Happy traveller will travel to Chalkidiki which is famous for the beautiful beaches, the nightlife and the delicious olives. He travelled all the way there to present this amazing trek and fill with pictures and moments.
Mykonos is the best known Greek island for the frenetic parties and cosmopolitan life. The island of course has wrongly given only signs of well-being and night club since it has so much else to bring out. Happy Traveller will show us what special we can do and eat in Mykonos through its own unique look.
Santorini, having a special history and unique rocks has managed to become the focus for tourists. Eftyhis couldn't resist so, he travelled there to prove that a trip to the Greek islands has nothing to envy from foreign destinations.

Happy Traveller goes to beautiful Samos, one of the proudest islands of the Aegean Sea, since it has given birth to Pythagoras. This is what Eftyhis thought and so, in addition to the amazing local dishes and delicacies he discovered, he also presents the historical gravity of the island.
Ηappy Τraveller explores the area before mount Athos, in the eastern peninsula of Chalkidiki! Happy Traveller begins his journey from Metamorphosis in Chalkidiki, exploring the unique Mount Athos and the area northern to the mountain. Eftyhis travels to one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, the city of Viennese coffee and classical music. Eftyhis starts from the castle of Platamonas, passing through the traditional settlement of the Old Panteleimon, to ends at one of the best wineries in the country on the south side of Olympus. The journey continues to Litochoro, the Enipeas gorge that leads to the magnificent waterfalls, the archaeological site in Dion, Makrygialo where it tastes local recipes with mussels and Katerini where it stays overnight. He visits the largest milk production company in Pieria, Elatochori and the well-known Indian village on the mountain, and Iraklis estate where Eftyhis is riding a horse and enjoying traditional recipes with local products in front of the fireplace.

The journey to the north of Italy continues with a road trip to Genoa and the Italian Riviera. Eftyhis begins from Milan and goes south to Genoa, one of the most important ports in the country, and a city with a long history and tradition in shipping and good food. He tastes authentic Pesto Genovese, wanders around the old port, and visits the largest aquarium in Europe. The journey will continue in the Italian Riviera reaching the picturesque Portofino, one of the most beautiful seaside villages in Italy. There, in addition to the natural landscape and the colorful buildings of the village, he also enjoys authentic Italian pizza.
Happy Traveller in one of the most exotic, idyllic, and heavenly countries in the world! We fly to Male, the capital of the Maldives, which is the smallest country in Asia, consisted of about 1200 islands. In Male we stay for one day to explore the city and visit the local markets while the next day we fly by seaplane and go to Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, an island hotel considered one of the best luxury resorts around the world. We will do all kinds of tourist activities, such as diving, rowing, water sports and laying on a hammock!
Happy Traveller in Sri Lanka! A beautiful country with hospitable residents, great history, special cuisine, local products known all over the world, imposing temples, and amazing natural landscapes. The journey begins to Colombo, Sri Lanka's capital. After we drive to the center of the island where we will visit some of the most important historical sites of the country. Then we take a 4x4 safari to see free elephants in their natural environment as well as visit a spice garden where we will learn all about the well-known Ceylon spices.
The last part of the trip in Sri Lanka includes amazing Buddhist monuments, traditional dance show and acquaintance with the famous Ceylon tea! On the return flight we stop in Istanbul and take a quick tour of the city!
Happy Traveller in Corfu! Our exploration on the beautiful island of Pheakes begins from the city of Corfu and after walking the whole downtown we will get in the car and go to the south part of the island. First stop is the beautiful Achillio and after we will move towards Lefkimmi.
Happy Traveller in Lesvos! We visit the mansion island of the Eastern Aegean and explore it from side to side. We will see the capital of the island of Mytilene, the beautiful Mithymna, the fairy-tale Skala Sykaminias, the Monastery of Taxiarches, the Petrified Forest, the picturesque Plomari with the famous ouzo and many other magical places in one of the most beautiful islands of Greece!
Happy Traveller continues the trip to Corfu with an exploration of the north side of the island. We will enjoy the view from the Kaiser observatory and climb to Pantokrator, the highest point of the island. We will eat pastitsado in Acharavi and explore the heavenly northern coasts, with stops at Canal d'Amour, the Drastis Cape and the unique Paleokastritsa from where we will see a dreamy sunset.
Happy Traveller in Pelion! We travel to the green mountain of Centaurs and present to you its lesser known side on the beautiful eastern coasts bordering the Aegean Sea. Eftyhis starts the journey from Volos and continues visiting the beautiful villages of Pelion like Portaria, Milies, Zagora, Mouresi, Ai Giannis, Chorefto and Tsagarada. We visit the beautiful beach of Mylopotamos and walk to the Hidden School of Fakistra. Of course, we will not fail to try traditional recipes of the region.

Eftyhis and Electra travel to Greece for the first time with their daughter by visiting Xanthi and the Nestos River. The car ride is enchanting as they pass through the most naturally rich areas of Greece. They go to the picturesque Karyofyto and reach the waterfall of Livaditis. They hike the path of Nestos and end up in the wonderful village of Toxotes. They visit other villages such as Komnina and Stavroupoli and, finally, the city of Xanthi.
In the episode we see the first destination they visited after the lifting of the restrictive measures: the beautiful Crete. In previous episodes, the Happy Traveler had visited the prefectures of Chania and Rethymnon, but now it sets sail for the eastern side of the island and more specifically the prefecture of Lasithi. In the first part, our travelers visit the capital of the prefecture, Agios Nikolaos, with its emblematic lake and picturesque harbor and climb the impressive Lasithi plateau. They stay in Elounda and explore the beautiful bay with its picturesque harbors, golden coasts and traditional villages. They go to historic Spinalonga and reach the tip of Aforesmenos cape to see one of the most isolated historic lighthouses in Greece.
In the second part of the journey, our travelers see the Cha Gorge, Ierapetra and the surrounding area. They visit the island of Chrysi with the wonderful beach and the Mylonas waterfall. The journey to the prefecture of Lassithi continues around Sitia, with the impressive palm forest of Vai and the historic monastery of Toplou.
Happy Traveller in the Faroe Islands! Eftyhis is taking his first trip abroad for this year, to one of the most isolated countries in Europe. The Faroe Islands archipelago, a country with 18 islands, is in the North Atlantic Ocean between Iceland, Scotland, and Norway. In the first part of the trip, he stays in a van, drives to fairy-tale landscapes, and sees amazing waterfalls and fjords.
In the second part of his trip, Eftyhis visits the largest of the country's 18 islands and explores the capital Torshavn. Strolling through the picturesque harbor and observes the colorful buildings reminiscent of Copenhagen and the traditional wooden houses that house the government. He goes to one of the most picturesque villages in the region to see the oldest surviving Catholic temple in the Faroe Islands, which is also the oldest building in the country. The next day he visits Mykines, the westernmost island of Faroe. He walks in the fog to reach one of the most important lighthouses in the North Atlantic. Along the way he sees the beautiful puffins up close, since on the island there is one of the largest colonies in the world. Returning to the settlement of the island, he tastes traditional fish soup and meets one of the ten permanent residents to find out where the island got its name.
On the third part of the journey to the isolated archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean, Eftyhis drives his van to the east and northern Faroe Islands, crosses bridges and gets on a ferry to Kalsoy Island. She walks through one of the country's few forests in Kunoy Park, sees incredible landscapes, picturesque villages and admires the Kopakonan, the beautiful statue of a seal-woman, accompanied by a dark legend.
