The quietest episode of the season is the loudest. Truly great.
no, i don’t carry my vagina with me all the time. that would be too inappropriate. :drum:
I love the acting on this show. Sometimes I feel like Robert isn’t all that bad and then I feel the exact opposite. The actor pulls it off marvellously.
That fan girl drugging Willow was too much. She’s so annoying and hope we’ve seen the last of her.
While I’m glad there’s a plan forming I’m annoyed that it involves Katherine. Am I the only one who finds Liam’s love interests to be unappealing? They’re pretty but that’s about it. That’s probably why I’m rooting for Greta to come back - after going after her dreams and getting some self esteem. She was pretty just more plain due to the clothes she wore and her insecurities. I’d love to see her dolled up and doing something like having a gallery showing or something. But I’m a sucker for the underdog.
Jasper and Eleanor are so darn cute together! I just can't.
Oh, damn, Cyrus coming onto Jasper was so hilarious!!
I knew Liam was plotting something! YES! Bring your arrogant, psychotic, asshole of a brother down hard, Liam! I'm even willing to put up with Kathryn if it means Robbie will get what's coming to him.
And it's nice to see that even though Willow is a little too naive sometimes, she's no idiot. Follow your gut and don't believe a thing Robert tells you, girl. He held his hands out for her to take them and she walked out on him like a boss. I was so proud of her in that moment.
I'll be honest, if season 2 is all about the male camp I really won't be able to bring myself to care.
A very disappointing ending, I must say. The fact that they killed Michelle just so Clive would get his perfect nuclear family is utterly disgusting. They could have written anyone else dying instead, any other officer, but of course they chose her. Gross.
The rest is just... a bit weird, a bit bland, a bit confusing. I don't understand how they keep pushing that narrative that a cure would solve everything since obviously, ton of zombies must still be trying to get revenge/tons of humans must still have anti-zombies feelings.
( Also I keep being put off by this thing of turning people into zombies because they're sick. Like, the children will never grow up? You get stuck living immortal lives? It doesn't sound appealing at all.)
Liv and Lilywhite ending up together is also disappointing. It felt rushed and too easy.
That was a pretty funny episode. With many deathflags here and there and a serious end.
But that CGI fire was terrible. Maybe they saved up money for the finale.
Hopefully Blaine and that French guy are getting killed off in the last episode.
As well as Major. He didn't redeem himself. Even if he would kill the French guy in a final stand off.
He tried is best, yadda, yadda. Not enough in my book.
Extremely boring episode that seemed to last 2 hours. The noir schtick wasn't done very well and was almost completely gone halfway the episode.
Give me a break! So... 6 episodes left to wrap up the series for good, and now they decide to introduce a new character? Which happens to be...:
Yup... you guessed right, it's option #5
The Ravi part was fun. The Clive being awkward part was hella fun. The "We weren't trying to put this on you. We were looking for advice [by bringing the kids with us and basically giving you no chance of turning them away]" part was dumb.
The whole season seems to be about this Seattle situation heating up. So far, I don't particularly care about that. While Major keeps up his Führer charme. I hope he gets killed off in this last season of iZombie.
Odds are against him anyways since (ex-)boyfriends of Liv tend to die (usually) early.
That dance montage... So good!
Also, "He was a marshmallow" at Baron's funeral (played by Francis Capra, who was also in Rob Thomas's Veronica Mars) . I see what you did there.
It's a sad day when jokes about "racially appropriating zombie culture", "whiteface" and "white lives matter" spoken by a black zombie fall flat. Or maybe it isn't... I'm quite frankly not sure anymore.
Ravi should have been a Z before this, it would have been tons of fun.
I was gonna say something about what fun brains we had in this episode (Ravi, OMG!), but instead I'll just express my happiness for Clive!
"What happens in the Misty Dunes stays in the Misty Dunes."
The murder of the week has never been a less significant part of an episode than it was tonight. In more interesting news, Clive is still D&D'ing!!! That is so freaking awesome. And Ravi is in the game, too, but that's not surprising. And the cute new cop joins in! Workplace lockdowns just bring people together, I guess.
All in all, a consistent hour from start to finish. And I'm really rooting for Clive to finally find a little ol' ray of sunshine in the romance department. On the character front, Isobel is an appealing new addition and the casting is good there. And finally, the absence of anything from the Robert Knepper story line is a big plus since it's been nothing but a distraction that hasn't been going anywhere.
Liv and Clive have some terrific moments yet again in this one. And while I enjoy the Team Blaine stuff, that just isn't carrying over to his dad and his followers at all. Not in the least. Nothing against Robert Knepper, but I'd be more than okay with seeing that arc go away entirely so that the time could be spent on pretty much any other story line that's going on at the moment.
A solid outing until that insanely stupid final twist. I imagine that Liv's thought process went something like this: "While I'm breaking all sorts of laws, I should probably sit here wearing headphones and listening to music so that I can't hear my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, when she comes home. And I should make sure that my laptop screen is facing the door to my room in order to make it as easy as possible for my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, to immediately see that I'm breaking all sorts of laws when she walks into my room and surprises me. Because being surprised by my roommate, who is a lawyer for the city, is something that will work out well for me when I'm breaking all sorts of laws."
Clive continues to be awesome. This time, in particular, the scene where he takes away Liv's tin of chocolate brain hearts without skipping a beat on the interrogation was a great moment. His reaction to her, his facial expression, the whole bit. And her reaction to his reaction was great, too. Meanwhile, Ravi is the life of the party and we have a serial killer on the loose.
Does anyone else think it is weird Ravi was so interested in the visions Liv saw of him?
The D&D part of this episode is so hilarious. I've rewatched this episode because of it. They would have such a good group too.
My one concern with bringing Clive into the zombie fold was that we'd stop getting the classic reaction faces from the guy when it comes to various things going on around him. I'm happy to say, once again, that my worries were unfounded. Case in point: his look when Ravi asked, "Do I look like a nerd?" Seeing him get hooked on D&D was great, too. Clive for mayor!!!
It was ok. After the terrible endings to both TVD and The Originals, I was not sure I'd watch this. I could waste years watching this show only to have Julie Plec ruin it with another one of her endings.
RIP Josh.
The end is near so of course Julie Plec must again kill as many fan favorites as she can.
She's so edgy sometimes I'm worried she could cut herself. [mic drop]
At this point, I'm beginning to wonder whether they write new plot lines based on the different kinds of colored contact lenses they can buy for the cast...
Damn, this was a badass episode. I don't care what the haters say, Cami is an excellent character. On a side note, everyone looked amazingly gorgeous in this episode, like more than usual. And that last scene, oh my heart!
I'm happy for Sterling, but everything about that girl screamed to me that she was going to turn her down, and that she was straight.
Woahhh get it girl! I can't believe she went for it and that April felt the same!
Also side note that teacher reminds me so much of Caitlin Reilly. Makes me laugh every time
Well that was unexpected! Sterling really is on a journey of discovery
Great season finale.
“You can put me down now”... awww. I loved that.
But uuugggghhh why do people have to be such immature, manipulative assholes. Goes right along with the “once an asshole, always an asshole”. That disabled kid has got problems. In the mind.
So many new story lines developing. I love Jean’s. And that short conversation between Jakob and Otis. Jakob could be the father figure Otis never had. He’s super annoying but also so very caring.
Feeling really sad about the “losers” of this season though. Shitty things happening to the best people.
