It feels like that writers sat down together and pitched ideas which controversial topics they didnt touch yet.
Mental disorders.
More gays.
Police survellaince.
School shooting.
Riot against the police.
HIV/AIDS.
Then took all ideas and put them together in the fourth season. Do they make sense together? Absolutely not. It lacks any coherence, characters act like they all lost their mind and almost nothing they do has any future consequences. The series was trying from the beginning to depict teenage issues as realistical, but this season was ridiculous.
It obviously doesnt matter, because the end was full of emotions and everybody will remember the end.
An unnecessary and boring season. I'm afraid the next one will be even worse.
Wow, what a soap opera... The first season was painful to watch because of the things that happened to Hannah, this season was painful to watch because of the shallow and repetitive dialogs/situations, and a plot that could've fit fine into 4-6 episodes. I'm not sure, maybe I'm misremembering things, but the screenplay/writing felt better in season 1 too (and not because of the density). In this one, there were so many things spelled out explicitly, where a nod or a scene cut or any other non-verbal technique would suffice.
13 questions why this show got a third season.
Since the first season of this show, only few episode "respected" the books.. I still watched the show as I really like Henry Cavill, but... Honestly.. What's wrong Netflix? Despite Geralt, what is this awful cast?!! Is it possible to make it worst? And still pretend to be "The Witcher"?
So, if you liked the books, this serie is not for you. If you liked the games, this serie is not for you. End. (and, by the way, Netflix subscription cancelled linked to this)

Season 2 Review:
The second season of this show is a very mixed bag for me, and it's the most apparent in the characters. For example, I loved everything we got from Jepperd this season including the fleshing out of his darker backstory and seeing just how much he has changed and grown since meeting Gus. His devotion to Gus and the lengths he's willing to go to in order to keep him safe were really great. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, General Abbot was an incredibly one-note and silly villain that I did not care for. And all of the other characters fall somewhere on the wide spectrum between these two. Another inconsistency was the tone. We'll get fart jokes one minute and the next there are people threatening to cut open and experiment on children. This show has a very unique style and tone that tries to balance these two extremes, and sometimes it comes across really well, but in this season it just felt all over the place a little. I also had a really difficult time getting behind some of the costume designs for the kids. Some looked okay but others looked like poorly drawn makeup and clearly fake props. Most of them just looked like normal kids wearing costumes, so getting me to believe they are human-animal hybrids was difficult. However, I did enjoy much of the script across the season and the story that was told here. The themes were on point, resulting in a heartfelt story about friendship. The emotional beats worked well enough for me especially between Gus and Jepperd, they have a really great relationship and the actors have good chemistry. The production design was also pretty good. So all-in-all, I wasn't as endeared to this season as much and the inconsistencies with characters and tones drag it down, but the story is good.
6.0/10 -- Decent
Weaker season than first one with terrible pacing that drags some episodes too long. The biggest issue I have with this series is the Witches, they destroyed all the nuance they have and made them superheroes with dumb writing. Now the Witches basically destroy consistency with the story because if they can kill so many people so fast, even go faster than the aeroships, why the hell they are losing the war? Is it because they nuked them? Why the hell they are captured if they can kill anyone? It doesn't make any sense. This in the original books make sense, because they are not supers, Witches in the original book have subtle abilities, and not that crap assassin's creed killing skills. Also the Witches clothing in the series looks like shit. It is funny because the movie that many people didn't liked have better representation for the Witches.
Not liking season 3. It lacks focus. I'm taking a break from it. Not sure I'll finish it. But the 1st and 2nd season were great.
Overrated. Too much drama. It could have done without the excessive love interests.
I have expected all the members of the gang were smart. But they're not, just Professor, Berlin and Nairobi are.
Stupid members:
Tokio? - She always acts like a cool woman, but all the things she isn't
Rio - Stupid but naive, because he is young, and Professor doesn't want him in the team for the first time
Good members, quite stupid:
Denver - Just a goodman, not stupid but not smart, what is his talent?
Moscow - Goodman, like father like son, not suit for a rob job, but he does a good job.
Two foreigner man:
They do a good job, not smart, but do a very good job. Just unlucky.
(I'm just watched to S01E11)
This show is truly a telenovela product.
A pure telenovela show, where's the love story is a big part of a Latino/Hispanic drama.
The writers think that they're clever by using a lot of historic references and a little bit of pop culture but in reality, it suffers in an unpolished script.
I think that this show could be cut into 10 episodes to finish the first arc of the story and also cut each episode to a minimum of 50mins instead of 70mins runtime. (It's exhausting to watch this unnecessary scenes).
