AppleTV is on fire this year! What a great first episode the cast is awesome and I love the concept and story. Cool intro. Last scene with the interview was so good great acting.
Very slow thriller with a great atmosphere and an amazing cast. Surprised i'd never heard of it until now. I can see people having a hard time getting through it sinse it's very slow but it has a great twist at the end that I didn't see coming and hit me right in the feels.
A great blend of horror and comedy filled with twists and turns. Laughed a lot and had a few scares!
No tension, no suspence and no thrills. Although this is filled with a great cast none of the performances stood out. The idea behind the story was a good one but it wasn't executed well and you're left thinking - is that it?
Liked the villains and the 70's vibe. Made me laugh a little but the plot is lacking. Also we get Michelle Yeoh doing Kung Fu again and those googly eyes were clearly a reference to Everything Everywhere All At Once.
That's got to be some of the worst CGI in recent memory. Boogeyman looks like Regan from The Exorcist. That laundry room scene was hilarious though.

Nothing like the first this one's a slasher. We get some great kills and gore. Final act was pretty good. A big improvement!
Not scary at all, unoriginal, meh acting and terrible CGI. What I liked about it is it feels like an episode of Supernatural especially with how the situation is resolved. Really shows it was written by Eric Kripke.
Mia Isaac (Rowan) absolutely nailed it she was the best thing in this movie! Her speeches were so moving and inspiring. Zoey and Dylan were great also. The story was good overall and I liked the conclusion. The comedy doesn't work at all though I think this would of been better off as a drama. Didn't really feel like I wanted to laugh anyway sinse this has some serious topics and the main character is unlikable.
Started out good, then it got weird, then it got boring. I struggled to appreciate any of the sci-fi elements sinse they always came out of nowhere. No explanation as to why the hell there was giant robots in one episode and then dinosaurs couple episodes later. For a time travel show they kept the time travel very basic. The whole season was about finding out what your future self is up to and what job they have. That's interesting but it gets boring after a few episodes.
Only things it has in common with Stranger Things is kids riding on bikes and the pink lighting resembles the red one in the Upside Down.
Turned into Pacific Rim for some reason. I'm not against it it looked great but it just seems like the robots came out of nowhere. It would of made sense if they landed in a timeline where robots rule the earth but they had a robot in the other timeline too. Then it got even weirder with what felt like a 15 minutes long scene talking about tampons.
Very boring! Maybe 30% survival and the other 70% of it was flashbacks of her boring life with her husband. Last episode is her sobbing and talking to people who aren't even there. Probably the lamest survival story i've seen. First 2 or 3 episodes were good though.
Victor Crowley lives! Wasn't the best in the franchise but a welcome one. Some great kills and gore yet again. Crowley really believes he can open anything with a belt sander doesn't he?

More fun, more action and much more blood and gore! A great way to finish off the trilogy. Excited to see the Victor Crowley sequel now.
Drops in quality from the first but still enjoyable. The kills were good we didn't get any gators though. Loved that it picked up immediately after the first you get the feeling like you're watching the same movie. A strong ending once again!
Very fun slasher! It has everything you want from a slasher awesome killer with a cool backstory, well done over the top gore and some dumb victims. The humor works well too and the ending was the cherry on top.
Madeleine McGraw stole the show what a great young talent! It's quite effective on the horror especially sinse kids are involved but it relies too much on jump scares. Ethan Hawke is awesome even with a mask on his face but I wanted so much more from The Grabber we know nothing about him... maybe they were afraid to expose him too much and reduce the scare or they were planning on making another movie to give him a story.
I hate that they put some teen drama stuff in here but the second half of the episode was ok for me. I doubt the teen storyline will stay in the show for too long sinse they will likely catch up to the current timeline where they're adults but we'll see. Lance Reddick better be in every episode cause he's the most interesting character and a great actor. The CGI is fine i've seen much worse. The story is intriguing enough I want to see what happened between the two timelines and who makes it. I can't say this really respects the Resident Evil franchise though it's quite different but it's only the first episode.
How to Train Your Dragon meets Pirates of the Caribbean meets Luca. Beautiful animation, good story and cool monster designs I wanted to see more of them. That purple crab thing was amazing!
Every character is turned into a comedic relief. I get that Thor's always been like that but was it necessary to have every supporting character be a humorist. The very few moments where the story is more serious and emotional I didn't feel anything because it was drowned in a million jokes. That scene where Sif is on her death bed and Thor makes a joke about it and Sif even replies with another joke pretty much sums up the movie. They even make a montage of what Thor has been through and lost all his loved ones and how he's depressed and gained weight. Two seconds later he's doing yoga and everything's better and he's back at cracking jokes. Ok why'd you bring it up in the first place if you don't elaborate on it. Also too many kids in the movie. I get that they're preparing the Marvel universe for the next gen but it just felt over saturated and exagerated.
That being said the comedy, the action and the entertainment is up to the roof. The jokes are funny. The action is great I loved the black and white scenes the most. CG looks bad in some parts but that's been the case for all Marvel movies/shows lately.
More like Sex of the Future. It's gross, perverted, disturbing and not a single likable character. Probably the weirdest movie i've watched in my life.
Great sci-fi show with great acting, story and characters. The sci-fi technology elements are good and the use of CGI at moments looks very neat. I want to learn more about the aliens and their technology I hope they announce a season 2 soon!

That fur coat scene was hilarious! He's done so much damage it's incredible.
I'd say the dog was more trouble than the bee! It does have some Mr. Bean vibes and I had a few laughs
Visually stunning and some nice disturbing imagery. You can tell a lot of love was put into creating this all the creatures and landscapes are so unique and well thought. Stop-motion really is impressive!
They completely lost me when they included non stop-motion elements like actors and they were awful! Completely took me out of it and then all I could do is try to find more stuff that wasn't stop-motion and I wasn't enjoying the movie anymore. Also I struggle to find any coherent story between the segments and it all feels so detached.
Fantastic acting from both Thompson and McCormack. The direction of the story was perfect and the conversation between the two characters were so natural and realistic. It brings a great point of view on the lives of both. It has such a great ending the final shot was so powerful!
So much chemistry between the two leads! The relationships between all characters were so well crafted and flawless. It's so much more than a simple love story it also tackles family. I especially loved the bond between the two brothers and the mother-son moments. Cooper Raiff is equally talented as both director and actor he has so much charisma. Dakota Johnson is great as always!
Beautiful animation and great story! So much attention to detail on the tech and the gadgets it really fells like sci-fi. Loved the time jumps and everything they did with that making it multi-generational made it compelling and emotional. It has some Star Wars vibes at times. SOX the cat steals the show he was so funny. I would be open to a sequel or a Woody movie.
Definitely the worst in the franchise! Was expecting something dark, scary and almost apocalyptic but instead this was a cheesy action flick. Dinosaurs are running loose everywhere and were focusing on locusts somehow. Acting was bad and cheesy it really felt like watching actors act. People were laughing quite often in the theater due to the cheesyness. Kid behing me kept asking his parents if the movie was finishing soon. Only thing worth the watch is the dinosaur effects and Jeff Goldblum's funny lines.
