Organic dairy farm and more between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains
For 37 years, farmer Elke Haas has been running the dairy farm with her husband Klaus in Neuried-Altenheim. About 90 dairy cows belong to the farm, which has been certified organic since 2017. All calves born on the farm also stay on the farm and are raised cow-tied. The natural life of the cows with their calves is very important to the family, even if it means they have to make big losses in the amount of milk they can deliver to the dairy.