I'm still thinking whether if I continue this series to the 3rd season or dropped it.
A good conclusion to the political drama. But the end was very open, it was clearly rushed.
Seems like someone has lost their faith in the series.
Bummer.
Really poor season compared to the previous three... I agree with another comment that said this just felt like a huge filler season so let's hope that the next one blows us off your feet or I am afraid it will be the last one produced.
Writers look like they were bored and wanted to get this over with! Cannot believe how this went down hill.
worst season ever!
this became soap telenovela, even in telenovelas we have more excitement than here.
really boring storyline, episodes 1-9 are dull and boring, and episode 10 is rushed as hell.
also, WTF is that in episode 10 - D-DAY landing?!?!
show needed to end with Ragnar's death.
4/10
Marginally better than the first season.
The visuals, production values and action sequences are still great.
In addition, the episodes are somewhat connected now, adding up to a bigger picture in the final episodes.
But, the characters are still paper thin, so you’re not really given enough reason to care about anything in this show.
Also, I really didn’t like the ending.
I’m not the kind of person that gets hyped when person or thing A from franchise B shows up.
So besides carrying little meaning for me personally, it felt like a massive deus ex machina moment.
And it feels like Lucasfilm hasn’t learned from their biggest mistake yet.
Just shoot a double from the back, use Mark Hamill’s voice , and cut to one or two close ups for which you use all the available budget.
Or just go the old fashioned way and cast a lookalike, someone like Sebastian Stan .
The way they did it now sort of felt like Lucasfilm going like: look at what we can do!
Well, you failed, just like you did with Tarkin in Rogue One .
5/10
A decent follow up to the first series, I didn't find it as thought provoking and at points the plot can be a little linear. Some episodes merely act merely as filler, it feels like this could have been condensed into a theatrical length film. Visually beautiful with some good ideas, by far the stars of the show are Simone Missick who plays the interesting cyberpunk hacker/bounty hunter with one foot in the action and another trying to balance her commitments to family and the absolutely fabulous Chris Conner.
Exploring the fragmentation of Poe makes him feel only so much more human, a trait which unfortunately is lacking in leads Anthony Mackie and Renee. I understand this is a point the show is trying to make, the humans who have experienced lifetimes of memories and have moved from sleeve to sleeve are potentially less human than their AI counterparts but this just means we don't feel as invested in our lead two. The big reveal of the elders follows a fairly standard execution of aliens in sci-fi, the mystery disappears and unfortunately what could have been a deep dive into an alien culture is brought short abruptly with flashy fight sequences.
Enjoyable enough for any sci-fi/cyberpunk fans.
I didn’t plan on binging the entire season in a day, but I really enjoyed watching it despite being confused by the storyline a few times, but everything mostly came together towards the end. And to be honest, the storyline could’ve been a lot better, but whatever.
My favorite character is Poe. I still feel that he’s being under utilized, even though we got see a lot more of him this season than last. I hope next season the writers’ expand a lot more on the character and we eventually see a Sleeved Poe — that’ll be so dope!
This season is quite repeating the previous three. The same old Brida. The same good followers. Edward is the weaker version of Alfred. Father Pyrlig is the weaker Beocca. Cnut and Sigtrggr are the new Ubba and Ragnar. Eardwulf is the Aethelwold...
I love the Bebbanburg part, so shame it can't play more in this season.
They gently fondled our nostalgia while fucking us hard in the ass with the piss poor story. Now officially the worst Prison Break season of all time.
Please, no more.
This series is dead already, it has got it's final, please, don't ruin more...
After seeing season 7, I was concerned for this one. Seems my concern was for good reason.
overall impression: bullshit hollywood movie (i.e same crap like marvel, DC).
but hands down, beautifully done BS.
the absolute state of this
My most beloved TV show got destroyed in a matter of minutes. The previous episodes of S08 at least gave me some kind of emotion, episode 05 was a flat line. This truly is a masterpiece, a masterpiece of destruction. They've destroyed everything! The character development, the story, the plot, the meaning of GOT, the writing of G.R.R. Martin. They've destroyed all the hard work put in all of these years, they've spit on everything. I'm not going to hate the show, it gave me so much, and it will continue to be my favorite, but i'm just going to pretend this last season was never made. I'm going to imagine all the possible theories, all the story plots that could have been made, and just hope the writer finishes the series some day.
Sesion 8 the waste of our time.
Much worse than first 2 season... thinking of stop watching... :((
