This episode is a 9 just for the Taishi swimsuit reaction alone! (and for Chika's play of it too, of course)
I don't think I've ever been this bored watching a show with so many sex scenes. But then again I've never seen Fifty Shades.
This is interminably slow and I watch it on 1.4x speed.
I'm seeing some negative reactions in here. Well, I quite liked it tbh. Had me glued to the screen the whole time. Maybe I don't remember the quality of seasons 1-5 or maybe I'm just happy with little, who knows. Everyone seems to hate this season and I have to say I'm not 100% happy with it. BUT. I really liked this episode. Anyway, what can I say.
If you enjoy watching people gawking at things, smiling at things and generally being awkward every scene I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
For me it was yet another dredge through a swamp of annoyance as I see unlikable characters speak out of term, nonsensical plots revolvin around one person's rebellious and arrogant persona and lackluster solutions to said "problems". The humor falls flat, the canon is fucked, goddammit.
I liked the Georgiu scenes cause she seems to be more like the viewer and I enjoyed people finally putting Burnham in her place even though if it were me she would be thrown in the darkest and deepest brigg.
And yes, I know: Why do you watch it then? And honestly I do not know. Masochism I guess.
If you didnt cry for Data, even if you saw what he was doing coming, then screw you bruh! The gang is back together for one final round, and if you don't get why that's awesome, get the fuck outa here!
Broke in and out of prison in less than 48 hours? Eat your heart out Michael Scofield!
I shouldnt say this, but this Daemon-Rhaenyra thing turned me on.
Every episode this season is absolutely Terrible! CBS, please just stop! Discovery is done. I love the Star Trek shows & this ain’t it! Just call this prog discovery & leave the Star Trek bit off, coz discovery isn’t even close to the high standards the normal Star Trek series has set.
WAHRHEITEN
-5-
How did I not see that? O.o
As soon as Mikkel open up that present and it was the book, I knew.
What the fuck.
What an awesome Twist!
Did not see that one coming...
And he killed himself, because otherwise he wouldn't have traveled back through time in the first place.
So he forced himself literally into Suicide... O.o
Poor boy.
At first I felt kinda sorry for Hannah...
At first. If I would have known that she was a bitch since, I don't know... always!
Horrible person.
I saw that Preacher and i knew something isn't right with him.
And then he told Mikkel he was Noah. It shocked me.
And then he was in the car. Same fucking age! O.o
Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!
"Ich möchte mich mit Ihnen über Zeit unterhalten."
I think we all whant to talk about time right now! XD
Brilliant Episode! Didn't expected this kind of complexity.
Love it.
The Sun, Moon and stars all aligned. This episode and season are some of the best Trek I’ve watched in a long time.
I liked how they addressed the subplot of M'Benga's daughter versus miraculously finding a cure for her and it was clearly a chance for the actors to show some different, sillier sides to themselves. Hard disagree with the low-rated comments -- this episode clearly embodied the spirit of TOS.
I don't see why many are still confused and hate the timeline. Yeah it's all mixed but it's intentional and the bigger picture is worth it when all the perspectives are shown in the end. You don't have to be a Sherlock to understand this show wtf
Now we don't need to have a black screen saying present and past or X days/years later now do we?
AND IT'S CONFIRMED!! You don't understand how much I enjoyed hearing Eugene (from Mr. Sunshine)'s voice come out from behind that mask during these episodes ahaha.
Lev from The Last of Us 2!
Oh come on... what an over-convenient plot twist to make Maeve leave her phone so that Isaac could delete the message. I thought this show was better than this.
I hope Darhk slaughters Felicity.
Dragon ball GT is not true now
Great starting.
Whoever didn't catch the Sarah Connor line from the actual man himself should be banned from the site!
Don’t listen to the people saying DD is “ruined” from this episode, apparently they’ve never read the comics OR remember the show (or expect someone to dump all their trauma onto a character they just met in a legal comedy? Some people are really writing these reviews without a single actual critical lens).
This was a fun episode and I had a great time - though one of my biggest criticisms is the overarching plot that they’ve been trying to establish. It has a lot of potential, but the pacing of this storyline has been off for me the entire show. Besides the CGI it’s one of my biggest gripes, and I felt it again towards the end of this episode. There’s only one episode left and I really don’t know that it’s going to get concluded in a way I feel is satisfying, though that’s something I’ll have to wait until the finale to properly review.
Besides that though I had such a great time - it was SO great seeing Matt again and Leapfrog was a funny inclusion. Despite my above reservations I’m excited for the finale and seeing how this is going to go.
How can they release a crap like Obi Wan and then Andor which is damn amazing. This episode was a masterclass.
Honestly this might be my favourite episode so far, although I have pretty much been feeling that way for every new episode. What could have been a fairly clichéd and generic "alt universe/role reversal" story was elevated by the beautifully emotional conclusion to an ongoing plot thread. I was expecting to laugh going in, but I certainly did not think I would end the episode in tears.
I miss this type of episodes in Star Trek, I'm glad to see it brought back. Not only that, this was a good way to end the arc of the doctor and his daughter, neatly tied to the book too.
I hope this is not the end of the his daughter's story and they'll revisit her in the next seasons. There are questions to be answered and possibilities to explore regarding the nebula. Was it something like the Prophets in DS9? Time is irrelevant? But they're stuck in one place?
Who knows. But I for one would like to know more about it.
Thank you. I love this episode.
What changed in 2024? Q made Trump win.
Nailing the look and feel of the original. Love this! I get it, I'm a fan of the original animation as well, and nothing will ever take its place but I think this is a worthy adaptation. Only thing I'd change is Vicious.
Let's bring The Hammer down !
O_O
I keep wondering how horny she is and then i remember how i would be almost touching myself over hot actors lmao
Michelle Yeoh is just so damn good in every scene she's in. She was an excellent bit of casting. This was a really fun episode and so far I'm loving this season.
I really dislike that brat Campion.
Funny how it's all been built up to you cheering for the tailies, but then you get this far, and you, or at least I, can't say entirely that I don't feel Melanie is doing a good job with what she's doing. So the idea of complete chaos or her being thrown under the train, figuratively speaking, isn't appealing to me either.
Now they're all like "I want her to pay, I want her to pay", not realising the simple fallacy that what you're trying to make her pay for is her taking over Wilford's job, and keeping y'all goddamn alive ffs. Maybe rather strictly so, but that might just all have been exactly like Wilford would have done. People being all like boohoo you deceived us is just stupid.
