Funny how the whole world broke out in Dinosaurs when only a couple were let free in the last movie. Plus a lot of the dinosaurs on the loose weren’t species that were let go in the last movie.
It’s nice that there’s a raptor with feathers. Though, why ? A couple of dinosaurs were let loose and raptors suddenly look how they are supposed to ?
There’s a little too many heroes and it never felt like any were in danger. The movie needed more villains with guns to be eaten.
With that said it was nice to see the Jurassic Park characters team with the Jurassic World characters. Though all they really get to do is run away from dinosaurs together. While saying that they know each other’s work.
People here often tend to be a bit entitled that's why you see many bad reviews and comments.
It was a good movie, enjoyable and had a lot of good scenes. You most definitely will not get bored of of it.
I really dont understand all the hate. I loved this movie, it was amazing
It was Ok, nothing more.
Thought thou, was the baddi boss man supposed to be Tim Cook?
I see the Jurassic world added some token black people lol
I could barely pay attention
This was really good, solid 7/10. I don't know what others watched. This was better than Fallen Kingdom and a good way to end the new trilogy, as a fan of dinosaurs and the Jurassic Park/World... World.. Its a thumbs up from me.
It felt more of a nostalgia push than a solid smart blockbuster. Don't get me wrong, I loved seeing the old vs. the new, but maybe there was too much focus on being iconic again. The cgi also felt like it could have been a lot better, and if it was as good as they could get, then they didn't show it enough. Also, the casting for the new people (not OGs) was terrible. Nonetheless, it's a dino movie with fun action and big spectacles, so I'll want more of it forever.
I mean it's dinosaurs chasing people. It had a few throwback scenes but overall it's what you'd expect.
+1 for old but gold characters only. And in general - simple movie, a bit weaker than the previous parts. The final battle is boring and very short, not interesting and exciting
Finally watched this movie. Although the concept is the same as always, the mix of old and new generation it’s just sentiment that makes it nice and fun to watch. There are some scenes that winks at previous movies, really liked that small detail.
God was that bad.
Jurassic World Insect would have been the right title.
I miss the energy of the first part, the refreshing sci-fi elements and of course the dinosaurs.
It was as if an AI had remixed the biblical plague of locusts with Wolverine and Jurassic World elements
I very much enjoyed the movie. At least it was about dinosaurs again. And great to see this reunion. They did that quite well. Lots of winks to the earlier movies and some other movies.
The bridge that Masie crosses, looks a whole lot like the one from A Quiet Place. At least from memory.
Sure there were some scenes that do not make a lot of sense, but its forgiveable.
My only true complaint is little to no John Williams music. There was a half hint to the theme of Jurassic Parc, but not enough
Wow. This is...not good. Way too long and way too stupid. Seriously, who approved the final script for this one? Other than the occasional bit of humor, it is an absolute mess. How can you be entirely derivative and still screw it up this badly?
This one is alot more cerebral than the other films in this trilogy. It focuses alot on conservation and ecological issues.
This was another cash-grab movie. It's a shame that I thought it was worth watching, and also that I didn't record that I've watched it so I've ended up watching it again. I will be sure not to make a third watch. It has a lot of big name potential but it doesn't deliver with the story they are given.
I am super disappointed with this film.
Should be called. Jurassic World:Boring ass story about cloned girl nobody asked for.
Far more accurate.
**Don’t waste your time on this trash **
So... are accents in our DNA? How come a girl who spent 4 years with Claire and talks with the British accent?
I liked it. It was very entertaining and with all those moments bringing the first movie to this one. I found a couple of editing mistakes, but I think that is an ever present thing in action movies. I like to think this is the definitie ending for both trilogies.
I'm a bit torn on this one. The first half was just bad. Badly written, and needlessly long. The second half was better, even entertaining in some parts. But it's being carried by the old cast all the way.
So many cliches. I liked.
Two generations come together to save the world in Jurassic World: Dominion. When Maisie Lockwood is kidnapped from Owen and Claire and sold to a genetics lab, they attempt to rescue her; meanwhile Ellie Sattler works with her old friend Alan Grant try to track a genetically engineered insect that’s threatening the world’s food supply. The writers do some serious reconning to give Maisie a whole new backstory and importance, and to change the few dozen dinosaurs that escaped the Lockwood auction into hundreds (which can now breed somehow). And as a result, the story doesn’t feel like a continuation of the series. However, the action scenes and dinosaur chases are incredibly intense and exciting. Also, it’s kind of a treat to see the old and new casts come together. Yet while it’s entertaining and has its moments, Jurassic World: Domination is a disappointing film that doesn’t really add much to the series.