Eftyhis exploring the famous village Gjogv, which means gorge and took its name from its special natural port. He climbs an impressive ridge to see from above one of the country's most iconic fjords. He will admire the "Giant" and the "Witch", the two iconic rocks on the northern coast of the country and learn about the myth that connects these rocks with Iceland. Finally, he visits the double Waterfall Fossa which is also the largest in the country.
Eftyhis and Electra visit one of the most beautiful and historic areas of Greece, mountainous Arcadia. In the first part, they explore the picturesque villages of Stemnitsa and Dimitsana and stay in a heavenly place surrounded by the fir trees. They visit the Hydromobility Museum which is an important tourist attraction and make a stop in the village of Lagadia. They learn the history of the place and taste traditional flavors. They admire amazing forests, visit small churches, and discover steep slopes.
In the second part of the journey, they visit mountainous Vytina, the medieval Karytina, as well as the historic village of Limpovisi. They walk in the village where Theodoros Kolokotronis was origin of, enter the museum that has been built in his honor and rest for a while in the traditional café. They enjoy the natural beauties of the river Lousios, the gorge and the surrounding areas. Finally, they visit the Monastery of Timios Prodromos.
Happy Traveller in Northern Norway, the northernmost part of Europe! Eftyhis passes through beautiful Norwegian landscapes and travels almost 1,500 kilometers in 48 hours, aiming to reach the famous northern cape. A route considered one of the top road trips in the world. He visits Tromso where the impressive Arctic Cathedral take place as well as the town of Alta with the famous carved 7,000-year-old cliffs. He drives to enchanting landscapes, passes amazing bridges, sees spectacular fjords, imposing waterfalls, strange beaches, picturesque villages, historical sights and temples, a dreamy sunrise and a fairy-tale sunset at Cape Nordkapp, the northernmost point of continental Europe.
Eftyhis travels to a special destination. Happy Traveller arrives at the Svalbard Archipelago, the closest point to the North Pole the show has reached so far.

This week at Happy Traveler, Eftychis and Electra travel to the island of Aphrodite, the beloved Cyprus. They explore the province of Paphos and admire impressive landscapes, historical sites with enormous archaeological value, picturesque villages, paradise sites, the picturesque port of Paphos and its beautiful center. They are enchanted by the Coral Bay, go to the baths of Aphrodite and Adonis and "feel like gods for a while", and visit the most interesting villages of the area, such as Pomos, Episkopi, Pegeia and Gyalia. Finally, they walk at the Kremmiotis waterfall in Crete Terra and are impressed by the tombs of the Kings but also by Petra tou Romiou, on the beach, where the goddess Aphrodite emerged through the waves. Happy Traveler travels to the Peloponnese and Eftychis and Electra visit the prefecture of Ilia. In the first part of the trip, they enjoy the Kotychi lagoon, a place of unique beauty. They make a short stop at the dam of Pinios and visit the village of Lampeia, which is resorted to by all those who want a little more coolness in the summer. One of the top places they see is the Foloi Forest, while they also go to Chlemoutsi Castle, the Baths of Kyllini and reach the beach of Loutra. They continue their journey, stopping in Amaliada, walking in the famous and tropical Kourouta and walking in Gastouni, a town in western Ilia. The day ends with one of the most impressive sunsets you can see on Greek soil. In this episode, Eftychis and Electra go hiking at Neda waterfall, one of the few rivers in Greece that has a female name and separates the prefecture of Ilia from the prefecture of Messinia. On Saturday, April 3 at 17.40, Happy Travelers travel by road within Greece and go to mountainous Achaia and Kalavrita. They learn the history of the martyred town, take a walk on the main pedestrian street and visit the museum of the Kalavrita Holocaust and the hill outside the city, where one of the darkest pages in the history of Greece was written during World War II. Then, they go to the historic monastery of Agia Lavra and the impressive monument of the revolution of 1821. On this trip, which took place last summer, they taste local flavors that go crazy, lead to unique landscapes, reach a fairytale waterfall, visit the impressive , in natural beauty, Lake Tsivlou and are guided to the impressive Observatory of Helmos. Happy Traveler travels to the Ionian Sea and stops at the island of Odysseus, Ithaca. In this episode, Eftychis and Electra see unique beaches, swim in crystal clear waters and taste traditional flavors of the island. Eftychis and Electra set sail for Italy to start a European road trip of 40 days and 10,000 kilometers
They cross northern Italy, making a short stop in the area of Lake Como. Then they enter Switzerland and are confronted with riveting landscapes in the Swiss Alps. They pass through the puppet city of Basel and continue to Southwest Germany and specifically to the state of Baden-Württemberg, where they explore the Black Forest, one of the most famous and beautiful forests in Europe.
Eftychis visits picturesque mountain villages such as Arnaia with its traditional mansions and Taxiarchis, built in the dense forest of Holomontas. It passes through Polygyros but also through Agios Prodromos and Galatista with the puppet traditional square and the impressive medieval tower. It ends at the only inhabited island of Central Macedonia, the heavenly and green Ammouliani with its amazing beaches and hospitable inhabitants which it explores by bicycle.
Our travelers start from the capital, the city of Luxembourg with its multi-layered geography, the impressive castle on the rocks, the manorial architecture and the picturesque old town in the gorge. Then, explore the countryside, starting from the oldest village in Luxembourg and following the route of the so-called "little Switzerland", where you admire impressive gorges, nature-loving hiking trails and special caves with strange geometric shapes. The roadtrip in the endless meadows of Luxembourg leads them to many small picturesque villages, to imposing medieval castles as well as to a modern aqueduct that looks like a skyscraper.
In the first part of their trip to Barcelona, Eftychis and Electra see the dazzling Sagrada Familia and many other famous buildings of Anthony Gaud., Park Guell, Piazza Catalunya, Las Ramplas and Bokeria Market. Also, the coastal road of the city, the statue of Columbus, the beach Barcelona, the old Gothic neighborhood with the alleys and the cathedral. Finally, the modern neighborhood with the tower of the glorious Catalans, the temple of the Sacred Heart of Christ at the top of Mount Tibidabo, the Ciudadella Park and the Arc de Triomphe and many more of the most popular parts of this beautiful city.
They start by bike to explore the center of Barcelona and go to the west side and the Plaza de Espa .a, where they walk in the old bullring that has now become a state-of-the-art mall. They walk in the park of Mirρό and, passing through the twin towers of Barcelona, they end up in the magic fountain and the emblematic national palace on the hill of Montjuίc. Exploring this historic hill of the city, they see the castle that stands above the commercial port and the Olympic Stadium, where at the Barcelona Olympics in 1992, Voula Patoulidou won the historic gold medal in the 110 meters hurdles. They also climb to the roof of the cathedral and taste traditional local delicacies, such as tapas and the best Catalan cream in town.
In the first part of the trip to the country, which is largely below sea level, Eftychis and Electra visit the capital Amsterdam, with its historic old town and emblematic circular canals. They go to Utrecht which has one of the most well-preserved medieval cities in the Netherlands and tour the open food market with traditional delicacies. They ride a bike in a village with windmills and find out why the windmills in the Netherlands are actually "wind pumps". They go just outside Rotterdam to meet some of our well-known bridges - the ones we see every day on euro banknotes.
