This show. Wow. It's just so tremendous. The acting is top drawer. The storylines are superb. The entire location/scenery/camera work is so so good. This episode in itself was perhaps up there with the best TV episode ever. I was quite literally on the edge of my seat, then, I fell off!!
The 1960's, a time when east and west didn't get on; not much different to now really! Loved the comedy in this, it makes the movie. When it ended, I was honestly surprised, I was waiting for the next scene... sequel please!
Profound! I enjoyed this movie when it was released and enjoyed it again tonight. Interesting if slightly 'creepy' topic of substitute robotic children. Probably more sinister to be honest is the fact that humans cease to exist by the ending. The cast are great and 14 years on now from it's release the CGI stands the test of time; my DVD's print quality does not :(
I wasn't surprised to see the mother of Ramsey's child get shot. What is a little surprising is that he would tell this child he will protect him, be back soon and then take on a frontal assault on the facility and go back in time to 1987; you couldn't get farther away!!
There was a dark humour running through this episode.
You can’t feel sorry for either of our two criminals
What’s interesting was they found the plane and the Pearl before anyone else and yet said nothing.
What else has been found by people and not yet ‘told’
That was so hard to watch, so sad
What an absolutely steller last episode
Sawyer, always my favourite character bar none, in so much pain with the loss of Juliet
Kate, well, she changes her mind so frequently, she lives life in a state of constant panic I should think.
Jack, a pain in the ass since the beginning, now instrumental in setting off a bomb to put things back how they were because he wants it at any cost.
Sun, who seems to have no other words than 'where is my husband'
John; ah, John... he never really was 're-incarnated', he's still gone - what a kicker!
Have you tried switching it off and on again?
Cracking episode. I never did feel I trusted the Inspector and I'm pleased Janeway didn't either.
Question though. The passengers all left in shuttles and safely got through the Worm Hole. In the last inspection where were Voyagers crew, Tuvok etc?? They weren't in suspension so how come they weren't found?
Neelix: Coffee anyone?
Janeway: No thanks, any more and I'll be jumping to warp!
How many times can you write how brilliant this show is; here's one more time 'brilliant!'
Go Team PSL!!
Jack is such a tool! This is my second watching of 'Lost' and whilst the first time round I had the impression he was a good guy; when you actually watch this show fluidly, no breaks, he really is a pain in the ass. His constant put downs, bad temper flaring all the time, talking to people in a hostile way and shouting when he doesn't get what he wants.
He's my number 1 most annoying islander
Wow; talk about crazy?...
It seems some of the passengers are back home, but, not who you might think. So far it seems to be Jack, Hurley, Kate and maybe someone in a coffin? That was shown in previous episode but different timeline.
Did Hurley say Oceanic 6? Who are the others? Why aren't there more rescued? Whats with the shack in the jungle... Season 4 questions and plenty of them!
There have been times in the past when Janeway herself has struggled with the Prime Directive.
Tom's decision to try and help was an interesting move - however - wouldn't the use of the Delta Flyer, provision of guidance etc already constitute a breach of the PD?
Janeway always has a knack of making people feel like naughty children I think, when she dresses them down.
Wise to be cautious; a very elaborate and well rehearsed deception
I was surprised this show made it to three seasons. The whole third season was pretty 'trip' and many things were so far beyond plausible it defies explanation. The final episode brings things very well together although no true ending exists; things are very much open to continuation.
Even if there ever was a remake or a season 4 I don't think they would find me watching.
RIP UTD
Louis, really, concealed recording of a conversation! That's so deliciously underhand and why we love to hate you. So many balls up in the air at the moment. Something is gonna get broken!
This is the kind of episode where you are glad you stuck watching a show. Nothing is clear but heck that was explosive!
Funny! Whats that smell?
To be honest; after months on the Island with no modern washing facilities I would have thought they all got used to foul stenches
What is happening? It seems they have got off the island or will get off the island - and - now Jack is doing everything he can to get back! Who is in the casket?? it has to be someone who got off the island, but who!
How the hell did John get there; he was shot days back and was in a pit last we saw him? Ben needs to watch out, John seems to have a greater affinity with the island than he does.
Dr Smith has been exposed! It’s only surprising it didn’t happen sooner.
I feel pity for the robot; if someone came at me with a gun, I’d want them dealt with harshly not left rocking in the arms of a crazy woman
Messing with you.... first they were going to hang.... survived that.... then they get shot!
Great first episode but I’m currently a bit confused as to what’s going on and why. I’m sure it will make sense...
Bjorn is resourceful and fearless. The Bear may seem an easy defeat against the barbarian sent after him :(
Terrific episode!
Picarde is at this best here, defending the rights of not just one crew member, but, the whole Federation.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard: We think we've come so far. Torture of heretics, burning of witches, it's all ancient history. Then - before you can blink an eye - suddenly it threatens to start all over again.
Romulans. So, what were they doing there? I wanted answers.
'Siri, How do you perform CPR on a dog?'
'I found 4 places named Starbucks!'
Donna and Gretchen are great! I wasn't sure about Gretchen at first but she's one feisty/funny lady. Jack Solaff, he on the other hand is one shady dude. The kind of man you really hate to have to work with. I see a future for Harvey and his therapist; they look good together and she certainly has the measure of him.
In life there are true selfless heroes. Thank goodness for them. Watching this is both educational and horror.
Just when you thought it might be possible you had reached the depths of the twists in this shows plots; it gets to another level twist.
So, Daniel left the Island, worked for 3 years or so off Island; came back and tried to change dramatically the direction of things and then died. Has anyone considered the timeline; oh yeah.. it's all bets are off at the moment
Thats how to do an attention grabbing opener; so how did John get off the Island and who can answer all my questions about the Oceanic 6. Who wants Kate's blood, thats a litle late in the day isn't it, she's been off Island for 3yrs+
The one constant, poor Sawyer trecking through the jungle again with no shoes!!
The Island has moved people, the Island has moved - how? well, we don't need to know. Some kind of wheel thing.. a bright light.. then boom, with barely a ripple, it's gone!
The mysterious Mr Bentham turns out to be John, who seems to have found his way off island and into a coffin. Now, over 3 years since leaing, they are to return - but how?...
Oh season 4, you have answered no questions and given me dozens more
