This show has gone really downhill, not liking this new and last season at all
Please just put Naomi in a closet and forget about her for the rest of the show.
MODERATION EDIT: Don't use those words here.
The action sequences in this show are directed in a very odd way. I watched that gunfight about 10 times without any idea what actually happened. If it's designed to be confusing, then it's working well.
Not the best episode overall, but it feels like it's building to something.
Well this pushed the story forward just enough so I wouldn't panic whether they can finish it in time. Bringing the crew together was nice, Chrissy was amazing even with barely 5 minutes of screen time ("You give a really good guilt trip / I practice a lot when I'm alone."), but I gotta say, my favourite person was Marco's right hand man, that woman came out of nowhere and truly got to me. I'd say with UN forces attacking and Stuart and Drummer forging a rebellion Marco's forces will largely be dealt with in the next two episodes max., and then I can finally get to know what the fuck is going on on Laconia, because it's getting really annoying to be blindsided now.
I had actually STOPPED watching this a while ago, but jumped back in at Season 6x1 cuz there wasn't anything "interesting" on. Well, roll me in flour and call me a biscuit, was I ever surprised at how much better this show had gotten. Two episodes in, ( Dagnabbit, now I have to go play catch up) and both had me not wanting the episode to be over so soon, which, dammit Jim, it will be in 4 more episodes. Everyone seems to be bringing their "A" game to the final season, which hopefully, will lead to many of them landing elsewhere, preferably in a Sci-Fi Genre show.
It still feels like it's going a little bit slow with only four episodes left but it was great nonetheless.
The best thing was of course Bobbie rejoining the crew of the Roccinante :) I was hoping that this would eventually happen but I thought it would take at least one more episode for Bobbie to get to them. Glad I was wrong. With Bobbie and her Martian armor suit this brought quite some interesting action (even if her jump to the other ship felt like a huge stretch... :D). Anyway, some great/fun dialogues between the crew members as well. I also really liked the conversation between Avasarala and Monica at the end. Avasarala knows how to get things done :D
PS: Holden calling Clarissa Peaches was awkward. And her becoming part of the crew was a little bit unexpected but she did a really good jobs so far - it's just that her past actions are hard to forgive.
And I wonder if/how those stories with Cara at the beginning will become relevant. IMO they have a lot of potential but it feels like there's too little time. I also wonder how much they know about this planet. That little girl doesn't seem to be afraid of the animals at all... And this rockhopper(?) isn't small. And I wonder if he's really eating the bird (which seems the most likely) of if there's more to it.
Another episode with random first five minutes of some girl. Still confused.
Great episode.. highly enjoyed the Space Tag game LOL
the chasing sequence was fun
Also welcome aboard Bobbie, missed this badass
Not feeling the intro sections with this kid on the planet. Absolutely cannot act and really unnatural stage actions as well.
Damn good to have Bobbie back and doing what she does best - being an absolute badass!
this is so boring, i am going to give it 2/10.

I usually always have many good things to say about The Expanse, and it saddens me that I don't have lots of good to say about this episode. It feels almost like filler episode. Like in the first episode, the scene with the girl and the animals took way too much time (more than 5 minutes) - it almost feels like a Walking Dead filler episode.
The action scene is nice, but the scene with Clarissa/Peaches on steroid have been very weirdly directed in the last 2 seasons. What happened to the fast-paced tiger brawl like when she was first introduced? The effect is really poorly done - they could've learned a thing or two from how Dennis Villeneuve directed Bene Gesserit's The Voice to evoke something that is visually strong.
The only redeeming point here is Drummer's crew interaction with the old guy, which makes a good dynamic and illustrate what's been going on since Marco's uprising. This is particularly important considering the world building has been very lackluster since Season 5, which is a disappointment. Considering in this final season they only have 6 episodes. I was expecting it to be more dense given the limited episode. Alas, this is what we got.