Lots of outrageous action in exotic locations all over the world. And science, kinda.... did I just watch another Mission Impossible movie?
4/10
Nah didn't work for me this one, on for to long and a boring story and that teenager girl I found so annoying, she made the movie even more of a slog to grind through.
Her acting was awful and you could tell she's been in about two movie roles,
This and the previous
Movie.
This movie never quite worked out
what it wanted to be, so ended just being
Bland and forgettable.
Half way through I was expecting the
Mission impossible
Theme to kick in.
It was all a jumbled mess
With I don't know
Stuff just happening
And people just doing stuff straight from
the left field that made absolutely no sense.
Yes we had the
Old meets New thing at the end but that was one element in a movie I had no care for or feelings about at that point.
Verdict: stop now..just
Stop and understand when
Everything has it's time
And runs it's course.
It should be one hour shorter. Pretty much forgettable.
Yet another sequel that didn't need to be made and served no purpose. A lot of this movie didn't make a damn bit of sense, and it seemed like after sitting through over 2 1/2 hours, we were back where we started at the beginning after the contrived plot about super locusts was solved. The dinosaurs seemed like an afterthought through a lot of the movie, and other than the obligatory fights, they were just kind of there. The only saving grace was the cinematography, which was fantastic. John Schwartzman really created some memorable visual moments on the screen.
If you like dinosaur movies about insects, this is for you.
What a train wreck.
Last one I hope ?’
It's so sad and such a disappointment to see the original cast reunited for the worst movie (so far) in the series.
I like Chris Pratt, but I’m sick of the whole hand thing that he does about a million times in the whole trilogy. Stop. It.
As a movie, it’s fine. Of course, it falls short of the original Jurassic Park, but I think I like it more than Park III for example. It’s cool to see the new cast and the old cast in this ‘final chapter’. That’s the biggest draw: nostalgia. As always, the movie looks great. No problem there.
What is a problem, is that it feels like two different movies crammed together, but it’s somehow still way too generic. It feels like a Jurassic movie and not a Jurassic movie at the same time. Kind of weird.
Absolutely representative of everything wrong with modern hollywood. I love it. It is a bad movie, the cgi looks like puppets in places the plot is thinly strung together video game cutscenes and all the major beats were included in the trailer. I'll watch it again, recommend keeping your expectations low and having a good time.
I struggled with this. It took me about four hours to watch because I just wasn't captivated enough to sit through it; I kept pausing to watch TikToks, I was that bored. I think that says it all. Also, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard have zero chemistry.
I watched this literally a couple of days ago and I can’t remember any major plot points… it was okay when it was on, and I liked it. But apparently it was very forgettable.
Seriously. What's wrong with you people...? Why is everyone soo angry these days? This is not the dumpster fire most are claiming it to be. Is it one of the lesser entries in the series? Sure, but it's got some fun stuff going for it. There are loads of entertaining sequences, it's got some neat ideas at play and there's plenty of fan service to satisfy. Even though y'all seem to be crying most about said fan service, but if they didn't put that stuff in there you would be whining that it wasn't there... There's no pleasing audiences sometimes.
Lewis Dodgson reminds me very much of Tim Cock. In itself an acceptable film.
OK, so that series is completely dead.
The original Jurassic Park was a great movie that played around with an interesting idea. This has become nothing more then paint by numbers Hollywood action cinema that just happens to have dinosaurs in it.
Boring, no sense, bad movie!!
"Jurassic World? Not a fan."
Me too Goldblum... me too. It's so weird that a movie can have badass dinosaurs, plenty of action, great color and cinematography, OG cast and still feel empty. I was really hoping this could be a great last hurrah, but oh well. Please let this be the end.
certainly not the best but by this point in a franchise i don't really expect anything to be great?? the OG cast was so lovely to have though, truly.
To combine the the original cast and with the modern day cast should've been a recipe for success but this failed way short. From beginning to end this movie was very difficult to keep pace with. Just like the original Jurassic Park, the sequels get worse.
