Repetition creates a secondary design when two sizes of the same quilt block are combined to create the Double Stars quilt. An interesting concept of putting a star within a star and the use of a solid with a print furthers the double effect. Mary Fons is joined by Jodie Davis to show you the basics of creating the 8-pointed star block. The quilt was designed, constructed and quilted by Nancy Mahoney.
