Martin tells Louise that he overhead Ashley telling Diane that Sam helped Alice die. He begins an investigation by going to see Dr Abbot. She tells him that there was nothing suspicious about the death. Meanwhile, it is the day of Alice's funeral and Sam wants everything to go as she had planned. The Dingles gather together and remind themselves that a Dingle funeral should be fun, not a sad occasion. But as Belle lays flowers on the coffin the group can’t help but be tearful. Sam struggles to keep it together when the funeral is interrupted by some uninvited guests.
