While not a bad episode per se - it's just a fair episode. Mainly because most of what makes the charm of "Person of Interest" for me isn't here at all - John's in lock-up and there's almost no comic relief and the episode takes it way too serious. Plus it's a kind of Harold-only episode and while I like him very much as a character, combined with this episode's boring plot he's very underused here.
"So someone is an imposter"
Pretty messy and overly long, but the individual home lipsyncs the top 3 did were very impressive and creative - especially Gigi's. I really think Gigi should have won, but Jayda was a strong competitor throughout the show. It feels like a lackluster finale given the small scale at-home solution, but it was a fairly strong season.
Dude! That was totally House there!
-You'd do that for me?
-I'd do a lot of things to you
-For. For me
-Yeah, that too
Hahahahahaha I love these two
Just a quick one.
If there's another sequel for this movie, i'll watch it.
The judges can say whatever they want, but that acting challenge was just painful to watch.
Two solid episodes in a row, i just might be on the hook for the whole season but we’ll see. With this show, misery and confusion are always right around the corner lol.
Also liking the interns more and more! Jules and Griffith are my favorites, but the rest a pretty great too. I’d like to see some more group bonding from them on the upcoming weeks but I love on the whole, that the focus is back on the medicine and the relationship drama bas(mostly)taken a back seat.
They keep leaving so many fingerprints behind.
The movie doesn't deserve all the negative reviews it's getting. It is the most original and unique that Marvel Studios has released in recent years, with very well used characters and great relationships between them. Hopefully they continue betting on projects like this.
I like the changes in the credits!
Well, I get why they brought back Iris just to have John break up with her due to his work, but it felt like something that didn't need to be in the episode.
Loved seeing a case tied to John's past that wasn't directly connected to Samaritan, it was a nice change of pace.
And I love seeing Finch and Root working together
You appreciate the little things on a rewatch. Like Root's "Remember, one false move and you're dead... So have fun!". The absolute swing of her this episode was entertaining and painful. Esp the ending.
Also her comment that "Monsters love small towns". No doubt a callback to her own childhood experience with her friend Hannah's disappearance.
Wynonna and Nicole are always absolute GOLD when they're together. A strange opening episode but their scenes made it all worth it.
It made me happy seeing Hazel happy and free while flying the plane.
I feel like the show's dynamic and pace have improved so much, and I'm getting more of a hang to the show, the cast is so good, especially the odd father-daughter relationship between Hazel and Herb, and that moment between Diane and Hazel was cute, if only someone had done that for her!
Wait, last episode ended w Hazel dying because Byron went online too, but in this episode Hazel coming back, but we never see Byron coming off online, I don't understand when/how/why he interrupted the procedure on him? I don't understand why she didn't want the chip out? I guess like that lawyer said, it's proof of Byron's abuse, and if she gives it to Fiffany then she would lose her only proof, I guess it's because of that?
Fiffany and Judiff! those are some names! Judiff's voice was so soothing and asmr! I'm rooting for her to help Hazel, everything she said is so true, the way Byron took something precious out of Hazel and made himself omnipresent on her life, such a disgusting man.
Not sure how to rate this episode. Some good moments, but also a lot of really intense cringe.
The entire lipsync I was distracted by the song because I could tell I knew it but in a different version. Had to Google it to realize it was Gordon Lightfoot.
This episode felt so loong.. I liked it.. I HATED Jolene and what she was doing to Waverly, my heart was breaking. Yet another great episode. Keep it up <3
Also, totally called Wave's father being an angel during season 2
Almost a clone of the first one. Visual effects are more engaging with some good acting, but the same old typical Korean tropes (of everyone being connected in some way). Very obvious - so obvious you can guess it from the start of the movie. SuHong is funny and SungJu is also a good actor but DeokChoon is exceptionally annoying and overly dramatic. She's easily my least favourite character.
Worth a watch for the fun of it.
Legends of Tomorrow just used the term "Brexit" as a dark magic spell exclamation while also making a wholehearted parody of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". What did YOU do today?
Brilliant sound design, although a little unbelievable that those characters would have been so quiet all those times lol