Eftychis and Electra continue their visit to the Netherlands. First, they go to Hounda, the birthplace of the most famous Dutch cheese, gouda. They lead to one of the southern islands of the country, where there are large crops of blooming tulips and pass through the impressive bridges of the country which are dams and keep the sea water far and high from the land of the Netherlands. They also go to the north side of the country, to Giethoorn, one of the most doll-like villages in all of Europe that looks like it came out of a fairy tale. They also go to Delft and The Hague, admire the sunset on the most famous beach on the west coast of the country and visit a place where they see what the Netherlands was like with the iconic windmills, centuries ago. Finally, explore the city between the Netherlands and Belgium where there are the strangest national borders of the whole world.
Happy Traveler embarks on an epic journey through Central America. Eftychis visits Panama and SKAI viewers travel with him to the country that connects North and South America. Initially, it explores the country's capital, Panama City, starting from the historic center with colonial architecture and ending on the modern side with skyscrapers. He goes to see the famous Panama Canal and learns why it is considered one of the greatest marvels of engineering ever built by man. It crosses the bridges that connect North and South America and hike in the tropical jungle to reach an impressive waterfall. He boats on the most important river in the country and goes to visit a native village of Empera. Wander around the old capital Antigua, one of the most beautiful colonial cities in the world. Lively, colorful and built between three imposing volcanoes that create a unique setting. Hike in one of the 37 impressively active volcanoes in the country and bake marshmallows with the heat released by the Earth. Visit Lake Atitlan, a lake that was once declared the most beautiful lake in the world. The European road trip of 40 days and 10,000 km continues and Happy Traveler visits Andorra. Nestled between Spain and France in the eastern Pyrenees, the tiny state is a popular winter destination with many ski resorts and attracts nature lovers all year round. Our travelers explore the "old Andorra" which is the highest capital of Europe and see the most important and historic buildings of the city. They go hiking in the forest, enjoying unique landscapes with impressive lakes, snow-capped mountains, picturesque villages, stone bridges and places with riveting views. They try flavors that combine French and Catalan cuisine and answer the question "is it worth a traveler to go to Andorra?"
Eftychis puts in the "suitcase of his travel experiences" two other countries, El Salvador and Honduras. He sees life in the capital San Salvador and the historic city of St. Anne and wanders into a small picturesque Honduran village. Explore traditional markets and taste strange tropical fruits and local specialties, such as the delicious "pupousa". Impressed by unique natural landscapes and admiring imposing ancient Mayan cities such as the iconic Copan, one of the three most important ancient cities of this wonderful civilization.
Happy Traveler and Eftychis complete their trip to Central America with the second part of their visit to Guatemala, the largest and most populous country out of 7 in the region. Explore the east side of the country on the Caribbean coast and cross the Rio Dulce River by boat and end up in Livingston. It goes to the island of Flores which looks like our Aetolian and then to Tikal, perhaps the most impressive Mayan city. Admire a jewel castle on the river bank and wander into one of the largest markets in Central America.
Eftychis and Electra travel to the North of France, one of the most historic areas of the Old Continent, for a journey where the great counterattack of the allies for the liberation of Europe during the Second World War began. They visit the beaches where in June 1944 the historic landing of the allied forces that judged the outcome of the war took place, villages and cities from where the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany began. They see damaged German machine guns, the makeshift port built by the British for the landing of heavy weapons on the French coast and museum ammunition used by the allies in the operations. Take a closer look at the historic beaches of Omaha, Utah, Sword and Juno. They visit Sainte Mere Eglise, first to be liberated by American paratroopers, and Bayeux, first to be liberated by the Allies and became the seat of the Provisional French Government. Finally, they go to Caen with its imposing castle as well as to Honfleur at the mouth of the Seine.
Eftychis and Electra continue their European road trip on French soil, traveling to the provinces of Normandy and Brittany and seeing impressive sights. They start from the emblematic Mont Saint Michel, one of the most photogenic sights in Europe and the second most touristic point in France after Paris. In the Brittany region, they see a huge mysterious meniere while then wandering in the well-preserved old town of Saint Malo with its imposing walls and beautiful islands with forts in the bay opposite. After tasting traditional local flavors, they continue south leading along the French coast to the Atlantic Ocean. They make a stop on the island of Ile de Re in central-western France and continue their journey to the southern borders of the country.
Eftychis explores the beautiful Chalkida with its new and old bridge. During his exploration he sees a rowing team training in the waters of the Strait of Evripos, while he also skates on the popular coastal pedestrian street of the city. Then, it passes through Nea Artaki and ascends to the village of Steni and the imposing Dirfi, before passing to the eastern side of the island which is bathed by the Aegean Sea. Visit picturesque Kymi and try local specialties such as dried figs and the famous 100-leaf baklava. The trek continues to the area around Kimi, where you can see the seaside fishing village of Chile and the monastery of the Savior, as well as the old castle of Kimi. After Kimi, it leads to an impressive gorge to reach the village of Manikia, where it admires and swims in a well hidden waterfall that is considered one of the hidden natural beauties of Evia.
Happy Traveler, started a journey to the second largest island of Greece, Evia. Eftychis explored the areas in Central Evia and headed further south. It starts from Agioi Apostoloi in the east of Central Evia and continues its wandering in Aliveri, Amarynthos with fish appetizers and the beautiful Eretria where it walks on the island of dreams. Then, descend to Styra to taste local flavors, to see up close an impressive "dragon house" and to admire the sunrise in one of the most energetic places in all of Greece. Happy Traveler travels abroad, specifically to Northern Italy, on one of the most charming shores of the Mediterranean. In the Cinque Terre area, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Eftychis and Electra visit the 5 fairytale and secluded villages of Liguria with their colorful houses, stepped terraces with vineyards and picturesque harbors. Colorful and beautiful, they are perched on the rocks and make you feel that you have traveled in time. They wander to the 5 famous villages, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al mare in order to find out which is the most beautiful and picturesque. The choice is difficult! An episode with walks on the historic "blue path that connects the 5 villages" and many back and forth on the train line - a marvel of engineering. A visit with delicious Ligurian flavors such as authentic pesto genovese that made our travelers do not want to leave!
During this journey, which lasted 40 days, our travelers traveled 10,000 km by car and visited many parts of Europe. On the Euro Puzle Tour, as they called it, they completed the pieces of the "European travel puzzle" that they were missing, some countries they had never been to or specific areas of countries that they had left unexplored on previous excursions. They explore the emblematic Montserrat mountain of Spain with the monasteries that look like our Meteora. Montserrat means "mountain saw" and is named after its characteristic shape. They walk on the mountain paths and see picturesque temples and hermitages in caves that look like they came out of a movie of the time. Then cross the French-Spanish border and head to the impressive medieval town of Carcassonne in southern France. The trip ends with the return to Greece via Italy. A journey to 12 different countries that was completed in a total of 12 episodes. An amazing journey full of beautiful images, stunning landscapes.

