Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the Three-eyed Raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King.
My most beloved TV show got destroyed in a matter of minutes. The previous episodes of S08 at least gave me some kind of emotion, episode 05 was a flat line. This truly is a masterpiece, a masterpiece of destruction. They've destroyed everything! The character development, the story, the plot, the meaning of GOT, the writing of G.R.R. Martin. They've destroyed all the hard work put in all of these years, they've spit on everything. I'm not going to hate the show, it gave me so much, and it will continue to be my favorite, but i'm just going to pretend this last season was never made. I'm going to imagine all the possible theories, all the story plots that could have been made, and just hope the writer finishes the series some day.
Sesion 8 the waste of our time.
It's so much fun. It knows what type of movie it is and delivers. The story kept me on my toes. The ensemble cast is terrific. Chris Evans having a blast playing an asshole, Ana de Armas is great, and Daniel Craig playing a detective with a funny accent is a treat. I want to see this again knowing the plot so I can look for all the subtle foreshadowing.
After a rewatch I am even more impressed with how good the script is and how much is set up and paid off. This one is of the better movies of the year.
This movie outsmarted me at every turn!! I loved it. So fun.
I like most space movies and this one is no different. It is shot incredible well with some fantastic shots in space. The score and sound editing were great. Brad Pitt gives a terrific quiet performance. I can see why some would think this would be slow and boring but this held my attention the whole way and I wanted more.
Fantastic movie, in all sense sof the word. A contemplative space drama about a father and son of few words, and the metaphorical and physical distance between them. Great space action and a resonant message. One of the best movies of the year in my opinion.
What an extraordinary and beautiful journey this was. Thank you, Legion.
"A mechanical, soulless dystopian theme park ride to nowhere."
Criminally underrated.
In the age of Transformers-, Pacific Rim-, Godzilla- and Marvel-movies that is churned out every other month this is a great alternative Sci-Fi film. I loved the pacing and tone, but I understand that a lot of people that are used to the same formula and action every 30 seconds - it could be viewed as boring. It isn't. Brad Pitts performance is perfect and the driving force of this space adventure.
Visually stunning and with beautiful music, this hits almost every note with perfect pitch. A must-see for Sci-Fi fans and a must-buy for me when it's time for a blu-ray release.
That was a rather anticlimactic but fitting end to a show that has done amazing work with creative storytelling andgroundbreaking visuals. It has always been a pleasure to watch even though at many times you had no idea what's going on.
Brilliant performances from both actors! It was a fantastic story as well...full of drama and character development. All I can say is bravo!
Terrible season. I don't understand why D&D made us wait 2 years for this nonsense. Rushed and disappointing.
Absolutely a beautiful show. Great characters that were well acted. Amazing visuals and soundtrack. Had to rewatch sections to better understand how everything fit together but well worth my time. Thank you.
Watch Brad Pitt for two hours while he travels through the solar system to teach us we should not work too much while Liv Tyler is alone at home in your bed.
This is a film that should work - the story itself has a horrible crime at its core that should stir some emotion in a viewer, the performances in the film are all good and there is an interesting dynamic to explore. Yet, despite these elements, there is a strong feeling of detachment to the characters that prevents one from ever really engaging with the story. It is difficult to connect with the central protagonist at all, despite a good performance from Hill, as the film offers very little insight into his character. Furthermore, even without any knowledge of the crime itself, the central mystery of whether Franco's character is guilty or not is never really in doubt to a viewer. Strangely uninvolving
A visually stylish and elegant love story set in a fantasy world. I found the fantasy parts and world building to be much more alluring that the love story parts. Tilda and Idris were both great in their roles but I was never convinced about their chemistry and found it very random what both characters went for. My favorite parts of the movie were the flashbacks but I wasn't the biggest fan of everything in the present.
George giveth, D&D taketh away.
A beautiful story, very well told, but the ending leaves me wanting. After everything in the main leadup to the crux of the movie, the ending was just underwhelming.
Nothing made sense, the characters were all boring, the dialogue sounded like it was written by an eighth grader, there's no real sense of danger or importance to any actions, the kindest way to describe the plot is that it was a poorly constructed rip-off of Star Wars: A New Hope, and there were way too many macguffins. The special effects looked neat but that doesn't make a good story. And the romance? There was more chemistry between Hester and the cyborg than her alleged love interest. Just... just awful.
This will really worth rewatching it. Every episode has a lot inside if you know how to look. Don’t listen to the ones who say the ending is not worth, a very decent and great ending it definitely has! I mean what were u expecting??? As I said before, writers are really insane and not from this world I suppose :)))
And thank you all helping me when I was human..
Legion feels like nothing else on TV right now. You might want to stop watching it between episode 2-4 but don't stop. It pays off. The show is legitimately terrifying and trippy as hell but maintains a balance between both. That Noah Hawley (Fargo TV show) is majorly involved in the making of Legion gives me hope we might have something great here. It's also a good thing the show is on FX who seem more willing to take a chance on shows regardless of low ratings (The Americans).
I thought the previews was the best parts of this movie, very disappointed, thought this was going to be better:(
Superb series.
- Original.
- Interesting story line.
- Impressive acting
- Surprising.
- An amazing look into the brain of a schizophrenic - or not?
- not a just-another-super-hero series
show is downrated..,i dont know why but i liked it and its amazing
Legion is a beautiful work of art!
one of the best TV series out there...
This movie is already hard to take serious because Jonah Hill is making a serious character but to my surprise the 1st act is quite solid. It's a shame that once you enter the 2nd act the movie just stumbles on himself and the 3rd act is completely non-sense.
I wasn't expecting at all those last things Mike said to Chris. Like... why the sudden change of character? What made him suddenly think that way? Did he think that all along? Hell, I couldn't even figure out whether he really was a piece of shit journalist or just misunderstood. More importantly, DID CHRIS FUCKING KILL THEM OR NOT?
What I saw here is Jonah really trying his best but everything and everyone around him kept failing him.
Well, I guess I expected more than a love story from a djinn movie... but it was a nicely told story.
