Even in the Star Trek universe a plant can cause you loads of trouble! Personally, I'm never really a fan of episodes with rehashed footage
Touching. A friend is saved. I find it hard to believe they had to have the whole courtroom scenario anyway. Data is a bridge officer, a Commander with medals. He's passed Star Fleets entrance exam. Surely they value him above a 'thing' or an 'it'.
Disease is a terrible thing. The possibility of a plague is something very real; all the more scary.
Births, deaths, fireworks, guns and a bazooka. In what other show might you find these things together?... I think Wolfgang stole the show.
OMG what a terrific ending. There was a time when I watched this show and almost stopped. Now, I am continually blown away by the tech used and the powerful storylines. I would absolutely say this is some of their best work yet!
Blanche Devereaux: But, honey, she's just a child. You cant expect a child to give back a toy. You do understand, don't you?
Rose Nylund: Just cut the crap and get the damn teddy bear!
I'm not sure there was anything here maybe that hasn't been covered before. I often think that news people in modern times are ruthless beyond belief but actually when you watch historical footage like this you realise they have always been just as despicable.
Even if there wasn't much (if any) fresh discussion here it's still a wonderful celebration of a person battling the odds to become one of the most successful and well loved people in my lifetime.
Believe it Tina, you are The Best!
Rose: Oh, Blanche, how do you feel about performing in front of a video camera?
Blanche: I think it's okay as long as you've already had at least three dates.
Blanche: I am abhorred!
Sophia: We know what you are, Blanche, I'm glad to hear you finally admitting it.
Blanche: Sophia, I said abhorred.
Sophia: A whore, a slut, a tramp - they're all the same.
Sophia: Jean is a nice person. She happens to like girls instead of guys. Some people like cats instead of dogs. Frankly, I'd rather live with a Lesbian than a cat. Unless a Lesbian sheds - that I don't know.
Blanche: Girls. Do you see that man over there staring at me? He's undressing me with his eyes.
Rose: Do you want to move to another table?
Blanche: Not yet. He's only half done.
Lucy: Dorothy, Rose, I hope I wasn't too much trouble.
Rose: Oh, don't be silly.
Dorothy: Oh, we enjoyed having you.
Sophia: So did half of Miami.
We live in a fragile world; a show like this explains just how fragile and how close we all, perhaps, come to destruction at the hands of idiots every day
Chloe; she means business! You keep on firing girl!!
President Logan needs a crash course in decision making; I suspect he needs help putting the right shoes on in the morning
An enjoyable movie with an insight into the latter years of this legendry duo's life together. Accurate, I don't know. Whatever the case they are presented a friends, which I am sure they must have been working so closely for the years they were together.
Ultimately, every success has it's day and the 50's wasn't their decade
Rewatching 24 continues with Season 2
One episode complete and Jacks already killed one person, Kim’s in trouble again with a wife beater...
If I were Kim I’d have to wonder why bad things keep happening to me
OK; so, Jack was dead/dying right from the first scene and all that happened beyond that, in probably a very short time, is his conciousness searching for validation, acceptance and an understanding to move on.
If this is the kind of thing you go through when life ends for you, it's not appealing!
Great end to the show, I don't think it could have been any better, and, it still makes little sense in some areas; thats artistic licence I guess
Jacob is back, well, kinda. This time he has only the life of the flame, then, he's gone forever.
Jack was the obvious and only choice here but that doesn't make him the right one - or - does it?
So; I was previously wrong, it's not the 80's, it's the 70's, wow, what a trip for them!
Sawyer has done a good job really, crafting a life. They know that Ben kills all, so they just have to plan for that for the future.
Sun has become a real rattlesnake hasn't she; obliging to your face, then, boom she smashes you with a boats oar from behind! Some of these guys have had multiple hits to the skull which surely doesn't bode well for their health. That is aside from smoke, wild animals, guns etc
You can't take your eye, your ear or your brain off this show for a moment, you will miss something!
So, we know Jack, Hurley, Kate, Sun, Sayid and the baby made it off the island, however we've got characters split all over the island and off shore on the boat - I've watched this before but I still can't remember how this all comes together
When considering places to visit, the set locations from Bond films are always a hood place to start.
I have to get to see those underground waterways built by the Romans. Awesome.
This film is superb, great characters and story with a shock opening!
I can’t say how many tones I may have watched this movie.
This time, it’s presented from Blu-ray and seems to take in a visual appearance better than ever
I still think Dr No should have played a bigger part and should have had time to terrorise a little more
Great episode, with some over-acting here and there typical of the 60’s
The Vulcan Mind Meld was an interesting first effort which clearly was refined later on. Even more so because McCoy almost pushed Spock into it. In later years people always try and stop Vulcans from doing it.
The power of suggestion; works every time. Just look at the recent BREXIT campaign. Say something enough times and people believe you!
So, all of a sudden his wife decides she wants to go, really? Thats so odd. He could be President for years and she's saying "I'm only an hour away" and thats by Helicopter!!
I don't think Aaron is involved, if anything he's a pawn - but - lets see how it plays out
Now if I were a crane operator and found a person dangling in-front of me I would judge that to be one heck of a bad day!
Perez has a challenge on his hands today; how to find a killer and stop drug trafficking whilst also continuing to struggle with a strident daughter.
I only wonder why, to some extent, we now get introduced to Sandy's private life, it must have something to do with the plot much deeper than the connection to his partner
This ones a morality nightmare and makes good arguments for both approaches. Unfortunately the sad truth is that we have a chequered history when it comes to treatment of life in the pursuit of knowledge.
Deep!
Top marks for the special effects. I heaven't read the books but I do find the storyline confusing... I didn't understand the events of the ceremony at the end. Truthfully I only watched this because I had seen the others in the series but I'm left wishing I hadn't started. My personal grade of 6/10 is a reflection of the special effects rather than any other aspect of the film
Plenty of plot holes here! So we are to believe that Seska remembers encryption codes that were not just current but due to enter service in months time; no chance!!
Whirlwind; this episode took energy to watch!
Lots of flashback, some of which I wasn't really too invested in. Until now I didn't realise Donna had a father on the scene.... that said, brilliant scene with Donna and Rachel in the bathroom!
Certainly not a winner for dialogue and acting but with entertainment in the special effects department there's fun to be had.
Is there an Area 51? A sobering thought.
Brent Spiner makes this film! On the other hand the general who keeps saying 'My God!' is so so annoying