Happy Traveler in Greece this week and our travelers set sail for one of the most interesting islands of Greece, the mysterious and idyllic Samothrace. Eftychis and Electra enter the ship as a family from Alexandroupolis and disembark in Kamariotissa, the port of Samothrace. They know the wild beauty of the island, they wander in the alleys of the country but also in the popular municipal campsite. They visit the archeological site of Paleopolis and admire the sanctuary of the great gods and the place where in ancient times the Kaveri mysteries were performed. They hike at the foot of Mount Saos, see the famous pedestals and waterfalls and go to the easternmost beach of the island, Kipi. The waterfalls created by the Zambezi River are located between Zambia and Zimbabwe and are among the largest in the world.

In the first part, the Happy Traveler's family disembarks in Gavrio and explores the north-east side of the island with the iconic Fasa lighthouse on one side of Cabo Doro. They admire the wild scenery on the beach of Pyrgos and go horse riding on the water on the idyllic beach of Fellos. In the morning, they go to the picturesque country of Andros and see the most spectacular sunrise in the Aegean Sea. After watching the sun rise behind the Tourlitis lighthouse, they board a boat and explore the coastline west of the capital, stopping at Achlas beach with its lagoon, the picturesque church of Agios Nikolaos, the Grias lighthouse and the famous beach. Then, they go for a walk in the market of Andros, enter the cave of Aladdin, visit the green village of Menites with its small stone bridge and also the Monastery of Panahrantou, where they talk to the Abbot and admire the incredible view.
Eutychis and Electra go to the west of the island with the village of Stenies and the holy monastery of Agia Marina which looks like an impregnable fortress. They hike across the Achla River to see a stone arched bridge that will momentarily make them feel like they are on Epirus. After a short walk, alongside the water of the river, they face the impressive waterfalls at Gerolimni Achla. They drive inland of the island, passing through impressive landscapes with picturesque settlements, while at Kypri beach they meet windsurfing champions who do one of the most impressive and innovative versions of surfing that looks like they are floating above the water. They go for a walk in the picturesque Batsi in the daylight but also at night which is even more picturesque. They continue, admiring the western coast of Andros which also has the oldest settlements of the island. They visit the picturesque Korthi in the south and explore the beach "Tis grias to pidima".
In the first part, the happy travelers disembark at Diakofti and are impressed by the incredibly green waters that challenge them for a swim. Soon after, they visit a cave and climb Agia Moni to see the view from above. They explore the picturesque country with its narrow streets, welcoming residents, traditional shops and the iconic castle. They see the bridge of Katunio and go to the west side of the island where the green village of Mylopotamos is located with the impressive waterfall and the historical cave of Agia Sophia. This Saturday Happy Traveler takes us to the second highest mountain in Greece in an episode full of adventure, beautiful natural landscapes and traditional mountain villages. Then we will head to the South side of Smolika, to the village of Pades where we will have a traditional feast. In the first part of the trip, in the Indian Ocean archipelago they explore the largest island of Mahe with the capital Victoria. They start their journey from the northern part of the island, the largest of the 115 islands in the archipelago. They tour the country's capital, Victoria, which is one of the smallest capitals in the world, and learn the basics about the history of this very special country. They go to the botanical garden to admire giant tortoises, try local recipes and explore Beau Vallon and other idyllic beaches that will blow their minds.
In this episode, Euthychis and Elektra board a catamaran to go to the other two major islands of the Seychelles archipelago and see the 2 best beaches in the country that can easily make the list of the 10 best beaches in the world. On Praslin Island they visit Lazio Beach and from there they walk an hour through the jungle to reach the exotic Georgette Beach which may be the most idyllic exotic beach they have ever seen! Then they go to the largest and most popular virgin forest in the country which is a national park with rich and rare flora and fauna. Their journey continues to the island of La Digue, where they go to see a historical site with a huge monolith as well as vanilla plantations. Source d'Argent beach is the most photographed beach in Seychelles, with its lush green landscape, golden sand, turquoise waters and huge granite rocks.
In this episode, Eutychis and Elektra first visit the national park and the traditional tea processing factory. Cape Ternai and Port La Noi beach could not be missing from their travel list. Then they walk the most popular hiking trail, the Copolia Trail and go to the beach market. Their walk reaches Port Glaud, the waterfall and Lazare Beach. They also see Anse Royal with the nearby market and the rum distillery. They go to an estate with traditional houses and continue energetically with the idyllic beaches of this island country. Surfer's beach, Police beach and Intenstance beach are part of their journey. Small traditional villages, local markets and the old mission school are just a few of the many places to visit and are some of the reasons why it is worth making such a long journey.
The show travels to Southeast Asia and begins its exploration of Vietnam from the south of the country and the largest city, Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon. Eutyches and Electra see the most important sights of the city, built by the French when Indochina was their colony. They wander through markets, popular pedestrian streets and alleys with traditional shops as well as the tallest building in the city center to see the view from above. They go to the War Remnants Museum to learn more about the Vietnam War and see up close the Independence Palace, where on April 30, 1975, the brutal 20-year war ended with the capture of Saigon by the Democratic Army of Vietnam and the reunification of the country into a Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Finally, they see the so-called "pits" of the Vietcong, that is, the underground tunnels with the network of shelters used in the war by the army of North Vietnam.
Happy Traveller, in the previous episode, started an exciting journey in Southeast Asia and specifically in Vietnam, continues its tour in the southern part of the country. Eutychis and Electra go to the city of Mai To to see an impressive Buddhist temple with giant statues from Buddhas. Next is a boat ride on the Mekong River Delta where they see picturesque fishing villages, farms with local crops, a coconut dessert workshop and a crocodile park. They return to Ho Chi Minh City, where they explore food markets and take a food tour by motorbike to the most sought-after neighborhoods to try special and unusual Vietnamese flavors in local food joints, canteens and sidewalk shops.
Happy Traveler goes to Eastern Europe and starts a trip to Moldova. The country that is considered to be the least touristic in all of Europe. The purpose of travelers is to learn first hand the beauties that this country hides and if it is ultimately worth as a travel destination. Euthychis and Elektra, in the first part of the trip to Moldova, explore the capital Chisinau, see the most important historical sights, stroll through the beautiful central parks, go to food markets and the huge bazaar where you can find all kinds of second-hand goods. Of course, they don't fail to try the local cuisine, which pleasantly surprises them!
Initially, they see in the capital some historical buildings that have a direct connection with Greece, such as the church of Agios Panteleimon, the Tsoufli monastery built by two Greeks from Tsepelovo, Ioannina, and the house of Michalis Katsikas, which was one of the headquarters of the Philiki Etairia before revolution of 1821. They then head out of town to see the beautiful Moldavian countryside. They admire vast fields of sunflowers, apple trees and vineyards and visit a historic monastery in the north-east of the country on the banks of the Dniester River. They go into a verdant canyon and cross suspension bridges to find hermitage caves as well as a spectacular waterfall. A trip to Moldova could not include a visit to one of the country's famous wineries. They go to the most impressive underground wine cellar which is the largest cellar in the world, with tunnels 120 kilometers below the surface of the earth.
This week, Happy Traveler stays in Greece with Eutychis and Elektra traveling to the beloved Epirus to see the lesser known side of Zagori. They go to Iliohori with the heavenly waterfall for a dip in its cool waters, to Vrysohori and the bridge of Aoos where they set up for a picnic. They drive through green landscapes admiring the dense forests of Pindos and reach Vovousa, one of the most beautiful villages in Greece, which is divided in two by the Aoos river. Next stop, Valia Kalda and Arkudorema, where they arrive after hiking by the river and the forest path. After a full day of walking and running in nature, they enjoy local cuisine, take a leisurely bike ride and spend the night in nature enjoying the moonlight. The trip concludes with a visit to the village of Flambourari in Eastern Zagori, the fairytale lake with water lilies and the artificial lake of the sources of the Aoos River.
