Dawn returns from holiday and informs her mum that although she can never be happy for her and Terry, she will accept it for now. Later, she confides in Jamie that her future plans mean that she won’t have to tolerate the situation much longer. Over at the Dingles’, Debbie storms out with a final threat to Cain that she hasn’t forgotten his betrayal. She reminds Cain that the rest of the village will be disgusted to learn of his affair with Jasmine. Debbie is offered a bed at Home Farm with Chas. Meanwhile, Shadrach, Beryl and Barney have a lucky escape as they flee from a truffle hunt. Later, Shadrach secretly plots his revenge when he overhears the Chugspokes making fun of him.
