What an season finale. It will be an excruciatingly long wait for season two. :astonished:
I love it when a show leaves you hanging and curious....way more curious than you thought you are. 2024 seems very distant now.
Oh daaamn, double twist. Nice one.
The penultimate episode ties together the threads sewn throughout season one setting up a tense platform for the finale.
Glad to see season 2 has been green lit already. I’m ready to rank this season now. I think it’s the best tv series of 2023 so far.
Today I'm self-medicating with evocative emotional responses. Today, I don't interpret this as convenient. Today I'm reminded of Jorj McKie's court tactic to force opposing Gowachin cousel to change *stance in, "The Dosadi Experiment," by Frank Herbert -- just because it felt as satisfying. Again, not weighing in on how realistic it was -- just how I got to soar.
SPOILER: And, anyone who missed Una & Spock's Gilbert & Sullivan duet while stuck in a turbo-lift can watch the, "Star Trek: Short Treks," S02E01, "Q&A," here: https://fmovies.to/tv/star-trek-short-treks-vq7o6/2-1

*this is an over-simplification
An amazing episode.
My favourite mix - Star Trek and court drama!
This episode just shows that you don't need action, just well performed dialog. I had a few moments that just had me on the brink of tears, but the "feels" were real. I love this series.
It’s been a long time since a show got me hooked in front of the TV. Super excited for the next episodes.
Great episode!
This is a slow burn show, as we know, so given that, this episode was a roller coaster of information and probably the pivotal point of this season.
It's one of the better shows at the moment and one of the few that I'm interested in. At least this has some quality to it.
For years I had wished this show would have gone 3-5 seasons. But now, I'm glad it ended here. I just realized they were hinting at a romance between Harry and Connie in the final scene... And that always leads to the death of a non-romance series. So I'm glad now that it ended on its feet with dignity.
Good episode in general, but how did the animal army get caught in surprise so easily?
Did everyone forget about Bobby?
Wrong again, I guess. It's Sims who is in charge of surveillance. But not for Judicial I think. He talked about the Janitor's once - those must be "They".
Holston knew about the cameras and now it's obvious there was a lot we didn't see. I don't think They knew that he knew. But why go out to clean instead of trying to oncover the lies ? Now Nichols knows about the cams, too. And They know she does. The bullseye on her back got considerably larger.
Can't wait too see how this plays out.
I was on the edge of my seat for the whole episde :O
This was some Fucked Up Shit.
Very Sad the differences if your Rich or Poor.
Wow, just keeps getting better and better. Amazing TV!
One thing I am finding hard to understand at the moment with CW, is how can we start enjoying a good quality show like this & then you hear that it may be on the chopping block to be axed? can anyone tell me the logic of CW at the moment?
The final couple minutes were pure fire. I have little sympathy for those people. Like the lawyer said, there aren't guilty of the crime they are charged with but they aren't innocent either. You had the chance to walk away but you choose not to. You believe the crap Goresh was selling so you made your own bed and slept in it. Like his mother did just because she was afraid she wouldn't see her grandchildren. I will never understand what goes on in those peoples heads.
Proper gritty and well acted.
Even though we know what happens in Oklahoma City, still makes it compelling and very sad.
Well, is it over now? I don't think so! Is Crowley really dead? A good final episode, with some great twists. :thumbsup_tone1:
I don't know you, but the part where the ex-wife was not actually the ex-wife but a hired pro on a long con was so very satisfying
It's not often nowadays I'm really pulled into any new show coming up. This I like very much, very intrigued.
The conversation between Allison and Holston gave me shivers. Where she told him that everything they see is a lie, that it's manipulated, you only see what "They" want you to see. Not so far fetched isn't it ?
I'm always afraid to get my hopes up for new shows because more often then not they fail to deliver on the long run. I hope this is an exception.
A very good first episode imo, I'm actually excited for episode 2! Great pacing so far and great acting, enjoying the story so far!
"I knew it!"
"I knew that too. I knew that the priest was lying."
:joy:
The plot was resolved well enough, and we got a very relaxing and satisfying epilogue. What else could you want?
We got old star trek back this season. Some of it's spirit, anyway. We got a good plot. We got legacy characters back and they actually feel true to themselves and are respected. We got new likeable characters, and they made previous Picard season characters more likeable. What else could you want?
I'm not completely satisfied overall in regards to what's happened this season, and i've aired some of my issues in previous comments. But god damn am i completely satisfied right now, because we finally got some of old star trek back. We finally got respect and likeable characters and a good story, with an amazing send off for the old crew, and a good setup for the new crew.
I am so completely relaxed and satisfied. We finally got good and true star trek. I'm satisfied for years now.
Star Trek:Legacy with seven of nine as the captain of enterprise?
YES PLEASE!
this is getting better and better after each episode, i am starting to like it