In this episode, we see the first part of the road trip in the southern part of Albania, in the region also known as Northern Epirus. Our travelers pass the border of Mertzani which is next to Konitsa and drive parallel to the river Aoos. They go to Premeti where, in addition to the city, they also see the famous baths with the beautiful stone arched bridge of continental architecture. Then they pass through Kleisoura with its emblematic gorge and impressive bridges. They visit Tepeleni and end up in the area of Delta Aoos where they see its mouth in the Adriatic Sea. Finally, they reach the Holy Monastery of Panagia Ardenitsa, the Monastery of Agios Kosmas of Aitolos where the tomb of PatroKosmas is also located, as well as the ancient Apollonia.
They continue their journey and initially make a small detour on their way to see the beautiful Berat or Verati, which is considered by many to be the most beautiful city in Albania. Then they go to the country's third largest city and first capital, Avlona. They also see salt flats with pink waters and the Narta lagoon with the picturesque monastery of Panagia on an island. The trek continues with an impressive beach that looks like our own Voidokoilia where they see a wonderful sunset in the Adriatic. Immediately after, they start the route of the Albanian Riviera, parallel to the sea, and pass the mountain of Logaras, where they walk in the densely forested national forest. They descend from the south side of the mountain, and lead to a coastal route that is considered one of the most beautiful in Europe. Finally, they head to Palasa, Drymades, Chimara and other areas and cities that we will see in the next episode.
We are guided to its center, to the sunny Aristotelous Square, to the crowded beach and of course to the imposing White Tower. They go to Kamara but also to Kapani, to the flower shops and of course to the famous Ladadika, day and night. They admire the umbrellas and the statue of Alexander the Great, skate and bike on the new beach, go boating in Thermaikos and tour the city on a tourist bus. They walk around the castles with the incredible view from where they see the sunset and visit the international tourism exhibition. The episode could not miss the church of Agios Dimitrios, who is also the patron saint of Thessaloniki. They try traditional delicacies of the city such as Thessaloniki bun, bougatsa, Thessaloniki "sandwich", panorama triangle and more! They catch up with the warm-hearted Thessalonians and through the show we understand why this city is so friendly to its visitors.

Happy Traveler travels as a family to the far away country of Asia and starts the tour from Delhi, the capital city, the mega city, which is the second most populous city in the whole planet. They explore new and old Delhi with its historical monuments and chaotic markets. They see the iconic red fort, impressive temples like the Lotus Temple, the Gateway of India, masterfully crafted mausoleums, the Raj Ghat monument dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi and many more. In a country with such a strong culinary identity and interesting national cuisine, our travelers do not fail to try Indian delicacies – very hot food, street food, local drinks and strange sweets that make them love Indian cuisine a little more.
The journey to India continues with a roadtrip in the so-called "golden triangle" and the first stop is the historic Jaipur, also known as the "Pink City" thanks to the special color with which most of the buildings are painted. They see the most important sights of the city, such as the palace of the wind with almost 1000 windows, the palace of the water where 4 of the 5 floors are submerged in the lake, the impressive castle Amber, but also the palace of the royal family in the center of city, with the impressive rooms. In the city center, admire the world's largest sundial and take endless strolls through the markets located in the winding alleys of the old town. Finally, they climb one of the hills around the city to admire the view and see an imposing Hindu temple.
The first Happy Traveler of the new year is winter, it is inside Greece and it is in Pelion. First they make a stop in their favorite city, Volos, where they meet good friends - Timoleon Diamantis and the "Tech it serious" team who introduce them to the secrets of tsipouromezeda. They then ascend to the iconic mountain, where they will stay in its highest settlement, Chania. On this trip, they go to Kefalochori, Zagora, the beautiful Makrynitsa and the historical Draceia. They go up to the ski center of Pelion, from where they can see the Pagasitic Gulf and the Aegean Sea, they go snowboarding and play in the snow as a family. They walk on paths, on mountain slopes and in the picturesque alleys of traditional stone-built settlements. They talk to locals, taste local flavors and admire the immense natural beauty of the mountain that steals the heart of every traveler!
Happy Traveler travels to a special destination, Transnistria. It is a semi-autonomous entity - not officially recognized state - within the territory of Moldova, between the Dniester River and the Ukrainian border. It is an area of Europe that when you visit it as a traveler, you feel like you are traveling in time and going back to the time of the Soviet Union. Eutychis explores the capital Tiraspol with its impressive fountain and historical monuments. It passes through the town of Bender which was a battlefield in the 1992 war of independence and admires the famous Tighina castle which was a bone of contention in the Russo-Turkish wars. He learns about the history of Transnistria and why it has two names. He encounters over ten statues of Lenin and a very impressive statue of Prometheus while eating delicious but very cheap food in a "Soviet canteen".
Our travelers go to Ranthambhore National Park on safari in the hope of seeing tigers up close. In the neighboring town, they climb high on cliffs to see impressive Hindu temples inside caves while at night they spend the night in a very special room - tent. Further along the route, they stop and see a very strange huge stepped well, where they have been collecting water during the monsoons for centuries. Soon after, they stroll through the impressive red city of Fatehpur Sikri and admire the imposing palaces. The last stop on their route is the city of Agra, home to the historic Agra Fort and the majestic Taj Mahal! The world-famous attraction, considered one of the most important architectural creations and included in the World Heritage Sites.
Our travelers drive parallel to the shores of the Ionian Sea opposite Corfu and visit historical sites and places of particular natural beauty as well as villages with a strong Greek element. They descend from the Logaras pass and the Akrokeraunia Mountains and go to the village of Palasa and the village of Drymades. Next is Heimarra with its beautiful beaches and the imposing castle where the old village is located perched on the rock. They also see the historic Greek school "Homeros" and meet many Greek expatriates who live there. The next stop on their journey is Kiparos where, in addition to walking, talking with locals and eating in the center of the village, they climb up to the old settlement which is perhaps the most beautiful and picturesque settlement of the entire area. They then pass through Bors or Borsi, where they see the impressive castle on top of the hill, make a stop at Pikerni or Pikerasi and finally reach Lukovo.
Our travelers start their walk from the historic monastery of Agioi Saranda, from which the city takes its name. After admiring the seaside town from above, they go a little further south to the other hill with a view, where the Lekoursi castle is located. In this castle they also meet their friend Leonidas, who lives there permanently and gives them a lot of interesting information about the city of Saint Saranda and the history of the area. Next stop, Finiki, which is also the seat of one of the two municipalities in southern Albania with an officially recognized Greek minority. They climb to the top of the rock, to see the ancient city of Phoenice and go to eat in a traditional tavern of the area. They visit the historical monastery of Agios Nikolaos of Mesopotamos and the Holy Monastery of Panagia on the mountain next to the village of Kostari. Next stops, the village of Livadeia and some more remote villages on the mountains, such as Grava.
