Ziva (heart)
and Ducky is also cool :)
I basically binged this entire series. I enjoy cop-shows, but this outshines nearly any out there.
Only a few get close. Banshee being one.
There are very few weak episodes in this series.
Season 6 is a bit too graphical for my taste, but at least its a very good and proper ending and gives a close to basically all story lines.
Very enjoyable.
Woke report: the woke virus had not hit us yet when this series was made. So no crazy woke crap.
Must say that I am happy with the final episode. All of season 6 around bad-guy version of Coulson was b.s. and there were definitely some dreadfully bad episodes, but also several pretty cool ones. Overal not a bad series and one of the better Marvel series.
That last "season" should not have been made. Oh my God its totally shite. And why? Some black-washing spin-off or re-do or something? Terrible. I had this series at 9 out of 10, but unfortunately they havent been able to keep up the quality of the first 3 season's. Still, it remained quite good.... but that last season should not have been made. the last episode of the second-last season was a great goodbye to all characters and brought the story to a close. And then someone decided lets make a new series and try to cash-in on the popularity of Once Upon a Time..... terrible. So. My advice: enjoy this series and DO NOT watch a single second of the last season.
I really enjoy this show, the humor is top notch, and a good amount of action.
I loved the first episodes of season 1... but season 2 really got to a high level of WTF...
I enjoyed season 1 a lot. Season 2 got weirder and weirder and also less good for my taste, it seemed like halfway season 2 they were out of storyline and just started to make things up as they got along week by week. Season 3 was pure agony to get through with this whole city of light bullcrap. I really hope season 4 will regain the former flow. Something that would help would be to get rid of Jaha for good. Any storyline involving him is annoying and tedious.
If you love Arrow, then sure, watch this.... more of the same. Just with even worse acting.
It's a mix of Guardians of the Galaxy and Arrow. With Guardians of the Galaxy being the worst of all Marvel movies in my opinion.. and this isnt any better. Actually, it's far worse.
DC has never been my favorite, not even Batman or Superman.
Every time it's being confirmed again.
There are a few fun references in the series here and there (best one sofar being Wentworth Miller saying 'this is not my first prison break'), but where in The Flash it's often good for a laugh or two, here its mostly just disappointing.
The most annoying thing about the series is the continous "lessons" about how we all have to help each other, that we can do things better if we allow for others to help us and how we have to believe in ourselves and dont dwell in the past, but look into the future and blablalabla. Every.Single.Episode. Over and over again. And sooooo incredibly over the top.
The only positive thing about this series is Sarah (since Sarah > Laurel).
On the other hand, one of the most negatives from The Flash, being Martin Stein - who absolutely cant act - is also in this series.
And of course that hawk-goddess isnt much of an actress either, as we've seen already in the Arrow/Flash mashup. I really dont get it why the producers still got her onto this show after that dramatic acting performance. In this series she continues that sub-par acting performance. Just like Stein.
Ever since that annoying character Astra was introduced, the series went downhill fast. Spooner made things even worse.
Season 6/7 went totally overboard. Not very strange the series got cancelled.
Too bad that it did not get a proper ending. Season 7 episode 12 * COULD * have been a proper ending to the series albeit a bit disappointing ending. But it could have been and should have been.
Now the series remains open ended, no proper finale.
I've enjoyed this series a lot, each season has its own distinct set, characters and a small set of main issues. Season 5 was a bit less good, season 6 was omg dreadful. It was slow and nearly painful to get through season 6. And then came....... season 7. In 1 word: WOW. Loved it. They totally aced that season. Ok, the tiny plothole still occurred here and there, but at least its not a total insult to everyone's intelligence (compared to for example the utterly retardedness in Blindspot). Season 6 was a good basis for the events in season 7, so you cannot really skip season 6 altogether, but I postponed getting into season 7 as I was not expecting a huge improvement over the endless drama of the previous season. Praise the Lord, my expectations were too low :-)
final episode was a bit disappointing to my taste, but at least not as dreadfully bad as DEXTER.
oh well, we have closure. tnx.
One of my most favourite shows, great sarcasm, wits, very smart/intelligent, great personalities and hell I'd love to be like Harvey :)
I very much enjoyed this show; feels a lot like The Librarians, but the chemistry between the lead actors is better, the humor is better and ... well the whole show is just better.
I very much enjoyed the first few seasons. Great fun and almost like watching a behind the scenes of the Trump precidency screwing up everything possible to be screwed up. Then at some point in season 5 or 6 it all became just too much hate, really like watching the Trump administration.
Selina was at first a little bit of a narcissistic screw-up of a underdog that you sort-off still wanted to root for. Then she became more and more that c-word and non-stop treating everyone like garbage. Then it became too much. I just started to strongly disliking her, especially the way she was treating her daughter... the showrunners probably should have given her at least a little bit of humanity still... too bad they didnt. I believe that is what killed this series eventually. Season 6 was very weak.
On the plus side, at least season 7 brought us a proper and good closing of the series.
Poor Gary.
Amazing cast, superb acting.
