A decent enough finale for what was a mediocre season of television.
I was impressed by the first two episodes but it's starting to drag a little. I'm still invested but the episodes are so fucking long and there are too many storylines and locations to be handled well and satisfactorily.
It's been a while since I've been as glued to the screen as I was while watching this episode. Everyone gives amazing performances but Rhea's acting in the first act was too brilliant. Some of the best I've ever seen. She deserves all the awards. This show has surpassed Breaking Bad for me and has solidified its identity beyond a mere prequel/spin-off.
A solid season finale with plenty of twists and unexpected moments, few of which honestly didn't land quite well. Also the story overall doesn't seem to have progressed much from the beginning of the season. The whole plot with Homelander being a ticking bomb is starting to meander and I hope they resolve in the next season.
Amazing! So much happened in this episode. The characters arcs and turns have been amazing.
Genuinely one of the most horrifying death I've ever witnessed in a TV show. The entire final sequence is scarier than most horror movies these days.
