33x04 Nuptials and a New House

Tired of living in a cramped condo, Justine Spinelli and D.J. Callaghan are an engaged couple ready to tackle the buyers' market just outside Boston, Massachusetts. They're anxious to find a house that's in turnkey condition. Additionally, the two want a location that is close to the train station for D.J.?s commute to work and that will cut down on Justine?s 50 minute drive to work everyday.

Contractors Jay and Paula Powell are true nomads and currently between homes. They?re staying in their friends? vacation home in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and are anxious to move onto something permanent. Although they love the home's outdoor deck and proximity to the water, space is limited. The Powells are looking for a large, classically styled home and preferably one that is older and needs improvement so they can do the renovation.

Chris and Allison Larthey lucked into a brand new townhouse three years ago in Blackwood, New Jersey, near Philadelphia. It was a perfect situation, until they both landed jobs far from Blackwood. Chris now drives an hour to work and Allison drives almost twice that. So they've begun looking for a single family home with at least three bedrooms, a nice backyard and plenty of living space where long commutes will be a thing of the past.