I have never watched a film that felt like it was built by an algorithm without one free thinking human involved like Jurassic World Dominion.
Trying to incorporate the original cast was a nice thought, but horrible execution. This was such a huge let down. The constant attempt at trying to help us viewers understand what the hell is going on made for a horrible watching experience.
the plot was somewhat better than i thought it would be. Thought, it was still lacking in substance
To be honest, I was expecting a lot more from this film. I thought it would be fantastic, but it was a bit of a let down.
There were some good bits, but the overall story was weak, and I started to get bored after an hour or so.
Previous films have been better.
Not terrible, but not great
Hahaha, I understand what about me anymore and how much time they will take for the reimbursement
General suggestion for future makers of dinosaur flicks: just stick with the dinosaurs in a dinosaur movie. Nevertheless, aside from the main story arc, the sub-plots - especially with the orignial characters - where quite okay. My personal highlight, Jeff Goldblum. Enjoy it with a bucket of popcorn while ignoring the giant grasshoppers.
Overall it was a good time pass. If you have better options, skip this movie. If you have no other options, it’s a decent way to waste 2.5 hours of your life.
Let’s hope this is the end of this franchise. Every release gets worst and worst.
This movie was 2 hours too long.
A film where Apple CEO Tim Cook makes his acting debut.
Poor script.
A rushed story, even though it has a duration of 2 hours. Presenting the old characters does not have a significant change. This film doesn't answer our questions, it adds more questions. The point of this film is just to brag about their dinosaurs.
I knew it had a negative reception so my expectations were low before watching it. It's not the boring mess I read. Even the role of the locusts was overstated. The first act was great before new characters were introduced but the rest was still entertaining, all in all.
OMG what a boring film, I actually nodded off about half an hour before the end for 10 mins and when I awoke it hadn't changed (still boring) the only bit that kept me watching it was Maisie's hot redhead mom ;-)
So far I've only watched the Extended Edition, which the director has said is the version he intended to be released before the studio forced him to cut 14 minutes. I loved it, and while it did feel a little long, I felt the action, character moments, and nostalgia were nicely balanced. I'm curious to watch the theatrical release and see if that explains the more negative reviews this film received.
"Jurassic World? Not a fan."
The end of Fallen Kingdom was so exciting for me, now we are going to see humans and dinosaurs living together. I later heard that Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern would be there too and I was so happy.
Then I read some of the review here at Letterboxd and saw the movie myself and I am so disappointed. Maybe I'm even too generous giving it 2 stars but I just freaking love dinosaurs. But this movie is a. too long and b. boring. I didn't enjoy the plot, wanted to see more of the original trio, didn't like the locust and the action scenes didn't really do it for.
I just have to stick to the original trilogy and the first one of the second trilogy. I just enjoy Dinosaur Park movies.
It's like they took the worst aspects of Indiana Jones, Interstellar, and the new James Bond and sprinkled in some dinosaurs.
The first movie i have ever dropped in my life... This shouldnt even have an hour... 2:30 is absolutely unbearable
Far too long, but pretty good action sequences with a few interesting camera shots.
The story was more or less the same as every other JP movie, expect this one starred Tim Cook as the evil billionaire trying to rule the world from a compound that looked a little like 1 Infinite Loop.
For me there was just too much happening constantly. Normally that would take away from the story, but this was definitely a case of great FX needing something to glue the action sequences together. It’s almost like they designed the sequences first and then tried to figure out how to shoehorn a story into it.
I wouldn't say this is the worst film I've watched recently, but it sure comes near the bottom. I did at least watch all of it, by watching a bit, having a rest and then watching a bit more. But I'm so over American films. I think I'll start looking at Scandinavian/Icelandic series as at least they come up with something different every now and again. Sigh.
Did I expect more? Yes. Where there dinossaurs? Yes. Was it enjoyable? Yes.
:heart:x7
Definitely not as good as the other 2 Jurassic World movies. In fact, I felt like this one was more of an homage to the original Jurassic Park (1993).
Don't get me wrong - this was still a good movie and it was a lot of fun seeing the whole gang from both sets of movies all playing together.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
How did we get here?