Eutychis and Electra start from Examili, opposite Corfu. They explore the islets of the area and go for a swim on the island of "Jamaica" with its "double" beach. They visit one of the most important archaeological sites in Albania, Vuthroto, the ancient city with its Hellenistic, Roman, Ottoman and Venetian past. Then they go on the road to Argyrokastro and on the way they stop at Galazio Mati with the underground springs that create eddies. Their journey continues in historic Argyrokastro with its emblematic castle and the old town with its imposing mansions. In the heart of the valley of the river Drinos, they come across a Roman city that was built on the site of the ancient Drynopolis or Dryinoupolis, from which the municipality of Dropolis takes its name. They visit Dervitsani where they talk with locals and go to Vanista, where they enter a very mysterious cave, called "Skotini".
They depart from Ho Chi Minh City, also known as Saigon, and fly to the city of Da Nang in the center of the country. They explore the old capital of the country, Hoi An with its traditional architecture, beautiful temples, the famous Japanese bridge and the characteristic river, which they go for a ride in a traditional round fishing boat. They visit one of the most important ancient cities of Indochina, My Son, which was bombed by the Americans during the Vietnam War. Then they go to the largest theme park in the country, Ba Na Hills. They enter the longest continuous cable car in the world and ascend to 1,500 meters where they have built a castle-state with towers, amusement parks, imposing temples and vast gardens. There they cross one of the most famous bridges in the world: the Golden Bridge with "huge hands" that leaves them speechless with its architecture!
This episode finds our travelers in central Vietnam and the city of Da Nang. They wake up at dawn to walk on the huge beach and to admire the hundreds of fishing boats that are moored in the city's bay. They go to monkey mountain and admire the huge statue of the female Buddhist deity of mercy, also known as Lady Buddha. They go to the "marble mountains" with impressive cave temples and a food market where they try local Vietnamese food. They then head further north to the city of Ninh Binh where they boat down the Trang An River, amidst a dreamy landscape of lush green steep limestone cliffs with 1,000-year-old caves and temples. In this area, around 600 steps are also climbed to reach the impressive "dragon's top". Happy Traveler's Vietnam itinerary is full of breathtaking images and enchanting landscapes, each stop holds unique surprises and exciting experiences.
This Saturday with Happy Traveler we return after 7 years to the eternal city for a special mission: To try to see in 24 hours everything a traveler visiting the capital of Italy must see. We will make it; Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Vatican, Colosseum and so many other iconic sights that hardly fit into 24 hours. And of course we will try infinite delicacies of "Cucina Romana"! In the first part, Euthychis visits the capital city of Lima with its picturesque historic center and impressive coastline on the Pacific Ocean, while walking through different neighborhoods of the city and exploring the local markets. He then heads south to the Pisco region and boards a small plane to view the famous Nazca lines and massive formations from above. In the fishing village of Parakas, he goes boating to the Balestas islands and enjoys Peruvian fish and seafood delicacies. Our travelers start their tour from the iconic arch - a trademark of the city. They see the historic center with buildings of special architecture, many of which have been built during the period when India was under the occupation of the British Empire. They wander through chaotic markets trying local delicacies, enter the historic train station and go to the laundromat neighborhood, where the endless spread of clothes creates an unprecedented travel image. Finally, they take a boat to "Elephant" Island in the center of Bombay Bay, where they explore caves with Hindu temples and visit a small village where they experience the daily life of the locals up close.

They also reach the deserted Lefki beach and the seal cave in Alkyonides Bay. They climb the Geraneia Mountains and visit the Holy Monastery of Saint Patapios. They pass through Pisia and Perachora and reach Lake Vouliagmeni where they take a dip in its warm waters. They go hiking in the Aoos Gorge, visit the historic Monastery of Panagia Stomio and cross the wire footbridge that is over the narrowest and most impressive point of the river. They reach the border with Albania, in the village of Molyvdoskepastos with the monastery of the same name, and go to Burazani to see deer up close. Afterwards, they stroll through picturesque villages built in lush green landscapes, taste local food and experience authentic Epirus hospitality to the fullest.
Happy Traveler, in the previous episode, visited the beautiful and picturesque Konitsa. Eutychis and Elektra continue their journey in this region, to the north of the prefecture of Ioannina and explore the unrepeatable beauty of Mastorochoria on the southern slopes of Grammos. They cross the Sarandaporos river and visit the traditional mountain villages of craftsmen with their authentic stone houses of continental architecture, such as Ganadio, the village of Pyrsoyianni and the picturesque Kastaniani. They also go up to the village of Amarantos with its thermal baths and the incredible view towards the Pindos mountain range, while on the way they see a waterfall and the historic Tree Church of Agios Paisios. Continuing their trek in this arid region of Greece, they continue even further north and pass through the village of Theotoko and the village of Kefalochori, to end up in Aetomilitsa which is one of the highest - if not the highest - village in Greece.
They go to Eptachori where they see an old watermill and an old picturesque arched bridge. Then they drive on one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Greece to reach Nea Kotyli, where the guesthouse they will stay at is located at an altitude of 1450 meters. The next morning they pass through the village of Pefko and climb up towards one of the most mountainous undeveloped villages of our country, the village of Grammos, also known as Grammousta. From there they start the route up the mountain to reach the highest lake in Greece, the alpine dragon lake Gistova. They continue hiking to the top of Grammos, the fourth highest mountain in Greece, and "conquer" the peak of Tsouka Petsik at 2,520 meters. Returning to Nea Kotili, they pass the National Reconciliation Park and the imposing Gremos of Haros with its breathtaking vertical white rocks. They also take a walk in the center of Nea Kotyli and then go down to Nestorio for a dip in the cool waters of the Aliakmonas River.
The beginning takes place in one of the top islands, Paros. Our travelers explore the beautiful island of the Cyclades in two episodes and bring our holidays even closer. In the first part, they explore the capital Parikia with its picturesque alleys, the fairytale Naoussa with its Venetian castle and the north and east side of the island. They ride in the beautiful Cycladic landscape and reach Chrysi beach with lots of wind and numerous surfers. In the second part, they explore the center of the island and visit picturesque mountain villages such as Lefkes, which do not resemble the Cycladic landscape at all. They also see the area where the ancient quarries of Paros were located, reach the monastery of Agioi Anargyro with the best view on the island and enjoy a wonderful sunset in Parikia. They then see the eastern and southern sides of the island reaching the salt flats, from where they board a traditional boat for an experience of a lifetime with dinner in the most romantic setting as the sun sets on the horizon. In this episode, they also go on a day trip to Antiparos where they are impressed with the beaches, the caves and the puppet country with the alleys and the welcoming people. After the beautiful Paros, Happy Traveler travels to the largest island of the Cyclades, Naxos, with the aim of exploring it from end to end. In the first part, Eutychis and Electra visit the country of Naxos with its historic castle and beautiful alleys and see the west coast with its picturesque villages and potato fields. Then, they drive towards the northernmost end with the aim of reaching the village of Apollonas and in between they visit semi-mountainous villages with traditional cuisine, ancient quarries, an abandoned monastery and by hiking they reach the waterfall of Routsounas. Naxos, however, still has a lot to offer our travelers and SKAI viewers, and that is why the exploration of the island will continue in the next episode.