Really superb show. It has many elements from many shows I enjoy, but putting them all together in the mix it comes out totally unique. Closest resembling show might be Dark Matter; which is not a bad thing :)
stunningly good series. It's a totally new interpretation of Jack Ryan and his road to fame within the CIA, loosely based on the original novels and unrelated to any movie or whatever. I enjoyed season 1 a lot. It's graphical and definitely worth a R rating for all that can lead to it. Looking forward to season 2 and 3 (season 3 has already been confirmed before season 2 finished shooting)
Discovery is the worst Star Trek so far. All of the over-the-top wannebe political correctness that governs our current day society has been stuck in just this one series. A woman in the lead role - fine with me. But why to give her a male name? So that we show that its fine to not be a woman or a man? And of course a gay relationship has to be part of the main story line. And a refuge that is fighting for his oppressed people. And a disturbed brother-sister relation. And augmentations to the body for - well, whatever reason. And body-shaming. And the challenges of not accepting your own body. And a relationship of a white woman with a alien husband, she went to live with him to his place, with a mixed DNA child not being accepted by society and then adopting another kid with....... oh my God, please, is it really all necessary to be stuck into the series in such an over the top way?? Season 2 at least does not have a lot of those fake Klingons anymore. That was the worst of all, even being untrue to the original Star Trek Klingons. I'm still watching the series, but I hope it will stop trying to be so extremely endless wannebe politically correct. At times its nauseating.
This series is a serious hidden gem and so far I have been honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed this. Only saw first 8 episodes of season 1 and I can only hope they will be able to keep up the quality.
It's slow paced, but.... wow, quite amazing. Steve Martin is less Steve and Selena is a whole lot less Selena. Superb!
The chemistry between the unlikely partners in crime is superb.
Here and there it goes a bit into over-acting and crazyness overdrive, but usually they manage to keep it in the acceptable range and I can even smile about it :-
I am very curious to how they will manage to extend this story into a second (and even third) season.
my God... episodes are getting worse and worse and worse.
Season 4 is really a total disappointment.
I hope they will make an end to the series soon, before it gets cancelled without a proper ending :(
Acting seems to be going downhill, even by the regulars in the cast, conversations are so predictable they hardly have to say anything anymore at all anyway and this whole Messiah crap is really getting to me (Frank Herbert, anyone?). Seems the creators are totally out of inspiration and have started copying random other series and movies and throwing it into a mixer and then hope for a proper story coming out of it. That is definitely a fail.... they really should have brought an end to this series at season 3, instead of dragging a great series on and on into oblivion.
season 1 and 2 were superb, now it's just stretching things thin :(
great show!
I was thinking about rating a 9 or 10, but decided that I cant really think of much to improve in this series so I stick with a 10.
some plot twists you can see coming a mile away, but.... most of them really caught me off guard.
one of the best series on my watchlist for sure.
I loved season 1.
Season 2 with this endless b.s. about book of leaves started to be annoying and was a huge change from season 1.
Season 3 was just crap. Not a good change from how interesting season 1 was.
The series finished and it has a real ending (and better at least then Dexter ;) ).
At least there is an ending to the series. But there are too many parallels to Dexter.
What a disappointing last season. What a predictable and terrible crap ending. At least the final scenes of the fake-movie are added that give things a somewhat nice ending.
But after the great and inventive writing of the first seasons, this is all just one big disappointment.m
I loved this show. Season 1 and 2 were superb. Too bad it all went to sh*t after that. The going back in time and creating alternate timelines was the worst they could do to this series. Really a shame, would have enjoyed to watch more of season 1/2 quality.
Season 4 became a retarded kids series. At least, first half. Second half was a bit better, but then the series already got canceled. Anyway, at least it has a proper ending.
The series never got above the quality of the movies and Warehouse 13 is definitely the best of the two. But it's pretty good entertainment overall.
I really hope they finish the show with a movie, like they did with Firefly
or continue the show by creating some movies, like they did for SG-1
Season 1 started a bit slow and I was not sure in what way it would develop. With all the superhero movies and series going on, I was a bit sceptic if yet another series would be worth my time. Then I watched the linked series Jessica Jones and Daredevil more or less side by side. Not bad; I enjoyed it. Jessica Jones was a bit too much drama and too much psycho stuff for my taste, but my g.f. enjoyed it a lot with the strong woman in the lead and heck, overall I can say that it didn't bore me :)
Now season 2 has come and I just finished watching the last episode. It's been feeling a bit repetitive in the last few episodes and also extremely predictable. I wont give any spoilers, but the ending I could really see coming a mile away, even the side story about Frank and how everything comes together again at the end. Not extremely bad, considering it's a series and not a movie, but it could have been a tad little bit less totally obvious what would be happening. Some unexpected plot turns is what keeps things interesting... this season did not have any.
Also one additional point of criticism is that season 2 has become way too graphic. Cutting off hands, ripping throats, pulling out eyes, cutting into prisoners legs, very grapich torture on just about every single episode, putting Sai's into bad guys eyes... etc. Too much guys! Not needed to try to gross people out completely. Turn it down a notch please, ok?
However, I'm still looking forward to season 3 and the -sooner or later to be expected- formation of the Defenders. But I guess that wont be until at least 2017 as we're still lacking the introduction of Iron Fist, as far as I know. I dont believe this to be a spoiler, as most fans know about it and else a quick look around Google will tell you the (Netflix) Defenders being Daredevil, Jessico Jones, Lucas Cage(from Jessica Jones), Ironfist.
At least a series with a proper ending.
Not something all streaming series get.
Far from a happy ending though.
Overall it's a decent series.
This series is very much carried by Dafne Keen and Ruth Wilson.
Acting by Amir Wilson / Will Parry is dreadful. He has just one facial expression and that's it.
Story wise the motivation of 'lord Ariel' is not worked out properly. The same goes for the 100% turn around in just a few episodes of how 'Marisa Coulter' treats her daughter. Not believable enough.
Every season somewhere in the middle the story gets very weak and/or goes completely off the rails. Season 3 is no exception.
But again, at least it got a proper ending.
season 1 : great.
season 2 : shite
season 3 : superb!
Too bad it ended after the third season, though it's understandable that the inspiration and stories were done.
I SERIOUSLY hated the ending. So sad. Good that it got cancelled. Season 3 was crap, season 2 was so-so. Basically they should have stopped at season 1 - which was great.