The first Jurassic Park is one of the best films ever made, and it didn’t get there by being an action flick with Dinos. It was slow-paced, philosophical, bought up relevant ethical questions and took a darker turn into almost horror-movie territory by the end while losing none of the majesty and awe that gripped us in the first half.
I wish people would stop encouraging this nostalgia-baiting nonsense . They just continue to pull in audiences and hope that they’ll clap like seals at references to old movies with no understanding of what made those movies good.
Such a disappointing conclusion to a legendary saga.
Its way longer than it needs to be and it feel like 2 different movies are playing at once. The first hour is nonsensical boring action with characters that are introduced then soon abandoned who serve no purpose to the movie. The actual classic Jurassic Park story doesn’t come into play until the last 45 minutes (out of 2.5 hrs). The send off didn’t have much emotion, except for a nice looking final shot.
Brought back a few old dinosaurs, big deal.
The animals were cool though! Not sure if a Giganotasaurus is actualyl a real thing... the whole "not a saurus" had me wondering if it was made up. Will need to look it up now :D
I should have known the writing for this movie would be horrible when they start it off with Dr. Ellie Sattler saying she is researching the harmful affects of animal agriculture on the environment.... all right, awesome! They can go into how it is one of the two leading causes (arguably #1) of climate change too!
Followed up by her saying she thinks regenerative farming is a good thing face palm
So they decided to make Dr. Ellie Sattler sound like an idiot because they couldn;t be bothere to do 5 minutes of research?
Really neat to see the older characters back with the new, but besides that... phew this is rough.
I loved this film. I like how they copied the Apple headquarters as Mr. Evils domain. Speaking of Mr. Evil, he highly resembled Tim Cook. Aside from the Apple love, the movie was full of adventure, a great story line cut from the headlines of today. Not sure why others didn't like this final instalment? The new and old casts blended smoothly and delivered a great finale. If you loved the past 5, you'll love this.
Don’t waste your money and time. Ridiculously bad.
It's shit. oh i've got to put more words in. Okay, it's really shit.
Jurassic world Defecation!
Chris platt blue steels it,whilst holding up his hand at every fucking thing.
some other things happen, there's a massive bike V Dino chase scene which should have been the main action segment, but they just kind of speed through it, but the Dino's all have stormtrooper aim, and weigh as much as a feather so they just float by.
other stuff happens , piss poorly and ridiculous.
At least the on-screen text has the same font as used in Jurassic Park.
The amount of "oh f off"s I've yelled is off the dial.
I've almost suffocated laughing at some of the dialogue.
My favourite bit is where the pilot teleports from the room to coming down the ladder in the same room.
one beautiful image near the end.
jurassic park, starring Tim Cook. worst acting of the year, worst dialogue of the year, worst jokes of the year.
I enjoyed this a lot. It was a lot better than what I was expecting. Definitely better than Jurassic Park 3 and more fun than the Jurassic World movies. It felt more like a Jurassic Park movie than a Jurassic World movie. It captured the same magic and innocence of the Spielberg movies. I'm glad that we didn't see the same old repeated again. Dinosaurs eating people. It felt different and fresh. I also loved the evil Tim Apple.

Didn’t enjoy this movie as much as the predecessors unfortunately. However I still recommend watching it
This was a slog to sit through. I enjoyed the first one of the new trilogy (mostly because of Nostalgia bait), the 2nd one was dumb but still enjoyable to a certain degree... but this one was almost unbearable to sit through.
Probably the worst of the Jurassic films but I still enjoyed it for a couple of hours of mindless fun. Some good action scenes in the last hour.
Enjoyable movie, well worth a watch :thumbsup_tone1:
Love how they made Tim Apple the villain, hated pretty much everything else.
Not the best movie from the series but still enjoyable. Especially seeing the old and new generation together is nice...
Could have been better, i feel they needed to end the series, not a bad way to go I would say
Eh, typical injected woke politics and telling the same story for the 10th time. Good to kill time, but barely entertaining. Without the CGI, this would be a B grade flick.
I’ve been a fan of this franchise for a long time I even read the books. The movie was very good I would watch this again also go team blue
One of the worst jurassic world movie ever created. Bad script.
Just end it with jurassic world 2.
well, this was a whole bunch of nothing!
wow that was really really boring. i guess its the movie with the least amount of dinosaurs.
