Yah, I actually really liked how this episode cleared up the whole "Demon Lord" arc. Rather than go with the traditional OP MC going super-saiyan fight, we got a great comedy routine instead which fits this entire series a lot more. Not gonna lie, I really like some of the comedic faces this show has and the splashes of "Engrish" that they throw in for comedy :D
I'm looking forward to more ladies being introduced and how the rest of the story develops from here on out.
Oh dang. This is actually becoming better. I liked the setup and action in this episode, and I'm glad they didn't play around with Marie's identity for a long time (other than for the great jokes :D ). The last sequence was pretty solid as well with some nice "surprises".
I now must resist reading the Light Novel and just wait for this to air. Must... resist...
Not gonna lie. I watched the first two episodes of this on a whim and actually found it pretty damn funny so far. Llyod is quite a character. We'll see how far the joke of him being "OP and not knowing" can go, but it looks solid so far with the animation looking surprisingly good. The girls and other side characters are crazy as shit as well, which really helps fill out the rest of the show thus far. I'll definitely keep watching this as the season progresses.

Incredible episode!! This was definitely the best episode of the entire first cour. Unfortunately it was also beyond sad and heartbreaking at times too. Fantastic animation and a great job by MAPPA of bringing this entire sequence to life.
Not gonna lie. That's only of the most "action-packed" reunions that I've seen for a reality tv show. There were some legit fireworks and MAD drama during this one.
For once, I actually don't think that Angelina really started that much drama. FOR ONCE. This shit was just brewing since day 1 and just exploded in that epic fight.
This movie encapsulates my favorite saying of "I don't know what it is. But I want it". I have little to no idea what in the world was happening during the movie but I loved it. I'm gonna have to watch this at least 3 more times (and with subtitles) to even figure out what the hell exactly happened.

This was a good season EXCEPT for that horrific anime original ending. Basically puts a nail in the coffin for a possible 3rd season. At least the manga is still going well and is heading to the final endgame as well. Especially from reading the latest chapter (141), it looks like Uruka will probably be the "winner" in the end like in the anime's ending...
Great adaptation of the ending. The feels hit me hard in the finale just like it did when I read the novel. I REALLY REALLY hope that they continue to adapt the rest of the novels with the adventures in Exfolia by giving us a second season. I've read part of the continuing web novel and enjoyed it a decent amount. It goes in a slightly different direction, so there's some decent comedy with that as well.

Love the humor and adaptation of this episode as well. LOVED the "slapping" scene with Rosalie. I was waiting for that one. The only thing that disappointed me this episode was the definite drop in animation quality, especially when looking at the characters' faces from further away. Honestly, this seems like a production issue due to a packed schedule and lack of resources (hence the one week that they delayed a previous episode). I hope it gets cleaned up in the BD release because the direction, voice work and other parts of the adaptation have been on point.
Oh man... This episode had some AMAZING moments between Rista and Seiya especially the entire "flying" sequence (gotta make a gif of the last part). This is one of the few anime adaptations that I've seen where I think the anime actually really improves significantly on the light novel/manga sources.
On the other hand, this was the first episode where I thought things were a little bit rushed. However, this is only from the point-of-view where I already know what extra little details and dialogue were added in the light novel. The stuff that they skipped over really isn't that relevant or important to the characters, and being able to get through all this stuff faster in order to get to the honestly good stuff later on is more important. So, while it was a bit rushed in a sense, nothing of importance was really lost.
I'm really looking forward to the next arc. It's gonna be LIT.

The return of Mafuyu-sensei in full force, and some solid chapters animated right there with some nice little additions. I can't wait for Miharu to make her appearance soon :drool:
On a sadder note, it looks like they probably skipped the beach chapters with Ashumi and Sensei since they showed a tiny little montage of Ashumi last episode. RIP in missing Sensei in a school girl swimsuit...
Edit: Nm. Those chapters are being animated in the upcoming OVA released this winter!
Sick. This anime adaptation is really really well done. I love the improvements made on the light/web novel and manga. It's adding a lot of personality to the original dialog and nice little meme-worthy moments. Can't wait for more!
Also, I think that the anime adaptation can get to a pretty good point in the source material where we actually hit like some really good plot twists and character development with some real serious stuff. Hopefully it all turns out good!
Whoaaaaaah!!! I watched the first episode on a whim and now I am 100% on this train until the very end. This is like Konosuba 2.0 with actually good animation. I absolutely love the animation and especially the facial emotions of Listarte/Lista/Rista that Whitefox have animated so far as they give a definite Studio Trigger vibe. I hope that the quality stays at this pace.
The VA's are absolute gold as well for the MC's. Aki Toyosaki (Yui from K-On) does a fantastic Listarte and Yuuichirou Umehara (Goblin Slayer's Goblin Slayer ) nails the deadpan emotionless comedy as well. I'm really loving the chemistry between the two so far. Hopefully things will continue to progress and stay fresh.

Holy shit. I thought it couldn't get any worse. And it got soooooo much worse. What a complete butchering of Shea's introduction arc and the Haulia/Verbergen arc. I've seen things rushed before in an anime adaptation, but this was taken to a whole new level. They literally covered more than half of an entire volume of the light novel in 1 episode and left out anything that resembled or seemed to have any semblance of importance into a 1-2 minute montage.
And the animation and character designs are still looking like complete crap. I absolutely cringe to thinking about how the rest of the series will be butchered...
Jesus f'n Christ. This anime is just straight GARBAGE. I'm so disappointed that one of my favorite series is getting butchered to this extent. The animation is definitely cringe in a lot of places thus far (misshaped faces and expressions galore), and they don't even try to explain any of the story and just rush through every single aspect of the original material. We don't get any details or introspection on Hajime and the other characters thoughts and motivations about various circumstances, situations, and anything that could be remotely considered interesting and add to the story. Instead it's a rush job of epic proportions.
Please for the love of god, read the light novel (or web novel) instead.

Animations are subpar, CGI is even worse. Character design seems lackluster and the episode jumps all over the place.
They jump right into one of the most defining experiences of the MC and then destroy what little suspension they can build with ridiculous, unconnected flashbacks.

Holy Shit. That might honestly be one of the worst and most confusing ways to start an isekai series ever. Literally zero explanations, no backstory, and trying to intermix multiple timelines together with nothing to go on. This was the anime studio trying to do an "edgey" version of an isekai opening introduction by dropping the audience into the middle of the story and it definitely fell flat. The show itself looks semi-ok and I sure hope that things will be cleared up if they actually get to properly introducing all the story elements and characters, but this is not a good start. I'm actually a fan of the light novels so it is definitely better to read the novels instead at least thus far.
Sooooooo hyped for Season 2!!! Heard it gets even better from here on...
Solid ending. Nothing too amazing but it was pretty good nonetheless. The show overall was pretty solid. The start of the show was fantastic but it kind of lost steam from there on. It definitely had some slow parts and got off track a bit in the second cour, but it finished up relatively strong enough. Not sure that it ever lived up to the massive hype that was behind it early on. Too bad we never got that perfect Dororo x Hyakkimaru ending. Other than for this tiny glimpse of "grownup" Dororo...

An ENTIRE Kirisu-sensi episode. I literally could not ask for more. I thought the first half with the maid cafe was already amazing, but the second half with sensei rocking her school uniform look was just top notch. End it all with the troll face from Kominami at the end, and I couldn't have been more pleased.
