Guerrero is the best character EVER!
A great short series, to watch in a burst, to love and then to hate because you want more, much more.
Absolutely loved this show and then - typical FOX - "oh, the viewers like it so let's cancel it". Idiots. They took a great show and tossed it after only two seasons. Yet another reason to never watch anything FOX brings to the small screen.
Season 1 was great and Guerrero is awesome, Jackie Earl Haley is fantastic. Mark Valley was a great Christopher Chance and the first season was so much fun. It had a lot of depth with the Junior/Senior story and the off the books approach to how it worked. I also really liked the backstory of how he became Christopher Chance. So Good! . . . but then Season 2 ruined everything. Indira played the Ilsa Pucci character quite well but the problem is that character sucks. Pucci pretty much ruins the show and throws away the cool factor by trying to "go legit" the reason why the Human Target concept is cool is because of the underground nature of it. The stupid plot about Pucci running an "honest business" is so awful it ruins the series. Season 1 is still very watchable and fun but Season 2 is a dumpster fire that makes the show boring . . . other than Guerrero still being a badass. This show could have been so good and had at least 6 seasons and a movie but nope, it felt like a Studio Executive forcing dumb decisions due to "trying to do what's best for the show" while also having no business even being in the room.
