Wow, talk about beating the dead horse.
Don't watch it or you will die......of boredom,
It is amazing how untalented Adam Sandler is as an actor. I knew from his past movies not to expect to much from him, but he managed to hit the new low in this one.
Movie itself was so-so. Not good, but meh.
Wow, took them only 10 months to make episode about Pokemon Go. To bad everyone forgot about that game ages ago.
What the -bleep- did I just watch? It is a miracle that this show even made it to production.
I saw some "Teletubbies" episodes with better script, acting and depth.
addendum:
four episodes in, and it is still terrible.
Sadly the main premise of the show is what makes it unwatchable.
Without the animated character it's same run–of–the–mill family sitcom,
but at least we could say that it's no better or worse that the other shows.
Sadly still don't recommend this for watching.
p.s.
I usually love Jenna Elfman comedy style, but in this show she was on back-burner,
funniest moments were delivered by children.
Not funny, at all. Kept watching in hope that it would get better. It got worse.
Comedy on complete default setting. Textbook, and by the book. Characters are stereotypical and not that funny.
Funniest thing about this show is that the Elena the daughter, and Schneider the landlord wear the same glasses....
Another TV show based on a movie.
Went in expecting disaster. Surprisingly caught myself laughing few times. It is not greatest comedy of all times, and it uses default factory setting for manufacturing comedy, but the material is sometimes funny, and some actors in cast have very good punchline delivery timing. The best thing I can say about this show is that it is somewhat funnier than some of the new comedies this fall.
This show is excellent adaptation of the books. Extraordinary acting, superb cinematography, costumes, the whole production screams of AAA standard. Only problem with the show is that I still don't understand what is their target audience.
It is based on children's books for ages 9-12, so if you are a child between ages 9-12, you should very much love this show, but then again what are you doing on this site.
If you have few cough more years perhaps you can reminiscence reading this as a child and feel nostalgic, but as an adult watching you realize why it was written for child audience, and suddenly all that you loved when you read the books is beginning to annoy you. You realize that the story is extremely slow, plot lines are drawn heavily and repeated, oh, so many times. Character actions are mostly idiotic and non-coherent, not to mention stereotypical.
Sadly I think this show will go out like "Cat in the Hat" or any other similar adaptation of books for young children. To serious for children, and to childish for adults.
The show had its ups and downs through its season, but the final two episodes were game changers and made up for every little bad thing. The show is amazing and can't wait for next season.
There are some things that bugs me with this show, and that is how they don't go bankrupt around episode 2-3, and only explanation is because the get paid well from rich clients to obscure law with jury tampering, illegal hacking for starters showing us that with enough money to throw around you can avoid prosecution. So I should cheer for them, because from time to time they take "pro bono" cases that are shown as episodes, but all other cases that are real money makers are tucked away so public can't see them....
Tried several times to watch pilot, every time gave up from boredom. Finally just trashed whole series without watching the rest of season.
Matt LeBlanc should've stick with "Pucks" since it was funnier than this show.
Everybody can be a Star with an auto-tune...
:) Pilot should get and Oscar for best picture since it is better than any of the movie nominees for this year...
TV rule:
Where there is a time traveling episode, there is always someone to draw fork timeline analogy on a board...
OMG, THEY ARE CRAZY AS SH*T
It's so rare to find such jewel. Everything about this show is perfect. Stellar cast that superbly does the job. Not one bad apple among them. Script, dialog and narrative are finely tuned machines that deliver the exact amount of excitement needed. After watching only one episode I recommend this show to everyone because I know that it will deliver excellence throughout the entire season.
If you ever liked Disney children's comedy shows, and wondered how they would look like with adult cast now is the chance. Humor is almost non-existent, script is written by templates, and only rather OK thing about this show is relatively good cast that is trying their best to revive boring script.
Movie has good poster at least, so if you are into watching movies with good posters, this is the one for you.
For all others I recommend it as waste of time.
Rather enjoyed watching it. Good acting, interesting script. I recommend to watch the movie.
Don't watch. Waste of time.
Fear the Walking Dead is the show for people who watched The Walking Dead and thought that show has too much action, and very little discussing and contemplation about what is happening. Glad that AMC gave those people spin-off so they could just spend an hour watching episodes where people are just moping around and expressing feelings and stuff.
I am trying my best to think about one good thing in this show but nothing comes up, Bad, bad to the bone.
Too many good actors for such a bad movie....
My Score 8.
One of weirdest movies I've watched lately. Excellent acting, Very good story, and less you know about the plot beforehand the better. Only reason I gave it a 8 is because it is rather slow paced, but still I very much enjoyed watching it.
Everything you need to know about movie you can find out from the trailer.
Font in the trailer is from Game of Thrones...
Guess Hodor borrowed it. :)
Wrong background, it is from TV show Surface.
