Man ,the VFX is much worse (I'm talking about the waterfalls scene). I guess they didn't get a 100mil budget this time.
Aaah seriously.... What kind of end is this.... We're not done hearing of Dr Alsey lol.
Kwan Ha completely gone, they'd better let us see her battle for her planet :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
Cortana in, John out. Will he come back? :open_mouth:
I'm waiting!
This show.
If it can keep up this quality and syndicate out to as many networks as possible.
Will be added to peoples short list of “good tv” in the last 25 years.
It’s takes a tiny fraction of the universe of Halo, and builds interesting and engaging stories that one actually looks forward to watching.
Not a lot of tv in the last couple years has been able to come close to that high bar. This one does.
I’d rank it up there with some of the greats like Firefly, StarGate, Dr Who, StarTrek (not discovery), and The Expanse.
For me to become excited about tv shows these days, a high bar has to be met. So far Halo, has not only met the bar, but passed it.
The series is "based on" the HALO franchise, it will never, never, never adapt anything from the games literally. I understand the fans' annoyance but on its own terms it's an entertaining show "based on" HALO universe, except for the Kwan subplot which is rubbish.
This part of Halo is interesting to explore, the division of the characters following their own motivations.
Finally a great episode. I really like where they are taking the show with what happened during this episode. The link between John and Makee is intriguing. And making this episode even better is the fact that there was no distraction from the Kwan side story, which I would be happy if they just dropped completely at this point to focus on the main storyline.
That was one packed episode. I felt really connected to the characters.
We're going in the right direction here, please please please don't mess it up.
The weakest thing in this series continues to be Kwan Ha. The character is weak; the story is boring and uninspired; the actress is miscast and not very good; and it adds nothing to the show. Every time the show returned to Madrigal, the main storyline crawls to a halt — which us unfortunate because the main storyline is actually starting to get good. The action at the end of the episode was much better than the one in the pilot.
Dang that scene with the racial stereotypes was hard to get through. It was awkward watching them get through the awkwardness.
Wow, so they got a new show runner, and the first decision he makes is to get new actors for Kristina, Kristina's kid, and Kristina's boyfriend/baby daddy (no longer a Jonas bro). To top it all off, there is a weird disconnect where Kristina's baby daddy is also now really in the picture.. strange, very strange.
I wouldn't care so much about the fact they recasted Kristin except for the fact she has a completely different personality. I don't like new Kristin. Also the kid aged like 3 years! What's up with that? And baby daddy is now a sort of permanent fixture? WTH? Did the writers not watch season one before writing season two?
I don’t know anything about the halo universe and I’m enjoying this more than I expected I would.
I’m gonna ignore the nerds and nay sayers. This is good hard sci-fi fantasy and the story is really compelling.
Another good episode. The visuals are amazing and Master Chief just looks amazing. Pablo Schreiber is awesome in the role as he first and foremost has the right physique to play this iconic character.
What an adrenaline filled amazing episode. Loved it.
I was on the edge of my seat for the whole duration of the episode! This show just keeps getting better.
Oh, look, it's becoming another Scorpion show.
Quite disappointing to be honest.
Boring and stupid episode. Patterson is characterized as the smart person of the team who also happens to be the computer person of the group as well. Yet she was portrayed as being very stupid in this episode as a plot convenience for her to have this imaginary conversation with David while being the main focus of the episode except he's dead and was actually her subconscious. To top that off, she was trying to solve a tattoo, solved it, and then pursued it all by herself and paid the consequence for it. And to make it even more obvious that all of that was simply a plot convenience, had she shared the solved tattoo with the team, they would've caught the guy in the very first minute of the episode, if not earlier.
I love Patterson as a character, the "tech guy" being a woman and inserted so naturally into the series. but I think her character is made to be the "smart and intelligent when it comes to concrete data and abstract knowledge but dumb in making real life decisions and social skills", so I'm cool with her doing stupid stuff when confronted like this - but yeah, this episode was filler, the case was minor in the scheme of the plot and they could have solved it in a minute if Patterson didn't try to do it by herself lol
And more imposing on the job even though the hipster guy is dead.
Seriously, that was the most ridiculous episode Blindspot did so far and it's going to be difficult to top that.
I like that this show has a "normal" woman being the tech "guy" and not being weird or made fun of by being the way she is - or being a forced social commentary. But this episode made me hope she gets killed off for her stupidity, a hope that isn't gone with the end of this episode.
This was the worst episode yet. Patterson is the stupidest smart person
This show is chaos and it is infuriating.
It's not even the multiple storylines going on, though that adds to the chaos, it's the format. Some slower episodes are easier to follow when they take the time to allow the scenes to breathe and evolve, but most jitter back and forth in such swift succession, it's like a squash match with caffeinated meerkats.
Blindspot is like an aptly titled, beautiful 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle with all the corners and edges missing... no idea if we'll find them, guess we have to keep at it... * groan *!
Being cryptic just to be cryptic. Ah, one of those tropes everybody loves. A guarantor for unnecessary plots.
I do enjoy this show overall for its usual rather dense plots, good cast and chemistry, even though it's not really an outstanding series. But this shadow-y tattoo business is like a trap for this series it cannot get out of and will be the downfall of the series in the longrun.
Am I a bad person for being glad that David actually got killed? He was annoying af
The whole CIA vs FBI plot point is pretty lame. The show actually isn't that great plot wise, they just pull you in by the mystery of what happened to Jane.
Good story, nice special effects
I don’t rate episodes also, but this is something you cannot pass.
Worst episode of the show and one of the worst I’ve seen, who saw this and said yes excellent let’s put it in the show and ruin everyone’s mind and eyes.
I pressed skip seconds many times!
Looks like the Simpson's missed the lifeboat and sank with the ship.
Best episode so far, man that was sick.
Maul had no chance against Obi-Wan, a fitting end to an iconic character. Great episode!
