Block Exchanges– what are they? How do you organize one? What kinds of things should you consider? This is the topic Mary Fons and Liz Porter discuss in this episode. They guide you through all the considerations and details required to set up a successful block exchange program. The simple Churn Dash block was Liz's selection for a block exchange with quilt friends. Once you have completed your program, Liz will present a quick strip style setting you might consider for your quilt top. This episode includes quilts made by friends of Liz using the same blocks with creative and unique settings. The Neapolitan quilt was designed by Liz Porter and quilted by Barb Mapes. This quilt is featured in the May/June 2014 issue of Love of Quilting.
