done with him.
This is where I finally bow out. I don't mind suspending disbelief but they've become really lazy and are taking liberties now.
Angel: "What's going on? -- Were you in Virginia?"
Wesley: "That's beside the point."
Blink and you'll miss it.
I really liked this episode. In which Angel does not have to sing. In which Wesley gets to play bodyguard to the Sonicare Tooth Fairy's hot redheaded daughter. In which Wesley has sex with said daughter. Both Buffy and Angel seem to be getting a lot hornier right now, and it's not a bad thing, since it's actually pretty hot... as long as it's not Buffy and Reilly . Boreanaz and Julie Benz have great onscreen chemistry, though, and so did Alexis and guest star Brigid Brannagh. Oh, snap, she's in four episodes. Nice.
7.5 imposters out of 10
Max and Rosa are right, all season long Liz has been so stressed out and acting like everybody’s mom. And did anyone notice that Rosa is walking around town and the cafe like it’s nothing??? Pretending to be cousin Rosalinda and not even bothering with a new look or anything.
I’m so disappointed cause I thought the abductions were something alien related but it turns out it was all Helena and Flint, imagine having an alien show just for your great villain to be the mad latina woman who can’t get over her former lover.
Nah, I’m sorry, but Branson is literally such a major red flag. He’s incredibly pushy and self-assured; his pursuit of Sybil hasn’t in the least bit been romantic or gentle. He’s basically just said “you’re in love with me” and called it a day. Nothing in Sybil’s actions should have let him to make such bold statements, but he did so anyway, and he’s gaslighting her into agreeing with him.
But honestly? What has he really done that’s been so great that she should leave her family, friends and life for him? He’s been pretty aggressive in the way he’s talked to her, he’s demeaned all of her hard work she’s done as a nurse, and he’s just been all-around unpleasant. I truly cannot stand him, actually. And Sybil certainly deserves much better…
Just because he’s from a low social class that doesn’t mean he’s suddenly a good person. If one of the nobles talked like he did, we’d all hate him! But now suddenly people love him? Just because he’s poor? I don’t get it.
I absolutely love Blackbeard (Ed) and Stede together. What a pair. This must be the best flipping pirate show on the planet :joy::joy::joy:
Blair's and Chuck's manipulation and abuse of their money is almost excusable, which they are definitely NOT , since they're at least aware of their excesses and privilege. Meanwhile, Serena van der Woodsen wants to be oppressed SO BAD! Dan is too good for her. I cannot believe Serena values what she acknowledges to be a high school relationship over, not only her mom's romantic life, but their home and family life! Although I do not understand why Lily's only options are either Dan or Bart (like can't you just stay blissfully single and sort your feelings out), I hate how Serena expects her mom, and consequently her whole family, and Dan to suffer and/or make sacrifices for her security only to deny "special treatment". G o s h !
Another hilarious Spike scene, with Spike changing his story to Dawn midway through because Buffy entered the room:
Buffy: “Let’s hear the story that Spike is telling my little sister.”
Spike: “Right, yeah. So, uh, I knew the girl was in the coal bin. So, I rip it open, very violent, haul her out of there and then give her to a good family, in a nice home (Buffy rolls her eyes), where they’re never mean to her and didn’t lock her in the coal bin.”
Nice acting as Spike was by turns empathetic, sympathetic, yet also disagreeably creepy (offering to kill Dru for Buffy if she says she feels something; tying her up; arguing that women marry serial killers in prison.) But as sick and screwed up as Spike is, who wouldn't feel bad at the look on his face when she uninvited him out of her house?
I WOULD BURN THE ENTIRE WORLD DOWN FIRST.
Why did you do that? Why? Just why?
(note: Sybill's my fav)
Even though I despise Thomas, I still want him to find the right person...
NOOOOOOO!!! I swear, if Robert is going to have an affair with this maid I will RIOT!:sob:
The absolute glow-up on The Swede
worst episode so far, just infuriating…!!
