Am I drunk or something? First episode is god awful. Like whole episode looks like something from random fan-fiction made into YT series. Awful green screen, thrash-tier acting (especially from third-sister, jeez), boring story. I feel like i am watching some parody of what Kenobi supposed to be. I really liked Mandalorian, i was disappointed with Book of Boba and this is... really something i guess...
"You move like a pregnant yak. Sit."
Total nonsense, but for silly one liners, action adventure with Fred Ward, and a trip back in time to 80s NY, its pretty damn entertaining. Why they decided to make a sequel is beyond me
Watching this movie feels like watching an episode in the middle of a TV series I've never watched before. What was even the point of this movie? What story was it trying to tell? Also, that green screen is offensive to my eyeballs.
This film got a lot of hate and I'm not sure why. Maybe because it has the same formula as Top Gun, but both were done so well. Does that make Days Of Thunder bad? NO. Hell, all the Star Wars movies used the same formula!
Days Of Thunder didn't try to pretend. The action was on the race track and the story progressed with a good tempo from beginning to end. I won't go into the details as this film should be seen like any other movie... without knowing what you're getting into. Sit back and enjoy every non-CGI moment and and entertaining characters, I'm sure some won't be disappointed.
if you NASCAR fan you need to watch this
this is must watch
Weird how in 1995 the filmmakers accurately predicted the world-wide plague of 2021, but couldn't figure out that January 17 would be a Sunday.
It's like a very bad Halo fan-fiction. The first 16 minutes had potential, but that was lost by the episode's end.
I love sci-fi and came in with no expectations. I never played the games and only know the franchise by name, so I can’t go on about faithfulness. But on a pure TV show viewpoint: it’s terrible. It feels like things happen because the story needs it to happen, instead of the story just happening on itself. Character X is in trouble? Here is this thing that magically solves the problem for him. Anything else feels like a filler. The acting is average, the characters feel one-dimensional and lacking in interest. Nothing stood out from this pilot. I will not be watching ep2, hard pass.
This is more "Hell no" than "Halo."
The only way it’s good is if you consider it Halo fan fiction. I don’t get everyone’s obsession with ignoring set lore and making a different timeline. Basing it on the Halo lore, this show is utter crap. So many things went wrong that just directly go against what things stand for from the games. Basing it as a “creative” adaptation of Halo. It’s fine so far, I’m interested to see where it will go. I am simply disappointed that it’s an adaptation rather than showing existing lore as live action. Also I don’t know what everyone is talking about but I find the CGI at the beginning utter crap. In 2022 I should not be able to distinguish between CGI and real.
This is like the 100th time I'm watching The Terminator. I just noticed this for the first time: Sarah hides in a club called Tech Noir so she can use the telephone. The phone is literally ON THE DANCE FLOOR! Hahahahaha. Gotta love the 80s.
Try watching the beginning of this movie and un-know what you know about the franchise. Who are these two guys? Where did they come from? Why are they after Sarah Connor. It is a great example of suspense-building storytelling.
Wasn't ready for the back-to-back jump scares :sob::sob:
Seems nobody recalls https://trakt.tv/shows/the-equalizer
All talking just about the Denzel movies.
But it's true, Queen Latifah, as much as I like her, doesn't fit.
This is what I call "to boldly go...". A wonderful episode that respects the legends, and builds up upon them to reach for the stars.
This is what I call the Sergio Leone approach to Star Wars. Taking its time to flesh out the character, and giving us the answer to many questions we never knew we had. Excellent episode.
Everything I wanted it to be and more. Perfectly cast and excellent soundtrack by Hans Zimmer. Epic Sci-Fi at its best.
"Do you believe there is a part of yourself, deep inside in your mind, with things you don't want other people to see? During a session when I'm inside, I get to see those things."
Another movie I have heard a lot about, and right after the end I looked at my fiancé and said "What did I just watch?" Visuals are pretty insane for 2000, just curious how this movie came to be in general. Tarsem Singh has some really good ideas, and I wish he got more chances because I really enjoyed The Fall and Immortals, but this movie will haunt my dreams from time to time, I can tell.
An emotional roller coaster, even though Satoshi Kon doesn't use the big guns for this show (usually that means pointing out the most disturbing aspects of the human psyche and nature) it still manages to create a memorable movie, a trip in Japan's pre and post World War 2, and history of cinema.
Man that waitress deserved it
shame this didn't last any longer i loved it! bought the bluray a while back too
Amazon without a doubt is the best, movie :movie_camera: for no one to put faults. I was longing for science fiction of that level.
Fair show, but they didn't need to crap all over Gene Roddenberry's legacy and original concept like this.
Not a good movie, by far. Very predictable as the plot really is quite simple and many times makes no sense at all. Very cheesy and the ending is really a downer, quite depressive indeed. However, it has excellent shoot-them-up action sequences and it looks amazing on the screen. Really nice photography, make up and VFX. The moral of the story is - at least for me-, don't you dare to care for any of the characters. None of them. The documentary of the movie is way better than the movie itself.
Snyder should have stayed within the dawn of the dead (2004) universe. This movie is a step back in quality and originality.
there is always that guy that suddenly notices that he was bitten...really???
DC has finally did it! Not only is Aquaman much better than any of the Marvel movies, it's an awesome movie on its own. The pace is good, music is good, humor is good, and visual is awesome! Wan did a great job displaying the beauty of the deep ocean.
This is how DC's Movies should have been made. It's action sequences are insanely awesome. Amber Heard is drop dead gorgeous like a goddess in this movie. Jason Momoa is born to play Aquaman. Perfect castings. Don't miss this amazing movie guys.
Inception can suck it
