The show runners seem to be confused. This is The Last Ship, not Game of Thrones. Stop killing everyone. And what's with all the Mochale Bay style explosions this season?
The writers went exactly where I predicted, and it was thus not very interesting. This season is OK for watching mindlessly, I guess. If you pay attention, you'll see everything coming miles away, though.
Saw that coming from a mile away. Boooooring.
Oh come on!!! Why Alisha??
She was super useful and nice.
I don't like this.
You better not kill Wolf too.
Poor Alisha, poor Alisha, poor Alisha
My first thought when I saw Alisha's new gf on the season premiere was oh boy, this is not gonna end well (she seemed way too clingy and curious not to be somewhat suspicious). Poor Alisha had the worst luck and taste when it came to romance. Never thought she'd end up dead, though. That was a total surprise. I would've thought she'd put up more of a fight. Aren't people in the armed forces trained in at least some type of hand to hand combat technique? Or at the very least self defense? It was lame for her to die so dumbly after 4 seasons (at least the Doc and Engineer Boss Lady died in combat).
What actually, truly surprised me, though, was how easily that battleship put the Nathan James out of commission. I mean, they literally didn't even see it coming. That's never happened before! How is it that they couldn't even track whatever hit them? How?
And Tavo is getting on my last nerve. The last two episodes he's been acting like a spoiled child throwing a tantrum. Seriously. The only thing missing was him stomping his foot. But I find it interesting how the one who controls everything by pulling strings from behind the curtain is the wife. She's the real evil mastermind here, and the one with all the real power. Mark my words.
Wow, last season so no one has been safe.

LOL, the plot was obvious from episode 1. You could tell Kelsi was the problem that was going to go wrong. Sorry, but this was NO dramatic reveal. Even the entire 'fight' scene with Kelsi was boring, predictable and umm.....boring. At least Granderson is finally gone, though her character has been cardboard from season 1.
