I would say that this is a good movie but not great. I love these kinds of movies. I loved Contact (Robert Zemeckis), felt transported. Again felt transported by Sunshine (Danny Boyle), but did not feel transported by this movie. I was aware at all time I’m watching a movie. I’m not sure exactly why but probably part to some bad acting, bad storytelling and some very bad choices.

Casting Matt Damon was probably too much. I also didn’t like the robot. It didn’t feel realistic at all. Nolan trying to have something different went too far. No way I can accept that a big ridiculous wall is a reasonable shape for an intelligent walking robot. It screams look how clever we are.
Also it was a bad idea to cast Ellen Burstyn as old Murph. That’s the most important emotional moment of the movie and immediately you feel it’s someone else, it’s not Murph. I think even if they had used Jessica Chastain in a bad old makeup, it would have been better.This movie is good but it is not great.
I like this show and learned they canceled it. It's very unfortunate. There will be 13 episodes and they have filmed 11. I don't know how they are going to wrap it up in 2 episodes.
I love this movie. Had a great impact on me when I was young. I was worried seeing it again after 15-20 years, it wouldn't be the same. We all change and things don't look the same when you are older. I was surprised that this film had not aged that much and still had a great impact. A.K.A crying!!!!!

I was surprised I enjoyed this a lot. This is not a very good movie and the actors are ugly and look unsympathetic but somehow I (or the movie) surpassed all of it! I cared about every single character and the movie connected with me on some level.
I would have given this 9 if they had not chickened out at the very end.
I was hesitant to watch this movie and not in the mood to watch a heavy drama. To my surprise it was amazing. No forced drama and it was actually to my great surprise a lot of fun to watch. This movie was faster and more fun and more thrilling that Amazing Spider-Man 2!

This movie is amazing. While Spielberg's Hook to my surprise was a straight Drama with no magic, no imagination and no fantasy, this movie is full of magic and imagination.
The last jump scare was bad and out of place. The kind of things you expect from a parody.

This movie was not good. It was not good at all and I am used to these kind of movies. Watch 'Adult World' and 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' instead.

I loved the part where Emma Roberts gets excited hearing one of her poems is getting published in a book and goes crazy turning on and off the light switch!
I easily get scared and The Conjuring, Insidious both chapters and many other good scary movies, scare the bejesus out of me. Oculus did not scare me for one second. This movie was bad and very poorly made. Somehow they did all wrong and nothing felt scary or atmospheric to me. Yes Katee Sackhoff scared me a little but she already scared me in Battlestar Galactica!
I enjoyed this more than fast and furious. This felt like a real racing movie.
This is made for people who have seen the series. I have not seen the series and I could imagine I would have enjoyed this more if I had seen it. Nevertheless I did enjoy it on some level.