What an utterly piece of horrible shit.
A missed opportunity to pay homage to the original films, returning the prominence to the initial characters, but the production effort is sustained by a weak and repetitive script, which contains all the defects of this reboot that Colin Trevorrow started in 2015. When the Hollywood machinery does not know how to stop in time, it ends up creating nonsense as boring and inconsequential as this one.
Futile , Tedious and Repetitive
Jurassic World is a tiresome and unexciting conclusion to a muddled and wearisome franchise. Other than extensive use of digitally created dinos, the film offers nothing more in terms of storytelling and logic, criminally destroying the legacy of decades old Jurrasic Park trilogy by bringing back the trio of Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum to only bring back nostalgia and make a business out of it. The film drastically suffers because of a futile script and repetitive template of a bad company doing bad things having a bad businessman behind it. Watta a complete mess. The action scenes are not intriguing enough as you dont even connect with the characters to root for them. Overall , a highly tiring film to sit through and disaster in terms of concluding a adored franchise.

What made the first two movies so great was that they made the most of all the elements. They were thrilling, educational and most importantly, fun. Less is more. So much money was thrown at this film, yet it did not manage to be half as good.
Wanted to like it for the nostalgia and the fact the original was a personal fave when I was 12 watching it in theatres. Now that I'm 40 I'm sure the original would still be a fave, but this new generation trilogy finale wasn't very good. There were moments I smiled, but it felt wooden and like cardboard for the most part to me. Bad acting from the baddies, and just overall meh. Some fun dino scenes here and there and the movie really does look nice at home on a 65" lg OLED television in 4k Dolby vision. Overall it's a 5.4 for me. My other half gave it a 7.5 so take that for what it's worth.
Dinosaur story for women, children, black lesbians, and ugly-faced Asians. Another woke crap from 2022.
Bad actors, stupid dialogue, copy-pasted story from start to finish. Even the old actors don't know what to do with their characters.
US cinema is dead in 2020 with metoo and blm. The nauseating ideology leaking out of the universities has also poisoned the 7th art industry.
All the block-busters for the last two years are nothing but posters for hysterical feminism, forcible communitarianism and recommended sexual deviances.
There is only one victim, only one enemy, in 2022: the white hetero Christian man, who becomes the worst villain, the one they ridicule, the one they would like to castrate, the one they want to kill with all the benevolence of their leftist dictatorship.
Here is the last dinosaur in the process of extinction.
The third act of the movie is done very badly on every level, plot, scenes, CGI it's like they know the movie is doomed already so they said let's not make much effort and let's get it done already
…and now we wait for the remakes! They’re probably casting already. I was done at 90 minutes and my wife said is it almost over? I checked and couldn’t believe another hour was left! I’m not sure you pronounce gigantic as giggantic though lol
A complete mess with a lot of unconnected scenes and no plot whatsoever.
A meeting of generations, catching references to previous films and a relatively fast-paced action filled with dinosaurs... For me it's enough, because what more could you want from an adventure movie? The series' culmination is a plus. So maybe see you in next 30 years dinosaurs? ;)
Original Jurassic Park, believable story line, believable action sequences, etc.
Jurrassic World 3, horrible CGI, terrible story and super unbelievable action sequences. A woman villain who apparently has no fear of bullets and just walks away while people are shooting at her.
If you never watched this, you wouldn't be missing anything
Now that the Jurassic World series has fumbled to a disappointing conclusion, it's super clear that 'Fallen Kingdom' is still the best of this trilogy.
I enjoyed this movie e
I'ts been a long time since I've clapped at the end of a movie. Although the only reason I clapped was because I was finally free.
I thought this was supposed to be about Dinos who co mingle with humans . instead we got seven people who rescue a kidnapped girl from a mad scientist who has some Dino close by UGR !!! and how was the CGI better in 1992 …
Time stamp 1:52:33
Pretty much sums it up.

People are taking themselves and what they wanted this movie to be too seriously. I never anticipated a Spielbergian masterpiece back when it was announced, but the most vocal reception had me expecting a pile of dino droppings, so I was pleasantly surprised to watch something that had me grinning for the better part of its duration. At the end of the day, it can be taken for the best thing it could realistically have been—a fun throwback with well loved characters.
Also, there's giant fucking fire locusts raining down.
