This franchise moves a notch lower with every new film it releases. Gru hasn't been despicable since the original and his minions are now a joke I've heard many times before.
The movie is way too unrealistic. No one plugs in a USB cable on the first try.
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
Me: this show couldn't get any stranger
Waffle Party: hold my waffles
" Go now to the founder's bed " ... what in the hell ??!
Watched this with my niece and nephews without being caught up on the rest of the series. In fact, I couldn't have told you beforehand which ones I had seen, but if my watch history is to be trusted, I've only seen the first. Luckily, other than some initial confusion about Gru's affiliation with the AVL, I didn't feel like I was missing anything critical. I went in with basically no expectations and was pleasantly surprised. Unlike Inside Out 2, which I saw last week, there's no real ambition to tell a powerful/poignant story with this one - it's a low brow kids movie through and though. But it's very watchable, with an appropriately brief runtime and some physical/gag-based humor that even worked on a jaded adult like me (the minions doing baby care like a racing pit stop definitely got a chuckle). As far as criticisms go, the kids' plot line felt short changed and the epilogue song/dance party definitely lost me.
Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
Great episode, but it didn't feel like Black Mirror. It's missing the sci-fi element, the dystopian topic, the futuristic technology aspect.
If what Chidi said to Eleanor didn't make you cry, what is wrong with you?
Go lick a boot, Mark
"Ay Pechanga"
What a blast! I was looking forward to this when I first saw the trailer and damn I'm a sucker for cameos and easter eggs. So many references, so many fun stuff. "Aunt-man"? Bootleg-Simpsons? Ugly SONIC! Dale a "Chip 'n Dale?" Roger Rabbit!! Most of Seth Rogen's animated characters?!!? Paula Abdul and MC Skat Kat! Alvin and the Chipmunks are even here! Scrooge! And even all the Disney Afternoon stars!
Anyway yeah, it was a blast. It might not satisfy everyone but I enjoyed it a lot. Enjoyed the plot, the call backs and the voice cast is good! But I agreed with Darkwing Duck at the end. When is he getting his due? We've had a Ducktales cartoon reboot and now Chip 'n Dale? Hopefully he's next in line. (I wouldn't mind something with Talespin too.) I know Darkwing made a little return in the Ducktales cartoon but I would love a Darkwing movie.
Sometimes some crimes

But these two gumshoes

Mind f* and retro-modern techno wierd. Exactly how I like it
Are you here looking for reviews to see if the movie is good?
Just say Silenzio Bruno!! and immediately watch this movie
A great theatrical, emotional roller coaster, entertaining, edge of seat kind of film that you love to see about a music icon. This is not your average non fiction story line type film about a celebrity, but a plot twisting story line jumping, action packed roller coaster type movie taking the audience on a hell of a ride about Elvis. The good, bad and ugly. Whether it was too much about his manager taking advantage of him or too much about the attraction fans felt for him or the impact he had in the civil rights movement, it was all very well done as it showed how much of a positive and historical impact he made on the music industry.
Raise your hand if you replayed the "I was wrong" dance.
So Pixar are just gonna give me a film with sea monster as allegory for being gay and expect me not to develop an insane attachment to it? This is really really a happy place for me. One day we’ll have the real thing, but for now we have Luca:green_heart:
This movie takes you on the edge of your seat from start to finish
A solid story that keeps you engaged the whole time with a great twist
Sarah Paulson is fantastic and Kiera Allen did a good job too , superb performances that hold the film together
An empowering thriller
One of the weirdest documentary series that can be found. The irony of John Wilson manifests itself in episodes with strange themes such as scaffolding or ways of covering furniture. The mastery of the project is in how it manages to make each episode drift towards unusual paths, which cast doubt on the lucidity of the human being. It is an unusual look at life, a discovery of the most remote places of our existence.
The vibe of the company and building reminds me of the video game 'Control'. Esp with the director vibe of the CEO. So interesting that the show is set in modern times but has a distinct 70s setting, more so on the severed floor.
I can't believe I'm crying on a kid's tv show. Disney plus is banning episodes and I hate them for it. But I've managed to watch banned anyway.
Man, there's a lot of weirdos out there. Makes one feel normal, lol
A fun and good animated movie. A lot of element-related jokes - that often aren't that funny. Overall really solid tho.

Seriously Juliana and Joe are one of the worst main characters i've ever met. She is a stupid b*tch who cares more about everybody than her boyfriend. And Joe is just an a*shole. And its pretty obvious that they are gonna f*ck later. Disgusting.
I cant believe i like the Obergruppenführer more than them.
The Power of the Dog lies in the sun for hours, and the jumps up and bites you in the face!
Story: 8...subtle, maybe too much so
Script: 8...words good
Performances: 6...I know he's getting great reviews but Cumberbatch was so acty-acty sometimes that it was humorous
Misc.: 8...holy shit the score and camerwork are amazing. Pace is excruciating
Influence: 6...it's artistic alright, but doesn't have much that lands a lasting punch
Overall: 7
Jane Campion makes me guess what’s happening the whole time - I don’t like it that much, but I respect it. This may not be my best picture of 2021, but if it receives the honor, I respect it, because the cinematography, the acting, the art direction is solid here.
Pretty bland for a kids film to be honest. Wasn’t my theater pick, but even the kids weren’t very amused.
I didn't enjoy is as much as I thought I would, but 'Fargo' is still very good and something I'd obviously recommend.
I like the cast here, even if it is a bit of a Frances McDormand carryjob to be honest - she is terrific all the way through, absolutely nailing the role. Steve Buscemi is the star away from McDormand, while I've seen a few glimpses of William H. Macy elsewhere but this is his best showing that I've watched thus far. Peter Stormare is good too.
It's an entertaining story, that's for certain! Around 98 minutes was a wise run time call, also. I didn't get that extra little something from it, yet it's a film that I'd more than happily rewatch - largely thanks to McDormand, and Buscemi.
Wouldn’t it be easier and safer to put the robots (replicas) on the space mission? Like duh? They do not need life support system, food, and physical activity. Would it be nicer if they actual humans stayed in their homes and spend their time with family?
Somehow, the pilot of story twisted to make us watch 80 minutes episode, almost as long as a movie. Just to tell us that we need to take care of our family and loved ones! The only explanation for this movie plot is that the astronauts were already in a long distance space mission and later on, they have decided to make the replicas for their families.
Seeing a film that's won the Palme d'or at Cannes or Best Picture Oscar is like drinking a bottle of ridiculously expensive wine: with every sip you ask yourself over and over again if it deserves the price. Fortunately, Parasite is so good you won't be drinking very long because you'll be drunk on its power soon enough.
A film that crosses genres so many times it leaves a permanent mark, Parasite is a clever story performed wonderfully and directed to perfection.