An episode about Naxos with its countless natural beauties, picturesque villages and enchanting beaches is not enough. That is why Happy Traveler travelers continue to explore the largest island of the Cyclades. Eutychis and Elektra, in the second part of the journey, see the center of Naxos with the famous villages of Halki and Filoti. They are impressed by the imposing towers and from the path they go up to the mythical cave of Za, on the highest mountain of Naxos. Then, they drive to the special Apeiranthos and the most unspoiled touristic southeast side of the island, where they are charmed by the unique beaches, the green waters and the hospitable inhabitants. Eutychis and Electra land in Heraklia, Schinoussa and Donoussa. In Heraklia, they see the main settlements of the island, the most beautiful beaches, the old castle and the impressive cave of Cyclops as well as the cave of Agios Ioannis. They meet locals and take a boat to the south side to see the famous Alimnia Bay with the WWII sunken plane. In Schinoussa, they walk through the picturesque countryside, visit many of the island's idyllic beaches, see beautiful churches, admire Cycladic windmills and taste local delicacies. In Donoussa, they stroll through the central settlement, walk to the heavenly Kedros beach and then reach Kalotaritissa with its picturesque village and incredibly beautiful beach. The first part of the trip to the small Cyclades ends at Trypiti beach of Donoussa with the impressive cave in the rock.
Our travelers continue their summer trip to the Cyclades and their next destination is the heavenly Koufonisia, one of the most popular destinations of recent years. They arrive by boat at the port and immediately face Ammos beach in front of the central settlement, one of the best beaches in Greece. They explore the tiny Ano Koufonissi from end to end, wander the country's alleys and go to the highest point of the island to enjoy the view. They admire the picturesque chapel of the Prophet Elias without a roof, reach places with impressive rock formations, take a dip in a natural pool and go hiking to reach the Eye of the Devil, the impressive cave that looks like a crater with water coming out of it sea. By inflatable, they go to Keros and by boat to Kato Koufonissi for a walk and food.
This week we are traveling to Amorgos. Arriving, the first thing we see is Katapola, which we will simultaneously explore together with the neighboring rachidi and the Wood Hornbill. In the afternoon we will go for a walk in the picturesque country with the narrow alleys, the impressive castle on the rock and the classic Cycladic windmills on the ridge above the settlement. The next day we will start the exploration of southern Amorgos. We will go to Mouros beach with its turquoise waters and steep cliffs. We will see the village of Vourtsi with the ancient Arkesini and after tasting local flavors in the new Arkesini we will continue to Kalofana, Agia Paraskevi Monastery and paradise beach. Then we will go down to the imposing wreck of Olympia and we will end up in Kalotaritissa, one of the most impressive spots of Amorgos. We will conclude this episode with our visit to the Holy Monastery of Panagia Chozoviotissa and the idyllic little beach of Agia Anna.
Happy Traveler continues its summer excursion to beautiful Amorgos and in the second episode, on Saturday 29 July, it explores the northern side of the island. Our travelers go to the abandoned ghost village of Asfontylitis and then visit the traditional settlement of Tholaria as well as Lagada which is located at the edge of the Araklos gorge and is surrounded by high mountains. From there, they arrive in Aegiali where they will stay for the time they will be in North Amorgos. They go to the beach of Agios Pavlos and from there take a boat to the island opposite, Nikouria. They hike to the barren northern part of the island to see the Holy Monastery of Saint John the Theologian. Finally, they climb up to Prophet Ilias, in the center of the island, to see the sunrise and admire from there, all of Amorgos and the endless blue of the Aegean!
Our travelers close this year with a magical episode in the "Butterfly of the Aegean", as Astypalaia is called, due to its special shape. They arrive by boat and admire the port and the impressive Chora of the island with its picturesque alleys and historic churches such as Panagia Portaitissa. They see the windmills but also the great castle, learning about the history of the island from ancient times to the present day. They explore interesting locations, heavenly beaches and beautiful villages of Astypalaia as well as churches built in unlikely places. They reach Vathi and go by boat to see one of the most unique beaches of the Aegean, Kounoupa and Koutsomyti. Finally, they are impressed by the Red Rock with its hidden cave and deep blue waters.
First trip for this year, the distant and exotic Philippines, where in the first part, on Saturday September 16, we explore the impressive and historic capital Manila.
The 9th season of Happy Traveler on SKAI started in the exotic Philippines. A country that has excited Eutychis and Electra. This episode begins by exploring the largest food market in downtown Manila, where our travelers discover special foods and taste local flavors. They then hop into a car for a road trip to beautiful locations outside the capital. They visit the Taal Lake area with its impressive volcano and the picturesque seaside town of Talisay with its huge central market. They continue to Laguna Lake and specifically to the town they call the Athens of Laguna, Pagsanjan, named after the river of the same name where they will take a boat upstream to reach the iconic Magdapio Falls, below which lies the so-called devil's cave.
Happy Traveler travels to the largest island of Saronic, Salamina. Known worldwide for her naval combat and famous within her borders for her simplicity and beauty. Eutychis and Electra, before leaving for the island, go to see the throne of Xerxes above Perama. It was the location from where the Persian king watched the naval battle of Salamis in September 480 BC. By boat from Perama they arrive at Palukia, the main port of Salamina next to the naval station. They see the islet of Agios Georgios and Kamatero while then they will reach the hill where the ancient city of Salamis was located. Immediately after, they descend towards the ancient port and the monument of the Paiana of Salaminomachi as well as the impressive Tomb of Salaminomachi which dominates the spot where the largest part of the historical Naval Battle took place.
Happy Traveler embarks on a journey to exotic Kenya and for three episodes, SKAI viewers will have the opportunity to see enchanting images, wildlife in its natural environment, impressive animals and the way of life of the inhabitants in one of the most exciting African countries. In the first part, our travelers explored the country's capital, Nairobi. In the second part, Eutychis and Elektra go out of town to visit some of Kenya's most popular locations. The Happy Traveler embarks on a historical road trip and visits important locations that played a pivotal role in the 1940s saga. Our travelers start from Athens and from the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. Later, they visit the "House of No" in Kifissia, i.e. the house of Ioannis Metaxas, where they meet his granddaughter who gives them interesting information about the night when Metaxas said the historic "NO" to the Italian ambassador. The continuation of the trek takes place in the holy lands of Epirus, where important battles of the Greek-Italian war took place in 1940. Greek-Albanian border, Kalpaki, Burazani, Konitsa are just some of the locations where some of the most important pages of Greek history were written. The tribute to October 28 will continue in the next episode, when Happy Traveler will, among other things, visit locations in Albania, where battles took place during the Italian invasion.

From Epirus, which our travelers visited last Saturday, they cross the border and explore parts of neighboring Albania where important battles were fought by the Greek army in the counterattack against the Italians in the area of Northern Epirus. Eutychis and Elektra return to Greece with a trek dedicated to the country's fifth highest mountain. They circle the mountain passing through the historic Amfissa, formerly known as Salona. They go "into the mountain", into the mines of Fokida, and with the miners' wagon go 500 meters into the heart of Giona to learn all about the mining history of the mountain. They see the artificial lake of Mornos that was created in the 1980s to cover the capital's water supply needs. They arrive at Lidoriki, which went down in history as a stronghold of the fighters of Roumeli in the revolution of 1821. They pass through the village of Sykia, which is one of the villages with the most impressive location in all of Greece, and finally arrive at Kaloskopi, where they spend the night. Finally, they start to conquer another peak and after an adventurous hike with too much wind, they will set foot on the pyramid-summit at an altitude of 2508 meters.

