Yeah well, love that they actually have the guts to kill off main characters. Must admit, it was hard to let both Lincoln and Lexa go this season, but keeps the plot going. We need an epic revenge on Pike. Great shows kill main characters.. (Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy (the most Epic of them all)). Anyways a great episode !
How can Lukas be so self-centered? Philip deserves better.
Enjoyed this way more than i thought i would.... and i dont even follow Baseball but its something ive always been curious about
Even though I really liked the Pilot, something just felt a little bit off about it.
The visual atmosphere they're creating is perfect and it clearly shows which direction this show is supposed to head. Also, the music is really well-picked and just fits.
But while the looks and the characters, as well as the story assume an atmosphere similar to classic Nordic crime shows, the pace so far feels way too fast, as if they couldn't manage to fit all the content into a single episode otherwise. That, for me, kind of disrupted all the things that were so great about it. Nevertheless, we'll see how it all develops- it was still a very solid Pilot.
Well, I have to admit I really liked the pilot. I only watched one game of baseball ever (toronto - yankees) and got bored the hell out of me - just not my sport. But the kind of making and the feeling this show delivers ... really loving it. Give it a shot, even if you don't care for the sport.
This episode was better than all of season 5. Off to a great start!
"Mom's bringing the scary and Dad's bringing the hairy."
When are we going to realize that AHS is not the good show that once was? srsly, i have no idea whats going on
10 outta 10 kinda show right here
Welp, wtf was that Ryan?! You should've cut out all that reality TV BS.
Also, I agree, Adina Porter IS a regular...she was the driving force the whole second half of the season.
AND MY QUESTIONS REGARDING THE WITCH WERE NOT ANSWERED D:<
So far, the best epidode from this season
Soso and Poussey are just so adorable (♥‿♥)
I was worried their relationship would get dragged out or there would be unnecessary hardships, but they work on their problems and they move forward and that's just beautiful. I can't stop smiling everytime I see them :')
such a really great start! =) unexpected.
Gina Rodriguez ("Awake", "Miss Bala") shows some surprising comedic chops as a once promising writer, who chased after a relationship that didn't work out, only to return home to her old gig and find that her besties have kind of moved on without her, one now being her supervisor, and the stuck up rich girl they used to make fun of now runs the newspaper where she works. Rather than simply continuing where she left off, she finds she was a pity hire, and is stuck in a LITERAL closet to pen obituaries for obscure people who have shed their mortal coils.
Hilarity ensues when she meets a friendly old man while she is drowning her sorrows, only to find him in her flat the next morning, where she discovers she is pretty much channeling "Cole" from "The Sixth Sense", until she figures out what they need from each other, and pens the appropriate commentary on their life and passing. In the interim, she ends up discovering just as much about herself, and learns there may be more to herself, her workmates and others than her first impressions.
Pilot episode had some laugh out loud moments, and, I look forward to seeing if they can keep this fresh and interesting throughout the season.
Pretty good first episode for The Jim Jefferies Show. It will take a few months for Jim to get comfortable in his role and feel out the show and his audience. Jim is bringing a little different flavor to late night. We'll see what happens!
i have never wanted to punch a fictional character. and then i met lukas
Not funny at all. I give it one season, max. Hopefully less.
