I have no idea what the intention was with this episode. Was hoping for a cool Meg story which this wasn't.
The Chase commercial was good, though.
Damn Kev what a way to end an episode
That was actually a really good episode.
Literal chills. Wow. This is gonna wreck me.
This first episode gave me more chills than a horror movie  I'm really looking forward to see the next episodes!
The end scene is a genuine rush of adrenaline, and those 3 men are true heroes!
I don't know what someone dying from radiation poisoning looks like, but what they showed this episode was absolutely terrifying. They looked like they were liquefying from the inside out. Also, the description itself was super unsettling. How crazy is it that energy can literally make your cells break apart?
Each episode I watch makes want to learn more and more about the true story. As a scientist myself, I find it so interesting and compelling. And I can't help wondering what we could do differently if something like this happened tomorrow. Would we act quicker? Is there a better way of containing a nuclear disaster? Everything considered, and if what they've presented in the show so far is true, the Chernobyl accident wasn't nearly as devastating as it could have been.
Very accurate in its portrayal of the USSR and believable in its depiction of desperation, the series looks really promising. I enjoyed the episode more than most of the series I've been watching lately.
It’s not filled with new revelations which feel significant. It’s more a crystallisation of Walt’s state of mind and for me very satisfying. The scene in which Jesse was up on the ladder and Walt nearly at the point of both sleep and admitting that he stood by while Jane choked was fascinating. Jesse smacking Walt in the face with his fly swatter was appropriate revenge while Walt’s initial tumble was a moment waiting to happen.
Why would you like to live in a home with that many mirrors:cold_sweat:
If you didn't enjoy the episode then it just means that you don't enjoy some good character development. The ending was phenomenal, I really hope they eventually get to the point where Walter reveals the fact that he let Jane die, that conversation is just waiting to happen.
Um, that orchestra of zombies is easily the best thing i've seen in any Walking Dead show! Where do I buy my tickets?
"Swear to me, swear to me that everything you said about the fireflies is true"
"I swear"
...
"Okay"
Ahhhh
Skyler's story was great. I'd say she's a better liar than Walter, in making the lies sound extremely believable. She should have a part in what Walter's doing, a part where she'll have to talk with a lot of people and lie. Surely there's someone with a position like that in the whole chain of command.
Saul remains faithful as always. And now it's up to Jessie to save Walt. These endings always gets me hooked for the next season.
Funny how the majority of comments here are hating the episode, meanwhile I found it to be the best and most interesting since 2x09. The only two episodes I've actually enjoyed so far. Both similar in structure of just Walter and Jesse in one place conversing and reflecting. Also this is literally the first time since the start of the show that I've felt sympathy towards Walter. Him trying to pin point the moment his marriage fell apart was really sad.
Frauderick, that covert psycho, was the worst of the lot, imo. He totally got his just deserts.
Probably the best episode of the show up until this point. The scene with Gus talking to Jesse and forcing him to make peace is so intense - his calm demeanour is fantastic - and then that ending... just wow.
Was not expecting the heart noise to be the literal squelching of a dead heart.
Great choice of music for this episode - "Total eclipse of the heart" by Bonnie Tyler and "Hard on the heart" by Kingsborough.
I can't wait for the reveal of who Madeline and Roderick killed and hid in that brick wall
I have always been a fan of Carla Gugino but hands down, I think this is her best role ever.
Good season premiere. I like how Jesse is getting more seasoned. He was simply staring at Gus after he killed Victor.
this feels like it was written ten years ago when everyone was amazed you could say "fuck" on streaming
