As a Turkish person, I can verify that most of the Turkish stuff in this show is accurate. They used Turkish actors and proper Turkish dialogue which isn't something you see on every show. Even the Turkish songs are VERY well-placed.
So fucking painful to watch.
Almost done with it as I'm writing this, and I want to finish it, but shit, it's really hard.
And good. Very good.
I don’t get the negativity. Honestly you people are so entitled. The lack of context is intentional and there are several clues as to why it’s that way. It’s not a 50s to show (we haven’t seen them imitate a 60s tv show yet, that’s next week). It’s going to change probably every week, even up to the point of imitating modern tv shows like the office from what they’ve said. And the context is clear enough by the end of the second episode. Even without reading additional articles to explain the more subtle hints, you can tell what’s going on at least loosely. Plus it does a great job lampooning the absurdity of 50s tv and ideals about homemaking and marriage. To hilarious effect
I honestly didn't think this show was going to be any good....but damn was I proven wrong. Absolutely love the storyline, characters, and dynamics of the show. Seriously folks, do not pass this one up. Super entertaining and funny with plenty of action!
It's a bit creepy that Violet looks so similat to Emily Browning from the movie with Jim Carrey.
Quite possibly one of the most important sci fi sitcoms to date. Really paved the way for stuff like Rick and Morty.
messy, predictable, boring, political agenda, cliche fest. was good to see Kiefer again though. for 2 episodes.
A Cop Drama With Nathan Fillion, I started it watching it because of him and honestly its a pretty enjoyable show with an array of characters. Not your usual cop drama, there is the right amount of humor and I'm liking it and I want to see where this goes. Lethal Weapon is based on the comedy and has some dramatic elements. Chicago P.D. is a serious drama and you get invested in every moment, this one comes right inbetween.
I just love how Nathan Fillion plays his character, just brings me back to the Firefly days.
The first two seasons are awesome, the third not bad but the last 2 are ugly
If you take the most obnoxious, self involved, dumb party girl and put her in a TV show, you'd have this. It's just one long story of her whining and doing the absolute dumbest things humanly possible. The ongoing and pointless dialog with an imaginary dead man feels like a filler and doesn't add anything to the story whatsoever.
2 episodes in and I'm ditching this
i think it was 5 years ago when i finished reading this series. i was 12 and i think i was reading the books for quite a while and honestly, after all these years, i cant possibly be any happier with the outcome. this show has done the books justice so far. its like im reliving my childhood.
its funny, complicated, exciting and one of the best mysteries out there. if you havent read the books, i really suggest them. ive read a lot of famous mystery novels and nothing beats how connected and well built this series is.
the acting was amazing, the few musics of the show were great, there are some real stars here like neil patrick harris who forever owns my heart, and the mystery of lemony snicket and beatrice feels exactly as perfect as it felt in the books. what a solid show 10/10
Travelers" starts out avoiding the normal time-travel series plot holes by not showing the future world being manipulated -- skipping the usual dual-timeline clichés. While the future is referenced, and communicated with, it remains unseen and lets the viewer concentrate on the present, until the last couple episodes when things go a little haywire and “Travelers” becomes an example of why it's difficult to prolong a series about time travel.
Season 1 doesn't have any sort of resolution, ending with a cliffhanger to setup a never ending story. The method of time travel isn't the best, lends itself to plot holes. The season finale seems like one ginormous plot hole. Some episodes are better than others, the acting is OK for a story going nowhere... Seems very much like a SyFy Network type series.
Will take me a long, long time to catch up. I've enjoyed the first 13 episodes. It's fun and Pirates are always awesome.
I'm sorry but this show is much better than rest of DC's 13-years-old-drama super hero shows on cw.
i'll always be fond of this show even if it wasn't 100% perfect it has a special place in my heart
I seriously question the rationale behind the ability to be able to vote on an not yet aired shows. Where do people up-voting or down-voting these shows get their decisions from? It's flawed!!
Beware! Dangerously comfy anime, you might never want to leave your blanket behind!
I have been a longtime fan of Grey's Anatomy, that being said over the years with all of the actors leaving the show it has really changed the dynamic of the show in my opinion and that has caused me to not want to keep up with the show as much. I am a person who can't leave a show, movie, or book unfinished because it irritates me. So during this season (12) after the doctor that told Meredith that Derek was brain dead showed up at Meredith's house for dinner I just couldn't continue watching the show, so I took a break in order to allow the overload of emotions that episode gave me to calm down. I have just now returned to start watching it again now that I am 8 episodes behind. So far i'm surprised Meredith is even willing to work with her I know that as adults people are supposed to be able to handle it but that has to be super hard.
Maybe it's time to leave gracefully, this has gone on too long, out of ideas.
This is great quality drama, as you'd expect from the BBC, just sad they had to go with the tired old trope of male bodyguard sleeping with his subject, but I suspected it was coming when the titles highlighted the word 'body'
This is a really well-done show. I am not a big fan of German cinema, but this is a great entry! Despite not being rich in action each episode is interesting and keeps me watching.
Einfach Super!
This show is very '90s Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Ash vs Evil Dead with a touch of Todd vs the book of evil
I've heard some called the 1st episode "slow".
Well, maybe - I found it delightfully entertaining and in the tradition of good espionage series, found it more cerebral than most American espionage shite on TV in recent memory. I'm thinking of you "24". I find myself eagerly anticipating each episode.
Take what you will from this review, but I'm given the series a "9"!
I just didn't expect the spanish inquisition.
Abso-freakin-lutly LOVE this show! One of my FAVORITE medical Dramas yet! Even better than some of the other great Medical Dramas of the past, such as shows like House, or ER, even better than Grey's Anatomy! ABSOLUTE MUST SEE SHOW! (think CSI of Medical Dramas, so intense u feel like ur actually there learning how to treat patients)
Terrible, just... terrible. Who on Earth thought this was a good idea?!
a diverse and hilarious show that deserved more than being cancelled after 5 seasons. i hope another network or service will pick it up! over the last 5 years it's been a show that i've always looked forward to watching and i'm really going to miss its lovable, funny characters
update: SEASON 6 WILL BE ON NBC!! even if it's just for one final season i'm glad b99 is being given the second chance it deserves!!
Only one word could possibly describe this show:
"AMAZING"
Greatest anime of all-time. ALL-TIME.
Started watching initially because of Britt Robertson and stayed because of Susannah Flood (Kate Littlejohn)
