Irritated by Steph’s show of support for Louise, Val decides to stir things up by claiming it's really busy at the B&B and she should go over and help out her new boss, knowing full well it's the murder mystery night. Intent on showing willing, she heads over to the B&B and walks into the middle of the murder mystery evening and quickly leaves, feeling hurt and betrayed. Meanwhile, Perdy invites Andy and Katie over to Oakwell Hall to discuss her investing in Katie's business. Perdy suggests they go into partnership but is only offering guidance and support rather than money. Elsewhere, Rodney hits a new low when he is kicked out of the B&B. His humiliation is compounded further when he has to spend the night sleeping on Viv’s sofa.
