Pretty good start! We've mainly covered the first 3 episodes of the original show here, I'm just going in with the mindset that it's never going to be as strong as that original show and enjoy it for what it is. Casting is pretty decent, some great choreography, all the element bending is great to look at. Not the most outstanding first episode but a good start for sure!
One of the most shamelessly manipulative piece of propaganda that I've seen in a long time.
The characters are one dimensional and the villains so cartoon-y. Don King? C'mon... The accidental pedophile that was going to kill himself but saw the light after a message from god? LOL.
When the third act started, I thought it was going to turn into Rambo III. It was more like First Blood.
People are being overly emotional because of the subject matter. The movie itself is just not worth the hysteria.
The epilogue should be updated to add that Tim Ballard is a pervert
Not what I expected, yet it was terrific. Can't wait for more.
I could gush about this for a long time but I'll keep it short -- it's fantastic. This is going to be a word of mouth hit because there's no one who leaves it who won't want to get other people to see it.
The best show I have EVER seen. The wit is phenomenal. If you love this watch Firefly. You're welcome.
Talk about a night and day episode. That was legit fantastic!
Thank you, Evan Rachel Wood.
Umm how many of these ladies are fruity? I LOVE this.
Definitely wasn't expecting that ending. I did wonder why there was some weird tension in the salon earlier on but assumed it was the classy woman being perturbed by the salon bants.
Lesbians let's go!!! Watch it!!!
Finally some great :waving_white_flag::rainbow: representation!
I'm in love with this show
This movie starts off emotional and ends emotional and the ride in between is epic! Luckily I'm in the Netherlands so I could see it before and no actions here. This movie should be watched by all people no matter the color of their skin. Wakanda forever!
Binged this in a day and yes it ends with a cliffhanger.
Mostly enjoyed it. Sometimes there are pacing issues and occasionally the acting was a little bit lackluster.
People downvoting this like we know anything at all about the show.
Dont understand why rating shows/episodes before the release date is still a thing.
Each and every episode with Jodie makes me think that she has been done so dirty with the writing. It hurts how good she could've been written.
I really like Jodie Whittaker as the new Doctor. I adore her energy and her eccentricity and her spunk and her randomness. I can't wait to see more of her!
This show is melodrama through and through, so I can understand why some people can't get into it, but hot damn I love a well cooked melodrama. This is my jam.
As a LOTR fan for the past 20 or so years, this show definitely satisfies my cravings for more Middle Earth. Seeing Khazad-dûm in all its glory was fantastic. The orc fight was terrifying (albeit predictable), and the orc itself looked as menacing as ever (which makes me anticipate any big fight scenes coming and all the horror we'll get to see). The show gives nods to the Peter Jackson movies without overdoing it, through similarity in characters and world building, which I enjoy. It's definitely its own show but it respects its predecessor. Is the show perfect? Definitely not. But I'm certainly enjoying it so far, even with the imperfections.
It is true that the pacing of the episode could have been better, but the magnificent scenery, the grand scale, the indistinguishable line between film and TV, besides the great music are the things that sell the show for me. I am so looking forward to continuing watching it!
I'm not seeing what everyone's complaining about. So far it's exactly what I would expect a LOTR prequel series to be.
The first two episodes were fantastic. It's silly to compare this to game of thrones or hotd considering how antithetical the source materials are to one another. The trailers and character posters looked like they had some spotty cgi and tacky costumes but it all looks stunning in this nearly billion dollar first season. It's already better than any of the hobbit movies and im wildly excited for whats to come after tempered expectations before watching.
Nothing earth-shattering but still a solid setup and the CGI is top notch! Daemon shines every time he’s on screen. 8/10
Best episode so far had so many feels
This was my most anticipated episode of the season and it didn't disappoint. It's as fucked up as the original comic issue!
people are hating it cause it's TOO GAY... I guess I'll watch it twice.
jinkx monsoon you will always be famous
Trinity was never my favorite BUT she is growing on me this season. I am OBSESSED with every single one of these queens so far!!!
At this point Trinity can go to Project Runway and ate the competition
Is this show supposed to be so... cartoon-y ? It's just so over the top ridiculous, in the acting and character interactions.
I thought it would be darker and grittier, but it's giving off a teen-show vibe. That damn stereotypical accent definitely does not help this not seem comedic.
Absolutely loving this. Oscar Issac is giving one hell of a performance as Steven/Mark and seeing both the Moon Knight suits was so Awesome!! Ethan Hawke is also definitely giving such creepy vibes. Khonshu is just Perfect too!! The invisible fight scene its so well done.
