almost every ep in a nutshell - oliver makes shit decisions, he gets rekt, then comes the cringy, constipated d&m's AND OMG ITS SO DRAWN OUT
Please stop this tv show!!!
The season 1 is good and 2 is ok, after that, is an exponential to the abyss of shit superhero tv shows
the first 2 seasons were great, after season 3 I gave up.
wanna watch a show that's become completely based on fan pandering? good news: arrow exists
Such a waste this show became. Start watching this show then make a favor to yourself, stop watching it after first or second season at most.
I loved S1 and S2 and then it took a long time to get through season 3 and I knew Ragnar was dead for me... as sad as it sounds I think this would have worked much better as a mini series instead of stretching it out and rehash the same things over and over. Maybe I come back one day for Season 4.... but then again, I rather keep Ragnar from S1 and 2 than having to face mediocrity.
I only started watching this recently. And now that I've reached the beginning of S5 I have already decided to pull out.
I loved the first two season, they were an easy 10 for me. The third was exceptable to watch but the forth killed the show for me. Stupid side-plots that lead nowhere were implemented just to fill the extended season. Characters were killed for no apparent reason and those killings, for the most part, did nothing for the plot - they were just gone. For me, this show lived through and from its characters. And those who are left don't interest me any more. From one episode to the next I was sying to myself "watch another, maybe it's getting better". Not happening. Still, not awful, it just doesn't interest me any longer. I've seen what I needed to see.
They promised the show would be better in S5 but I for one am not buying in any longer.
As a Veteran, I see this movie as a trite play on the hearts of American heart toward Veterans. When it comes down to it, it's a story about a dog and a family that all play typical family stereotypes. This 'Dog of War' also displays skills unrealistic of what a dog can actually do. Annoying movie.
Uninspired family movie, I found this to be quite disappointing. Still, at least Max is a better actor than most of those on screen.
Another great movie, based on a true story.
If you are a real dog friend, you have to watch this!
OMG- this movie should have an Surgeon General's Warning - "WARNING: Can do damage to the FEELS"
I watched this film with my dogs, during a rainy afternoon. By the time it was over, I was balling like a toddler, holding both dogs in my chest, petting them and telling them that I promise NEVER to die on them. EVER.
(To be honest, I think they were pretty happy for the attention).
It makes you cry, to think that for the rest of that dog's life, he waited and waited for the return of the greatest person in his life, not understanding that it will never happen. I am afraid that my one dog (the other one passed away last year) will be like this - he is so attached to me, and doesnt really bond with anyone else.
I cried, every time, admitted.
Please stop rating Episodes before they have been aired.
Not really my kind of movie. I can see why some people would love it.
What a meaningless 2nd season. Boring, dull and dumb waste of time.
Could have been a decent horror flick if it hadn't been populated with a bunch of totally unbelievable, illogical assholes.
feels like they try to take the style from "the mask" with Jim Carrey, but they just can't bring it home...
overkill!! if you were on the fence with the first, this one is going to push you over.
had to much going on and far too few thread too hold it all together
I guess if your into Jr. High humor.
The dialogues were so unoriginal! It was like a generic-version of a fantasy tale, they got the bones for it, but could not really flesh it.
Story's weak compared to the previous installments.
Incongruences in the script from beginning to end, action without sense.
I think my old review said it all...so here it is.
How many times can you shoot the same movie without things getting stale?!?
Well...usually...not many...especially when you have done it so many times as they have done it with the Underworld franchise...AND...with a smaller and smaller budget to boot.
Even Kate Beckinsale in her incredibly tight spandex can't save this one. Don't get me wrong...she's as hot as ever, but seem dreadfully bored about the whole thing. Though...she's actually one of the few redeeming factors. One of the other is that the effects are quite good in places...except for the usual bad CGI of course.
Anyway...I'm not going to list everything that is wrong with this one because that would take a very long time, BUT...especially ONE thing bothered me throughout the entire movie. The lighting sucked all the way through. Most of the time you couldn't even see what was going on let alone any details. I know the movie is supposed to have a gothic feel...but talk about taking it too far.
Watch Underworld: Blood Wars only if you are a fan of the franchise, or have a masochistic streak.
I'm pretty sure this will be the last time I'll ever see this movie. There are too many GOOD movies out there I haven't seen yet to bother with this one again.
I'm fairly disappointed with this. I've been an Underworld fan and I really think it should've ended with Awakening (though that really is not as good as well). Yes, lots of action but the storyline is ?? like whatever was that super fast almost superpower like thing?? And since Rise of the Lycans I've been waiting for Michael's story to continue only to have him dead by Marius?! Hopefully they end it at the next one because no doubt, they can't even hide Kate Beckinsale's age in some scenes.
Is the weakest of all, the plot is taken out of the sleeve, and prepare the way for a part 6
100% better than the second, whats the 4th one got in store :)
A lot of action combined with a nice story make this sequel a worthy one. Very entertaining!
Entertaining, though lacklustre in telling an original story.
The highlight for me personally was definitely when the main characters enter The Shining. The way this is created looks to true to the source material and is full of recognisable moments from Kubrick's movie. Also, the way the added scenes tie into the original is really well done and the way the characters interact with the scenes we all know is good for a chuckle or two (like the scene with Aech and the twins).
The story itself is nothing special; poor guy gets a chance to make the world a better place for himself and everybody else by stopping an evil corporation from getting absolute power and in the end succeeds in doing so against all odds.
But that is not why you watch this movie. You watch it to be entertained and on that front it delivers. There is no point in the movie where you are bored as there is so much visual spectacle to behold throughout the entire movie. The effects are always great and the most fun thing in this movie is spotting the references to pop-culture both past and present. And trust me, there are a lot.
So even though the plot is nothing special, if you're looking for a movie to just have a good time with this one won't disappoint.
This was beautiful to look at. But damn near everything was different. Too different. I don’t like what they did to Art3mis. Her personality was so vastly different from the book that if I didn’t know better I’d swear she was a different character.
I’m sure I would’ve loved this movie if I hadn’t read the book. I can say with 100% certainty that I’ll never watch it again.
But man it was beautiful.