They drive parallel to the coast and pass through the idyllic Polignano al Mare with its impressive caves. Next stop, Monopoli and the beautiful Alberobello with its characteristic domes. The first overnight stay is in Otranto, also known as "Hydrousa" with its picturesque port. The next day they descend to the tip of the "boot heel of Italy", and then pass through Gallipoli and Lecce, also called the Florence of the South. There they also visit the village of Kalimera, which is one of the Greek-speaking villages of the Salento peninsula, also known as Grecia Salentina.
Happy Traveler continues the journey to the South of the neighboring country exploring other unique locations. Eutyches and Electra start from Taranto, the ancient Greek colony of the Spartans and leave behind the region of Apulia to enter further west, in the region of Vasilikata. They tour the emblematic Metara with its cave houses and churches inside caves. They see Gravina with its impressive aqueduct bridge and ancient necropolis. They go to the ghost village of Krakos but also to the coast to see the city of Metaponto and the ancient Greek temple of Hera. They stay on a traditional farm in the center of the fertile plain and try many local delicacies. They then drive west to Calabria where they admire the picturesque seaside town of Scylla, pass Rigio in Calabria and head towards the tip of "Italy's boot", to see some of the most famous Greek-speaking villages of Lower Italy.
They visit the two most famous Greek-speaking villages of Calabria, Bova known in Greek as "Vouas" where they stroll through the narrow streets and admire the view from the top of the rock, where the old castle is located. This village, the land of Bois, is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. They then see the abandoned old Rahudi as well as some impressive natural sights such as the dragon rock. In the other famous Greek-speaking village of Calabria, Galliciano, they meet locals and feel as if they are in a village inside Greece. Finally, Eutychis and Electra also visit the historic Krotons, one of the ancient Greek cities of Great Greece that was famous for its tradition in sports as well as the sciences, since Pythagoras founded his school there. They see the most important sights of the city, what remains of the Temple of Hera at "Capo Colona" and one of the most impressive castles in southern Italy.
Happy Traveler's family is in Southeast Asia and embarks on an impressive exploration in Malaysia. In the first part, the journey starts from the country's capital, Kuala Lumpur. They start their walks in the city center and visit the historical buildings dating back to the time of the British occupation and walk along the "colonial walk" and the largest parks in the area. They climb the Petronas Twin Towers to see Malaysia's most famous building up close and enjoy the fantastic view. The evening walk holds pleasant surprises for them as they see the wonderful lighting of the Towers, the square and the fountain in front of them, but also a futuristic bridge with colorful lighting that constantly changes and impresses them. The next day, they go to the "greenest part of the city" with the Botanic Gardens - home to more than 10,000 species of plants - and the National Monument of Malaysia.
In Part II, they continue their exploration with even more rides, activities and tastes. They venture just outside the capital Kuala Lumpur to visit perhaps the country's most famous attraction, the Batu Caves. It is a complex of caves, functioning as a place of worship with successive Hindu temples - the most important outside India. The entrance is dominated by the gilded statue of the deity Murugan, 42.7 meters high, while to get inside the caves you have to climb 272 colorful steps. They continue their exploration through the jungle and arrive at Kanching Park with its stunning tiered waterfalls. On their way back to Kuala Lumpur, they go to the central market followed by a food tour of the neighbourhoods, where they try many strange but delicious local foods. At the end of the episode, they visit the majestic Buddhist temple Thean Hou Temple.

The third part of the trip to the Southeast Asian country includes a special trek to its most historic and charming city, Melaka. They admire the red square, go boating on the river and walk in the historical center with the beautiful temples. Finally, they talk to locals and learn first-hand the history of the city and why it is considered one of the most beautiful in this region of Asia. Sea, sun and history become one on this island with Mediterranean beauty, impressive landscapes, enchanting beaches, special gastronomy and tourist resorts with thousands of visitors. In the first part, they start from Calabria and take a boat to Messina to visit the picturesque Taormina with its impressive ancient theater and Naxos, the ancient Greek colony. Next, they move towards the iconic Etna volcano. They take the cable car up to see the eerie landscape of the craters and enter a volcanic cave created by the passage of lava. In this episode, they also go to one of the most beautiful natural landscapes of the island, the Alcantara river and canyon with the rocks created by volcanic activity that look like sculptures. The trek continues further south to Katani and the ancient necropolis of Pantelika with its thousands of rock-hewn tombs.
They start from Syracuse, the most important city of Greater Greece and home of the famous Archimedes. Then they go to the archeological site with the ancient theater, the famous cave called "Ear of Dionysus" and the place where Archimedes is said to have been buried after his death. Next stop, the city of Enna, built on top of a mountain. A historic city that is also called the navel of Sicily and is the same distance from the 3 coasts of the island. There they see the impressive fortress and the iconic rock on which is said to have once been a temple of the goddess Demeter. The journey continues to Akraganta and the so-called Valley of the Temples, where one of the most well-preserved ancient Greek temples in the world is preserved. They admire the immense beauty of the landscape, learning the history of the place and taking a small trip back in time. A journey to an area where the Greek spirit flourished and flourished 2,500 thousand years ago.
Our travelers, in this episode, start from Selinounda to see the ruins of another historic city of Great Greece, but also one of the best preserved ancient Greek temples. They continue to exit to the north of the island, passing through Segesta, where there is an archaeological park with the Acropolis, the Ancient Theater and one of the most beautiful Doric temples in the world. Happy Traveler embarks on an impressive roadtrip, to Namibia in South Africa. They take a plane first to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and then to Namibia's capital and largest city, Windhoek. They explore the city, seeing the sights and learning the history of the country. They complete the "Windhoek Marathon" and go to a local but non-touristy market, where they see common foods of the region and taste meat from a classic African "meat bar". They then trek north to visit Namibia's most popular safari National Park, Etosha, where they see wild animals in their natural habitat. One of the highlights of the trip is when they are in front of a large herd of elephants, swimming, playing and taking…sand baths before the amazed eyes of our travelers.
In the second part, they visit a traditional Himba village, one of the last nomadic tribes of the African continent. They see the traditional houses and learn about their clothing, special headdress and their daily life. Next, they go to the Damara region of Twyfelfontein to see the famous rock carvings of animals made by the indigenous people of the area thousands of years ago. They also see an impressive petrified forest of petrified trees that came to the area by rivers from Central Africa millions of years ago. The trek continues along the coast to the Atlantic Ocean, home to the vast Namib Desert, from which the country takes its name. They explore the world-famous Skeleton Coast, where they see a huge colony of seals. This episode ends at one of the many shipwrecks that can be seen on the country's endless coastline.
Our travelers depart from Walvis Bay, the country's largest port where they board a catamaran for sailing on the Atlantic Ocean. They see shellfish farms, seals and pelicans, and the distinctive lighthouse at Pelican Point. Admire the endless flamingos in the Walvis Bay lagoon and get into a 4x4 for an epic ride on the dunes of the famous Sandwich Harbour, part of the Skeleton Coast, an area where the towering 150m sand dunes meet the wild Atlantic Ocean. They then drive inland and in the desert stop at an isolated lonely village, Solitaire. Finally the most spectacular landscape of the country, Sossusvlei, where the giant red sand dunes combined with the dry yellow lake and petrified trees. They stay at one of the most special hotels they've stayed in the show's 10 years and see a sunset they'll remember for a long time, as well as the galaxy at night in the starry sky.
