Just 25 minutes in and I think Westworld could be the next Battlestar Galactica. It's more dark than the movie from the 70's. Just not sure why the engineers don't see all the crazy shit Ed Harris has been up to though. If they are always watching the robots.
Still, as a fan of the original movie, this show is pretty kick ass and I can't wait for more. The movie is pretty outdated and this show makes a great insanely awesome update. Even if all of it doesn't make complete sense so far.
This was disgusting. R*pe is not a plot device. It's disgusting and lazy writing.
Drama? No way! This show is sooooo funny! =)
And the cover should be like this! http://www.serienjunkies.de/news/big/o/orange-the-new-black-43346_big.jpg
In this episode we get to see Frya (Riley Voelkel) from the Originals and now Roswell, be a stripper.
A great way to end that season ! Deanerys is for me the best queen
please reboot this show....it was a great concept
the show is waay better without jessie in it.. sadly but true
Can someone explain to me, why would lexa let die 250 of her soldiers in the bombing, and then break a deal with clarke and make another deal with the montain, just to save 10. It makes no sense to do so many sacrifices to get to the montain suposedly for revenge and rescue, then walk away almost empty handed, betraying a friend, all of that when victory was at hand. what the hell were the producers thinking? This episode sucks
Have you accepted Matt Bomer as your lord and savior
Just like most people, I'd say this is not the best superhero movie. But it's also not the worst, it's just mediocre.
Perhaps this is partly because I don't particularly like the superhero in question; he could have been called Superman in space with friends. But that's personal preference.
My critique; the love interest was not convincing at all, the final battle was rushed and the special effects were sometimes distracting. I did like Ryan Reynolds' character changing, the ancient immortals storyline and the evil nerd.
An average movie that was good for a somewhat entertaining evening, but I won't be watching it again, especially with all the other great superhero movie adaptations these days.
If you're looking for an action and "turn brain off now" film, just don't watch it and spare us the 6-7 hearts review.
I for one, am very tired from 500$m crap like Indi Day and Marvel's poop. So I was very excited to watch this one.
This one is more like Spielberg's Encounters from the Third Kind. It's more about the characters in the film and the amazing journey they go through. It's mostly about the human behavior that will make you think.
While it's not an End of the World aliens movie like Battle: Los Angeles, it still offers great amount of military presence and plenty of stuff that's going on.
So if you actually want to care about an intelligent movie and use your head - go. Otherwise, go watch an X men.
Highly recommended for some audience 10/10.
2-feb-2017 edit: Just came out on Bluray and I saw it again. Definitely keeping my rating.
Watching again at July-2023, excited towards Dune II : Excellent. Excellent film. So called plot-holes listed here are negligible when the overall product is really thoughtful and masterfully crafted.
If Stephen King and Steven Spielberg had a baby, this is EXACTLY what it would look it.
Please don't suck, please don't suck, please don't suck...
Starts off pretty bad then all of a sudden you've been awake for 20 hours and binge watched the entire thing.
Persevere through those initial few bad episodes and you're in for a right treat.
Bran: I can never be Lord of Winterfell, I can never be Lord of anything, I'm the Three-eyed Raven.
Also Bran: I'm the King.
The day that Ben Affleck stops being Batman is the day that Batman comes back to become the best superhero films of all. This guy with 0 acting skills is destroying it. Too many awesome films before him to let it pass.
SO SO GOOD! It was funny, scary and amazing! Who can hate on this film, it's much better then everyone thought it would be, maybe better than the originals! Not a perfect movie but it is a really strong 9.
The funny thing is that after the episode ended, I came here to give it some stars.
Wow. That is a great episode. Zoom is visibly scary. He is a speed demon, he is more like a monster. He is absolitely terrifying, as when he caught the Bolt of lightning.
I'm digging now on the possibility that Zoom is either Henry Allen or Joe, one of Barry's father. In Earth-2 Robert Queen took the role of Arrow, so why does not Hebry or Joe take Barry's role?
I think this could be real and it would be absolitely amazing, even though a bit far-fetched.
The movie is way too unrealistic. No one plugs in a USB cable on the first try.
People downvoting this like we know anything at all about the show.
Dont understand why rating shows/episodes before the release date is still a thing.
I'm so in love with this series! I love viking history and mythology and this show was great in represent all this.
I really hope that gets more seasons!
Is this show supposed to be so... cartoon-y ? It's just so over the top ridiculous, in the acting and character interactions.
I thought it would be darker and grittier, but it's giving off a teen-show vibe. That damn stereotypical accent definitely does not help this not seem comedic.
I f*king cried, Luke at the end & R2 ?! best episode ever. This even tops the sequel triolgy for me. You know, this even makes 2020 a good year. 10/10
Meanwhile the journey of Aang is about a human being turning into an Avatar,
Korra's journey is about an Avatar turning into a human being. Just as brilliant and as incredible as The Last Airbender. Unfortunelly, some peopole does not sees it that way.
